Plants have really picked up on the vertical growth this week. I topped and tied a few more branches down. Some of the lower 5 fingered fan leaves on the GG4xZ have doubled the size of my hand!

Skywalker OG — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 2 — More Giants Enter The Galaxy First of all, once again, apologies for dividing this Skywalker OG harvest series into multiple parts. But honestly… there is simply too much happening here to compress everything into one single report without losing the individuality of these plants. This is not just one harvest. This is: * multiple giant plants * multiple phenotypic expressions * hundreds of photos * countless observations * trimming sessions * drying progression * resin collection * and eventually smoke reviews still to come So instead of rushing through it, we decided to properly catalogue this run the way it deserves. And honestly? These girls earned that respect. ⸻ Quick Recap — The 12/12 Galaxy This entire project was grown: 12/12 from seed with very little intervention. No heavy training. No aggressive shaping. No topping. Mostly: * gentle canopy opening * leaf tucking * minor defoliation * and allowing the plants themselves to naturally decide their structure And once again, this run keeps proving something fascinating: 12/12 from seed does not necessarily create huge tall plants… …but it can create incredibly efficient plants. Compact. Dense. Heavy. Productive. The only true giant-height exception in the room was the Ghost Train Haze that nearly reached two meters. But these Skywalker OG girls? They stayed more compact vertically while transforming themselves into absolute flower-producing machines. And honestly? That efficiency became ridiculous toward the end. ⸻ Heavy Enough To Collapse At this stage, all three plants reached the point where their own flower weight became difficult to manage. The branches simply cannot support themselves anymore. Support or no support… these girls are collapsing under pure mass. And honestly? That’s the kind of “problem” growers love having. Huge swollen colas. Dense flower stacking. Rock-solid buds. Resin everywhere. Exactly the type of structure that makes trimming both exciting and slightly terrifying at the same time. Because you already know: these are going to become extremely dense once fully dried. ⸻ Frost, Density & Structure One thing that keeps standing out over and over again with these Skywalker OG plants is the combination of: * density * frost * and sheer flower volume The flowers are not only big… they are compact. Very compact. The kind of buds where simply pressing lightly already tells you: “This is going to dry into rock-solid flower.” And visually? Absolutely beautiful. Bright swollen calyxes. Heavy trichome coverage. Long sugar leaves curling outward. Beautiful late-flower fading tones appearing everywhere. Every branch feels loaded. Top flowers. Middle flowers. Lower flowers. No wasted space. ⸻ Perspective & Scale We also wanted people to properly understand the actual size of these plants. Because sometimes photos alone can be deceptive. So throughout this session we kept including: * hands beside colas * Mr. Baggy appearances * hats * studio comparisons * and even the JBL speaker for scale references And honestly… some of these flowers make normal objects look small. These are serious colas. Not exaggerated internet “looks big in the photo” flowers. Actually big. Actually heavy. Actually difficult to hold comfortably after a while. ⸻ Mr. Baggy Continues His Internship Of course… Mr. Baggy stayed with us through the entire process again. At this point he’s basically part of the harvest crew. Always supervising. Always present. Always emotionally supporting the trimming sessions. And honestly? The studio moments with: * giant plants * giant colas * cameras * lights * resin-covered gloves * and Mr. Baggy sitting there in the middle of the chaos… became part of the memory of this run itself. ⸻ Charas — Living Resin One thing we absolutely loved once again during harvest was the amount of resin immediately collecting onto the gloves while handling fresh flowers. The moment fan leaves started coming off: * resin buildup started * fingers became sticky * gloves became greasy * and naturally… charas started forming again. And honestly, we really enjoy talking about charas because many people still don’t fully understand what it is. Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis resin collection in the world. Traditionally associated especially with regions of India and Nepal, charas is made by gently rubbing fresh living or freshly harvested cannabis flowers between the hands to collect the resin directly. Historically and spiritually, charas has deep connections with: * traditional medicine * spiritual rituals * Himalayan culture * and even Lord Shiva himself in many traditions. And honestly? There’s something incredibly beautiful about it. Because unlike dry sift or cured trimming resin… this is living resin. Fresh resin. Still full of life, moisture, oils, and volatile aromatic compounds. That’s why we personally separate this experience mentally from the later finger hash collected during dry trimming. Both are beautiful. But fresh charas feels: * softer * richer * oilier * more alive * and incredibly expressive terpene-wise This Skywalker OG produced amazing charas too. Dark. Greasy. Sticky. Easy to collect. The kind of resin that instantly tells you: “These plants are loaded.” ⸻ Full Plant Drying Just like the first plant, these girls are now drying whole. Entire plants hanging intact. We personally love this drying style because it slows the process slightly and helps preserve: * terpenes * moisture balance * aroma * and overall cure quality The drying conditions remain: First couple of days: * ~45% RH to help remove the heavier surface moisture from these extremely dense flowers. Then afterward: Remaining drying phase: * ~60% RH * 18–20°C for roughly: 7–10 days depending on how these massive flowers release moisture internally. Because honestly… with buds this dense, patience becomes extremely important. ⸻ Looking Ahead — Trimming Begins Soon The next reports will most likely focus heavily on: trimming And honestly? We already know these sessions are going to be intense. Because these plants are absolutely packed with: * dense flowers * resin * swollen calyxes * and heavy branching So yes… this series may realistically become: four parts or maybe even five. Week 27 december - 2 January Happy new year

did all the topping I plan to do and she's responding just fine. found a touch of fuzz on the old seed pod forming on the rockwool and removed it, as well as snipping off the internodal leaves that had some brown spots... and now she's clean and symmetrical! very definitely an improvement from a couple weeks ago :) did not do a full nutrient swap this week, so no pics or videos of the root system just yet... maybe mid week. tuned back the nutes just a tiny bit (mixed same nute in 1700 ml instead of 1500). not sure why, mostly instinct and to help keep it small (the whole point, really). she's fun to grow! if you've never tried a desktop nano grow... i highly recommend it 😊👌😺

Made it to week 3 of flower . She’s definitely flourishing . Very happy with how she’s been growing from the start . Some seriously good genetics .

Hello growers day 72 with the gorilla glue auto still Just feeding her letting her take her time she’s flowing abit slow but I gave her a crap start so just gonna let her take her time that’s it for this week so be safe and happy growing ✌️🏻

Todo viene muy bien, aplicamos LST a todas las plantas, exceptuando a 1 que no se que le pasa, presenta manchas en sus hojas y va mutando las manchas a todos los nuevos brotes. A la hora de hacer LST, a 1 de las plantas se le arranco una hoja y en otra de los plantas el tallo se quebró muy apenas, esperemos que no las estresen demasiado.

This week has been such a gift! I have learned so much about proper care for a plant I had no idea how little I knew sitting down and observing these majestic trees produce such a potent flower has really humbled me. Premium cultivars strain has shown resilient and self sustaining easy to grow traits that it is hard to mess up. (Which I’ve done a few times lol) Notice the trichomes (I put the zoom lens on and got up in there so they could be better seen the bud itself is slathered in them ! This is going to be an amazing smoke! Also looking at the structure of the bud it’s self it has volume very full bodied bracts with pistils throughout It’s just an all-around beautiful thing to observe

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is nice and compact and tight lots of leaves that I had too remove too open up her bud sites , stretch was also minimal ,

Alright, so she had a rather traumatic week. The pics won't show it, but here's what happened. I was supercropping her at the beginning of last week and all but snapped one of her lower branches, off. I taped it up and prayed... full recovery as of this post! The branch was wilting all week and all of a sudden the break point knuckled up and she began carrying on with bud development. She's been drinking nutes like a fuckin' fish. I've been watching the tips for burn, but it seems to be my nutrient regiment is right on the money. No burnt tips, just happy plant. Cheers all! 🍻 5-6 weeks until the chop! Ya gotta give Ethos a chance. Stellar run, EVERY time.

Drying

SO UPDATE GANG!!!! So this week was another great week, increased the water amount to a solid Gallon per plant watering every 2 days, going with only the Bloom and Sweetener now, other then that they are looking really really healthy, super super glad i decided to go with this nutrient line, FOOOP!!!!!! So sorry I wasn't able to keep up with diary been very busy with work and taking care of the kids and of course my lil babies lol had to turn the gorilla cookie to a somewhat outdoor plant but still fed daily with coco nutes and that boy is a beast prob like 3 weeks behind if that outdoors gonna decrease nutes on my indoor cuz she seems about ready can't wait super super sticky

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days.
