End of week 5 - Night 41 Added a couple videos, one from the side of the buds and one from the back (LST) things are going well for this plant now, it may only be 15-18cm but its flowering stronger than my other plants. the smell is just getting more pure and strong every day :) and its getting frostier too :D so excited! I have to grab myself a magnifying glass of sorts on monday to try and estimate when harvest will be :o

In my first few grows, I was hitting around 30 grams of dry weight, my buds weren't "fattening up", and I was underwhelmed by my results. So, I started again, and I've completely rebuilt my grow area. Lessons learnt: 1. Light REALLY REALLY REALLY matters! I started out by using a 35w led panel. I then "upgraded" to a cheap 100w grow light. I thought these would be good enough, and to some extent they were. However, since the rebuild, I invested in a Mars Hydro TS1000, which was significantly more expensive than the other two. I'm absolutely astounded by the results. If you're starting your grow journey, buy the best you can afford. The light is the most important part of the build, and if you get that right, the rest is a doddle. 2. Tents are worth the money. I originally had my stealth grow up in the loft, but have instead bought a small budbox tent, and that, combined with the light, has made a huge difference to the maintenance of a stable growing environment. For the first time, I am seeing fat buds, and it's a thrill. I at last know what people mean now when they say their buds are fattening up, because mine are visibly 2 or 3 times bulkier than those of my first 4 or 5 grows. And there's a lot of them. Previously I'd get the main bud on the main stem, and some smaller buds around that. My smaller buds are now almost equal in size to my main before, and my main makes me drool. I cannot wait to harvest. 3. Control pH. Stay on top of this, and keep it in the optimal range to the best of your ability. Buy a chap pH meter, and do your measures regularly. Make adjustments to the best of your ability. This means doing maths, and I've yet to get a formula that works well enough to be precise in terms of weights and measures of up/down agents, but small changes rather than wild swings are the way forward. 4. Try not to stress your girls out. I've had two grows go hermie on me. Too much LST, too much chopping and too much variation in conditions - water, nutrients and environment. 5. Don't give up. I'm not much of a smoker, but I so very much enjoy being a gardener. There's something deeply satisfying in knowing that you are getting it right. Sort of plays to my competitive nature. I'll take some pictures later, and show you what I mean.

Creo que en seco rondarán los 40/50 gs entre las 2 pero no lo sabremos hasta el día de la verdad. Llevan ya el lavado de raíces rapidísimo se le echó el tiempo encima y les di agua esta semana. Veremos también si no varía el resultado final al ser un Corte tan temprano. 11/24: Both Black Jacks finally turned the corner and are looking like they'll produce for me.👍 The big Zkittlez just keeps on stretching and outpacing most of the other plants....looks like a supercropping is in her immediate future. Kinda sux, because she's got picture-perfect, textbook, conifer structure😑 11/25: Had to raise the lights today about 5 inches to accommodate the big Zkittlez and a Sucrose Overdose..couldn't bring myself to ugly her up yet..maybe everybody else will catch up (ya right) For now, I'm using platforms of various heights for the shorter plants, to keep the canopy level.

The girl grow pst the circumference of the 5 gallon pot. She is steadily growing on the top, fan leaves look thick and bright green. The stem is growing in girth. I fed her some stump tea along with a gallon of feed water at the end of this week. Let's see how she reacts to it. I have been super cautious in increasing her feed. Since she is growing in soil, I waited until she is a month old before loading her with nutrients. Concerns for this week: This plant is getting real bushy, the fan leaves are pretty big. Its gonna b casting plenty shade in a week ot two. Little bit concerned about light distribution to all parts of the plant. The fan leaves are so big, I am not sure how to begin LST on her. Need to read up more on it. Onward and upward!!

The girls are growing up and doing well, despite the crazy heat we've been having lately. Cheese and Pineapple have turned into two little monsters! I'm really happy with the result!

Another strong week here. The blumats are working well at this point so the girls get adequate water intake. She continues to fatten up, hairs ripen up. The trichomes are really building at this point. And the bud to leaf ratio is very good at this point. This whole run has a repeating theme, I need a cloner to keep some of these cuts

Hey Growmies! I'm thrilled to share my latest project: two exceptional grow environments, each a lush green haven with 9 plants on plant rollers. We’re employing a blend of Scrog (Screen of Green) and Sog (Sea of Green) techniques. Each plant has its individual ScroG, directly connected to its air-pot, facilitating easy mobility and care within the tent. As the Room is on the cooler side at the moment, I've set up a Solea infrared heater, controlled by an Inkbird ITC-308 temperature controller, to maintain a cozy climate. Each tent is also equipped with a Spider Farmer Cool Mist humidifier for perfect humidity levels. Initially, I planned for identical setups in both tents, but adaptation is crucial. I encountered a challenge with the UR45 lights due to their single plug and UV/IR switches. To overcome this, in Tent 1, I’ve installed two UR45 lights: one dedicated to IR and the other to UV, each managed by a Meross smart plug. The Mars Hydro app manages the light and in-line fan controls in Tent 2, though it has its limitations. The ITC-308 takes care of the infrared heater, while the humidifier regulates itself. I'm really into this setup, but I'm already thinking about upgrading to a single grow controller for all devices. Excitingly, ‘Epic Buzz’ in Tent 1 is competing in the Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge sponsored by Trolmaster, who has also sponsored a Tent X Controller for this tent. Progressing nicely, after a rough two weeks. Flushed her with Ph water and she came back nicely. Yellowing and a few crispy leaves way under her skirt. Her buds are small but plentiful.

Temperature is very high. 28-30° Celsius. But she is managing. She is stretching so much, I don't know where to take lights, but I still have about 10-15 cms to lever. I don't know what kind of monstrosity is this, but I love it ❤️ Day 44 Refilled with 5 liter + nutrients Defoliated some leaves for better light access. Buds are forming, can't wait for it to start exploding Day 45 I changed the light schedule from 20/4 to 18/6 due to high temperatures outside. It gets really hot where the tent is. Refilled with 5 liters and nutrients. I was right about hot weather, it is the cause of so muh water consumption. Here are some photos from different angles. Crystals are visible. I can even see them shining on bigger leaves, but in smaller amounts. Day 46 Traditionally added 5 liters with nuts, did not add Grow - First part today, I am experimenting checking on PPM, I think she is not eating all the Grow part and goes in to overdose. Saw couple leaves with burnt tops, but all really is fine, it's not even an issue rn. Added ventilation, made myself from old nonworking portable air heater. Removed coils and everything, and keft onlt Fan inside. Can't wait to see her explode, I think she is planning to do it quite soon. I am amazed by how low smell she has right now, even though temperature is high enough, around 28-30 degree celsius. Day 47 Refilled with 5 Liters I saw difference between yesterday buds and today buds size. I think she will go turbo in the en of the week or in next week. I think I got the temperature under control. Possibly, I will remove one or two hours from schedule, but I really don't want to. But if weather continues to push so hot, I think it will be the only option. Day 48 She is starting to smell sweet 😍 Refilled with 5 liters She is getting covered in glitter all around Day 49 Final day of the week Refilled with 5L. I will need to top up some nutrients.
