Cannopy filling out nicely. Using the odd bud clip here and there, using the net as well to even out the spacing. Height growing quick these days! Top dress this week, Gaia Green AP/PB, mixed with compost and added some insect frass this time. Heavier on PB for 10g, heavier on AP for Hugel. Weekly silica and monster maxx as well, drip irrigation and weekly spray of LCPT. Smaller 10g is flowering, slow starting, not sure she's fully made up her mind, drying out quickly though! Barely made it 3 days, heat wave for a few days, will have to boost the irrigation maybe 30mi each morning through it.

Looks like a promising sturdy but surprisingly tall plant. I thought BK was supposed to stay on the shorter side. Regardless I'll enjoy watching her grow & hopefully she'll reward me with beautiful flower. The BK flower I previously had was my go-to night time if I had a migraine strain - worked every single time. I hope this one is the same.

i was on holiday for 14 days and left the plant to its own (AUTOPOT takes care of that) and when i came home i was amazed. it tolerated the topping very well and is now twice as tall as it was two weeks ago. i topped it again straight away. so 4 times in total this time. if it continues to grow like this, it will be a monster in october. a few leaves are already bigger than my hand. unfortunately i broke one stem with light LST, which is why i'm not using the LST after all. i hope it recovers from the injury. 😵💪

D67 removed ScrOG and repeated LST on left plant so lower buds will get more light. There is not enough space in tent to do the same with the right plant.

58 Days have passed in flower. Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower. I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue. Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try. I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water. pH'd to 6.6. I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more. I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

D35: strain is very fast not sure how soon harvest will be but it'll be around day 50 I'm assuming. Nice colours from the recent cool nights. Buds are nice and look very easy to trim. Comparable so far to a few of the other ones I've grown like the Big Kush.

THEY ARE JUST DOIN THEY THANG ON4NEMGRAVE

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. She’s 10 weeks into flowering and some of her trichomes are starting to turn cloudy and no signs of amber yet. This means that she’s probably still got a few more to go and I’m still feeding her like normal. The stress from the previous automation fails may have resulted in her slowing down bud production, but her genetics led her to bounce back fast and with help from Bio Heaven, she was able to recover a lot faster with heat too. Now we let her fatten up and check trichomes soon :)

Day 89 I need to get a microscope ASAP. I need to start monitoring the trichomes. They smell so fruity, it’s amazing. Day 91 Now that the temperature and humidity are staying controlled, you can really see them producing an insane amount of trichomes. They look incredible! Day 92 Got my macro lens for my phone today. Pictures were meh 🤷‍♂️🏼 I know they aren’t near ready yet, so I think I’ll need to get myself an old fashion microscope to check Day 93 Added some water today! Still looking great!

girls smell sweet and are stacking like right on top of one another. I had to splay her out and thin some leaves to ensure good airflow. This is the Wedding cake XL so I am starting to see what the buds are going to looks like on this one. Can't get over the fresh sweet smell.

Continued with the ripen only this week. Going to water with it one last time that would be 10 days using the ripen. Going to start the flush with canna flush! The blueberry has started fading out nicely. The smell coming from these plants are amazing. Can't wait to chop the girls down. My anxiety is going crazy wait on this girls. Week 7, one more week and i will harvest this precious girls, they dont require lot of attention and even slightly less nutrients would have done the trick! I still have 1 of these ladies in veg so i now what to expect and what to do! Great strain, very generous with very little attention, the perfect strain, a very nice sweet smell, it reminds me of candy very sweet, its going to be delicious for sure!

Everything is good, they were a little hungry this week and lost some lower leaves due to mobile deficiency but I did feed twice and problem resolved itself. I plan to defoliate the canopy to some extent this week. Light is at 100% now. Mimozz is smelling sooo good - it's crazy. I love it and can't wait to try some rosin from this strain. On the other hand - Strawberry Cough is not smelling at all. The rest of them are smelling good but nothing special to report :) Till the next week, cheers!
