This will also hopefully result in a lower humidity level. Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. I think they've been under attack from the outdoor critters but trichomes all cloudy so may chop in a fee days before any budget has chance too appear as wheather is terrible atm! 🌱

My first grow has been a great learning experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Inizio settimana scorsa, ho fatto l ultima grossa defogliazione e pulizia di rami inferiori, le piante hanno reagito bene al forte stress, non ci sono segni di carenze o blocchi dovuti allo stress.Sembra che le piante apprezzino molto la tabella di marcia dei nutrimenti Canna. Prossima settimana aggiungerò il Pk 13/14 di Canna per iniziare a far gonfiare le cime. Per il momento è tutto bella gente, al prossimo aggiornamento🙏💚

Wochenbericht – Pflanzprojekt (12. Woche – 4. Blütewoche) In der zwölften Woche setzen die Pflanzen ihre Blütenentwicklung fort, doch die niedrigen Temperaturen bleiben eine große Herausforderung. Trotz aller Bemühungen ist es schwierig, ein konstantes Klima in der Box aufrechtzuerhalten. Um die Auswirkungen der Kälte zu minimieren, habe ich beschlossen, provisorisch einen Unterboden zu bauen, damit die Töpfe nicht direkt auf dem kalten Boden stehen. Dies sollte helfen, die Wurzeln besser zu schützen und die Temperatur in der Nähe der Pflanzen zu stabilisieren. Leider zeigen einige Blätter Anzeichen davon, dass sie von der Kälte betroffen sind. Dies äußert sich in leichten Verfärbungen und einer geschwächten Blattstruktur. Dennoch entwickeln sich die Pflanzen weiterhin vital, und die Buds zeigen langsames, aber kontinuierliches Wachstum. In den nächsten Tagen liegt der Fokus darauf, die provisorischen Maßnahmen umzusetzen und die Pflanzen so gut wie möglich vor der Kälte zu schützen, um die Blütenentwicklung zu fördern.

The buds weren’t the biggest I’ve grown, but this is hands down one of the stickiest strains I’ve ever cultivated. They’re absolutely drenched in trichomes and have a dense, heavy structure. This run produced two distinct phenos: the middle plant had a more indica-like structure with chunky, compact buds, while the others leaned toward a sativa-dominant, airier build. One of the highlights of this grow was the range of colors the plants showed off during flowering—super eye-catching. Trimming was a breeze too, thanks to a nice balance of sugar leaves that made the job quick and clean compared to some other strains. I’m storing the buds in a stainless steel, airtight container without using Boveda or similar humidity packs. Thanks to the DryFerm bags, the humidity has been holding steady at 61% RH, so there’s no need for extra regulation.

Everything is progressing normally. The weather is changing and temps outside are dropping so high temps in tent are no longer an issue. Other than the burnt tips from some sort of burn or defiency I have no complaints. I plan on harvesting BBK next week Wednesday. I fed them regular water right before taking the pics with 3 oz liquid worm castings mixed into 2 gallons. I have been feeding them each until first signs of run noff. The watering before this one (Sun 10/24) I gave them plain water, the one before that (Thur 10/21) I gave them the max dosage of what the general hydroponics 3 in 1 bottles recommend and didnt hold back like I normally do which is to give about half of what they recommend. It didn't appear to affect the plant to much as far as burn, the tips were already fried and the sclerosis didn't progress. I will flush the BBK this Friday and prepare her to harvest next Wed or Friday. I can't wait!!

I think I planted a little early as the tap root was only just about 1/4 of an inch. I have my lights and fans on to test my environment but I don’t think they’re needed until some green growth appears. The Great White Mycorrhizae I am hoping will help with root growth in the early stages of vegetation.

God willing hopefully after this week we can start harvesting this plant kinda over her now. I have other plants that need the tent she is in lol welp fingers crossed

Used too much bloom nutes and some top leaves were starting to yellow so I flushed and have Been gentle since Few days later it was t from nutrients it could actually use a little more the lights I have were putting 1700-1800 ppfd on top canopy and was cooking my leaves I lowered the plant so it would get 1200 ppfd on top and it’s back to normal
