As expected with regular seeds, we had both males and females, and this was the week we identified them all. From the original 12 beans, 5 revealed themselves as proud ladies while the rest — equally stunning in structure and expression — turned out to be males. 🌿 💚 Let’s talk about regular seeds and plant sex: Regular seeds are unsexed, meaning they can become either male or female. It’s a 50/50 genetic roll of the dice — and with unique mutant genetics like these, identifying sex isn’t always easy early on. Males typically show small pollen sacs, often referred to as “bananas” in their early stage. Females develop pistils, the first hairs of the flowers we’re after. Male plants, while beautiful and structurally fascinating (especially in this mutant project), can compromise a flowering room if left unchecked. Their pollen can fertilize female plants, leading to seeded buds — great if breeding, not great for clean flower. So, we say goodbye, thank them for their beauty, and move forward with the ladies to full bloom. The males? Hello guys😍😍 We have reached the 5th week of flowering. The plants are almost done with their longitudinal growth and most of the plant is focused on buds. I used overdrive fertilizer this week. The smell of the buds has increased a lot. And the buds have a stronger smell than the mother (cakes n cream) and give off a stronger OG smell😍 Because I increased the temperature difference between night and day, the color of the buds started to change. This week was all upgrades and preparing for a 2 week vacation where my gf would need to take care of the plants but that would end to almost killing all of them lol stay tuned.

Week 9, Day 63, Day 19 of Flower. Once again all is going well, she is doing nicely. Buds are starting to bulk and some nice colas starting to form. I am very pleased with how she is doing. After this coming week 4 of Flower I am going to switch to only KoolBloom 2-45-28 for 2 to 3 weeks at a 1/4 tsp/gallon. Any suggestions or comments?

Woche 10 ist gelaufen.... Es ist nicht viel passiert. Sie reift langsam vor sich hin. Die Trichome sind mir aber alle noch zu glasig, deswegen heißt es weiter warten und beobachten. Geruch ist mittlerweile "Normal Stark" und geht richtung Floraler Keksteig.

Hello, long time, no grow. I’m trilled to start on a new grow project, i’m away from growing a long time, but my love for ot was always present, i miss it a lot so i have got a few strains from Fastbuds to test and come back with a minimal setup. I have got the Festberry, Bluedream, and the 1:20 cbd, they have sent in the Banana Purple punch Ok, so what is a minimal setup? For this grow i have choose to grow in my balcony, it is fairly big and i gave good sunlight, we are in summer now, so temps are high, swinging a lot. It is raining often as well so I did not need to water much. For the nutrients i will go organic i think, in my substrate i have about 30% warm castings, so i’m good for till mid grow length +-, i might add a bit of nutrients in 30 days mark. The objective of this experiment is to use as little as possible, 360 degrees. For the germination process i have used a mixed process method, that i have learned from Fastbuds and i have loved it, 24h in a glass of filtered water, paper towel for about 24h -48h and then the Floraflex gremination pellets, i have tested on the jiffy and worked fine as well. Cool about this method, if you are more on the anxious side or like to control more the process this is the way, you can follow the hole process and see the development in parts. I will add images later on, for this breakdown. Well that is it, lets hope for a cool, safe journey for this girls. — The Blue dream i had germinated two and both look great so I have decided to keep two in one vase. Never done it, so let’s see what will happen.

Transplanted from a 4 litre pot to a 20 litre pot , she's growing really fast now so I'll switch to flower as soon as ive almost filled the tent .

Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I am starting to get concerned.... This girl should i've been in flower for a while now considering she is in such a small pot ( 1gallon ) ... i'm starting to think I'm going to have to flip her tonight... I'm starting to think she is not an autoflower...idk tho .. Herbies Seeds thank you for letting me showcase her. If indeed she is not an auto flower, I would not hold it against you as I know mother nature is unpredictable and nobody, not one breeder, out.There is perfect ... hopefully everything works out well.But she's running out of nutrients, because she should be flipped already.. I hope everybody's doing well.God bless and happy growing 🙏 ✌️. P.S i flipped her to 12 and 12 two days ago, and she is now starting her stretch, so this is not an auto flower... Especially being in such a small pot, she should be almost ready for harvest, and as you can see, she's running out of nutrients because the growdots our for a cycle of 5 weeks of veg not 9 or 10 ... i top dressed with more grow dots.We'll see how this pans out... Slt, semaine 4 qui se termine. Les plantes récupèrent du topping et de la défoliation qu’elles ont subies au tout début de la semaine,, peu être que je l’ai fait trop tôt, et pas correctement(voir photos) je ne sais pas. Pour la défoliation, j’ai enlevé les plus grosses feuilles seulement quand il y avait suffisamment d’autres petites feuilles pour que la plantes puissent continuer à capter l’énergie de la lumière. En tout cas les plantes semblent récupérer correctement, même si elles ne poussent pas trop en hauteur. Maintenant qu’elles ont cicatrisées, elles devraient reprendre leurs croissances. Voilà, à la semaine prochaine. Happy grow😎

7.14.25. Harvest was 7.13. Glad this grow is over time to finish up! Wet bud was 20.5 pretty much my smallest harvest ever! Bud looks decent is sticky and smells pungent a lot like gorilla glue. Will starting next grow in month or 2! Thanks for checking out grow!

Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better! Gorilla Z #2 - End of Month Finish She's still chugging along in mid-to-late flower. Based on her current progression, she should be ready by the end of the month. Current Status: Buds filling out nicely Still getting full-strength bloom nutrients Recovery from overwatering is complete—she's back to full health Feeding Schedule: Full strength General Hydroponics Bloom Trio Cal-Mag Liquid Kool Bloom She'll stay on this program for another week or two, then transition to water-only flush before harvest. The Flush Begins TODAY: Water only from here on out No more nutrients Flushing helps the plant use up stored nutrients in the leaves and buds Results in smoother smoke and cleaner taste Why flush? Removes excess salts and nutrients from the medium Forces plant to metabolize stored nutrients Improves final product quality (smoothness, taste, ash color) The leaves will fade and yellow—this is GOOD and expected during flush Current Status: Buds are dense and frosty Loving the Spider Farmer tent environment Healthy and vigorous despite approaching finish Key Observations & Real Talk Harvest #1 in the books! There's something incredibly satisfying about chopping your first plant of the cycle. All the work, the stress, the learning—it all comes together in that moment with scissors in hand.
