All plants are in good health and after the initial stretching during the first weeks of flowering stage they finally stop growing in high. I began to feed the girls once a week with molasses but it's too early to evaluate results. What I can say about molasses is that it's very sticky, super dense and quite tricky to mix with water. Plant #5 looks drinking less water the the other sisters, in fact the soil is less dry the the other and the pot is heavier. Apart from that plant is growing happily.

Flattened canopy a little by bending and gently cropping stems over several days. Dropped hours of light to 16 and switched to a spectrum more suited to flowers. Will give her one more week to prepare and develop. INFINITY Dodecahedron is the only platonic solids that has infinite numerical pathways. The Aether. Saturday I switched to 12, I forgot for a second this strain is 100% Sativa, I thought she wouldn't stretch much because the PPFD was high. Never noticed such an obvious change in temperament from a plant overnight, it has been a sleepy, lazy leaf veg cycle for the most part, there are no signs of flowers yet ofc, but just the way she exploded into a more satellite disciplined formation, ITS TIME, so it begins, no turning back now....... my poor electricity bill.

The ladies don't seem to be hungry that much. I slightly introduced them for the first time with some nutrients from General Hydroponics and CalMag.

So far, so good. Tops are fattening up slightly, stretch is well passed. The root ball in the reservoir is unreal. Figuring out feeding with this container is definitely a challenge. She's in full blown potassium and phosphorus deficiency status, but I've increased the dosage on fertilizer so I'm hoping to counteract that. It's already starting to work, I'm just timid about overdoing it.

44oz of plant food mix is given to 5 plants (3- Colombian Gold, 2- Grandaddy Purple). All 3 of the Alcapulco Gold plants are still receiving pH balanced water- no nutrients. They’re measuring 10” tall. Colombian Gold and Grandaddy Purple measurements range from: 12.5”-18.5”

The beginning of her tenth week! Wow, this has been a long one, but we figured that we want to get the best yield that we can from this plant and for grow scheduling, we don't mind letting this one veg out a little longer anyways. We really wanted to see what we could do with this plant and if we could in any way, reverse the stunted growth, but it seems to be a mixture of stress/genetics. We aren't fussing though, it has definitely been an interesting learning experience as we have gone along. Much earlier in the plants life, after topping, one of the nodes had been accidentally broken off and the plant seemed stressed out by that, as well as a transplant to a larger pot, only to find out it was too large for what we wanted to grow. At the end of the day though it has all been a fun learning experience and this is definitely a seed we would like to try and grow again. We have another Ice Wreck plant currently vegging (about two weeks) and if we like the pheno, we plan to keep it as a mother plant. Feb 26 - Ice wreck has shown some decent growth over the last few days so we figure that its time to stop vegging this one out, after 10 long weeks, and this sunday, at the beginning of her 11th week, we will be throwing her in the flower tent, to start the next part of her journey. We can't wait to watch this plant stretch during flower and see just what she is fully capable of. We expect a decent amount of growth, but nothing too crazy as she is a small plant to begin with.

The plants all look healthy going thru this first budding phase we are almost done with week 2 of flower which will end on wednsday. I bought some pot elevators, and tied apart a few tops growing closer together. All plants tops look even except the first split plant which has a few stretchers, Not to bad tho. I feed 2 times a week and the rest straight distilled water which reads 6.5 ph. Assuming my coco's natural ph balance is wearing slime starting week 3, I'm going to ph to 6.2.

We are almost at the magic moment, it is about to go into flowering and the vegetative phase is practically over in a few days. Our Purple Urkle by Zamensia is a very beautiful plant with a good internodal distance and is developing very very well. We have just done the last topping that brings her 16 tops, 16 small clones of the main cola that will come up I hope at the same time and all together and above all I hope that the cold will give us a great resin and a beautiful coloration. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The cuts of the topping slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit into over, it happened to her then you detach and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. It is a process that must be nuanced very delicately. Ideally it is to start by preparing the soil with fertilizer and add if necessary. I over-fertilized the plants a bit but it's something I've always managed very well once I got to flowering. Next time we'll add some fertilizer to the soil with this technique it's very suitable. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... We are always using soil, feeding and all the recommended additives from Plagron 100% organic, we have only lowered the amount of grow in this topping phase for the reasons mentioned above. ---- Decide on the right soil and calculate your fertilizer sheet based on the soil on the official website. -- www.plagron.com Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy.. ---- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/11168-zamnesia-seeds-purple-urkle.html Zamnesia Description // A direct descendant of a Mendocino Purps phenotype, Purple Urkle is a high-performance cultivar from Zamnesia Seeds. This feminized, indica-dominant strain is sure to win over any cannabis grower. With a THC content of 20%, Purple Urkle has a lot to offer from seed to harvest and beyond. A grape-flavored adventure, Suitable for indoors, outdoors or in the greenhouse, Purple Urkle is a very resilient strain. Growers will be impressed by how easy this cultivar can be managed. Purple Urkle can reach 120cm indoors and 160cm outdoors, but if you want more control over the height you can use the LST technique. Purple Urkle has fantastic flavors and aromas that intensify during the flowering phase. Regardless of the method of consumption, Purple Urkle offers tangy, fruity flavors that lean towards notes of grapes, berries and plums. The effects of this strain are soothing and relaxing, with uplifting sensations that make the experience suitable for any occasion, whether in a social setting or alone.
