12 weeks from seed, no topping

So far so good :). Cantaloupe haze needed more runoff as leaves were clawing.

Hi people :-) Today the update of the Blue Gelato # 41 🌱. She looks very healthy and vital 👌. It has grown very nicely this week. I only uploaded 2 of the same videos for testing, once in 4 K and once in HD. Since the last videos of the quality were unfortunately not so good when you watched them on the PC. I hope this bug is now fixed, otherwise it is because of my apps etc. Tomorrow there will be a few more pictures, because unfortunately I only came to the videos today. That's a hell of a lot of work that comes with growing, and still work in everyday life 😅. Buds fattening up🤟I think in about 3-4 for more weeks will be harvest time 🔥

June 30, 2020 update: Fast Buds Cream Cookies... I have a total of 4 Cream Cookies going right now - 2 outdoors and 2 indoors. All 4 have started to start showing small bud sites in the last week. I still consider this part of the vegetative stage personally. Once I've seen the stretch occur and also see dime sized buds, then I consider the plant to be in flower. The 2 indoors are bigger with more nodes and bushier overall. They are growing on a 19/5 light cycle under a 315w CMH. I feed them all the same regimen of nutrients (Fox Farm Trio at 75% recommended strength). If its raining, the indoor plants may get an extra feeding. We have gotten a lot of (much needed) rain this week so I think I've only fed once in the past week, but they seems to love the fresh rain too. The outdoor plants are 16-20" in height, the indoor are 20-22" in height. I have one indoor and one outdoor plant that both show some discoloration on the leaves. When I look it up it looks most similar to Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) and there does not seem like there is much that can be done for TMV. I'm just gonna let them rock and see how they turn out. At this point my prediction is for a larger yield indoors, but I'm hoping for a better flavor and high from the outdoor. I may also bend them all over at a 45 degree angle this week. I'll be using LST this time, instead of HST. The HST I performed on the Lemon Cream Kush seemed to be too harsh for her and had me worried for several days afterwards. Thanks for checking in! D4 - YES! We have lift-off!!! Today both seeds poked up. BOOM! Yesterday, I also put in my new humidifier in the tent, and man, this little thing is a BEAST. The amount of water vapor it is able to push out is insane. I use an Inkbird controller to... ummm... control the humidifier so that the humidity in the tent is 80% plus/minus 5%. I'm planning on running this high humidity for the first week or so and then dropping it down. D5 - I adjusted the light to 80 cm (about 31") above the canopy, resulting in 300 μmol/m2/s at canopy level. A bit high as I usually keep it around 250, but it should be alright, I think. D6 - The left girl, #1, seems to have died. Her leaves never fully emerged from the seed, and now she is entirely wilted, laying on the soil. So yeah, she is a gonner, I think. No idea what happened since she looked okay yesterday, and the other girl is already 5 cm (2") tall. Strange, but there's a first for everything, I guess. I already have a new seed soaking in water to be planted tomorrow. She'll then be six days after the other girl, and while probably noticeable at first, I don't expect any real problems during the grow. Hopefully, it'll germinate, but if not, c'est la vie. D7 - After soaking the seed for 24 hours, I rolled it in myco, and planted it in the first pot. However, I removed and replaced some soil in the center of the pot before planting, just in case something was wrong with the soil. Fingers crossed that this one will germinate just fine. On the other hand, the second girl is doing her thing just fine. I removed her humidity dome, though, as the RH in the tent should be high enough. D11 - End of the first week of veg and the third seedling popped up. BOOM! Now let's hope this girl survives, considering that the first girl in that pot died. On the other hand, the second girl is thriving; already 9 cm tall and 6 cm wide. Her first set of true leaves is slightly twisted but not too severely, and the second set looks fine. She is a bit leggy, so I added a couple of toothpicks for support. I have been asked in DM why I have Avocados on top of the soil. The reason is simply for feeding my worms and encouraging breeding. Another strong week, defoliation stress was near non existent and she bounced back fast. Buds are forming nicely and a stronger smell is emitted when I open my door along with the plant being sticky to the touch.

Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. . Its that time of week again for our weekly update. I'm more than sure now that this is a photo seed rather than an auto seed, it's still continously growing rapid and big but no sight of flowering at the moment, I may have to give it another week or 2 before I switch the light to 12/12 to start her flowering stage. But so so pleased with her progress.

I had to top Cantaloupe haze and White widow as they were too close to the lights and I didn't want to loose any ppfd on my lowers. My GSC seems perfect for not topping. next time I would top those strains at least once. I have been flushing the CH and getting run off around 1200ppm which seems like the max she can take the others like it stronger so I have been flushing them every 2-3 days. CH is tough to keep happy but will continue to monitor. All plants are in week 4 of flower 12/12 from seed.

These did great on autopilot, of the 6 plants, these 2 are definitely my favorite.. a simple 4way LST when all tops come in level makes me happy 😻. they're still a little too dark/overfed so we're going super light for a while.. We raised the Solux350 a few inches as well, they're stretching fast... all other plants were showing early signs of cal-mag def so we adjusted strengths for everyone.. We have the Solux350 at 75% power, we'll keep it here until their flowering stretch is over and finish out at 100%...I'm really curious to see if resin production using 2835pro/Osram combo is comparable to what 301b/Osram does.. Todo se ve muy bien por aquí hasta ahora, ya empezamos engorde. Esperemos cómo van respondiendo la siguiente semana que aumente las dosis. Muy feliz con los resultados obtenidos hasta ahora. Si que vale la pena dedicarles tiempo y ser paciente con el proceso. Seguramente la próxima semana iniciaré otros diarios con una cacería con unas regulares, una automática y otra feminizada junto a un esquejé de esta white widow que pude hacer.

This week i defoliated a bit, as i wanted to have more light reach lower parts of the plant to increase bud sights and increase air flow through out the plants. Also I put in the net again in a nother attempt to even out the cannopy which didn't really work

The buds weren’t the biggest I’ve grown, but this is hands down one of the stickiest strains I’ve ever cultivated. They’re absolutely drenched in trichomes and have a dense, heavy structure. This run produced two distinct phenos: the middle plant had a more indica-like structure with chunky, compact buds, while the others leaned toward a sativa-dominant, airier build. One of the highlights of this grow was the range of colors the plants showed off during flowering—super eye-catching. Trimming was a breeze too, thanks to a nice balance of sugar leaves that made the job quick and clean compared to some other strains. I’m storing the buds in a stainless steel, airtight container without using Boveda or similar humidity packs. Thanks to the DryFerm bags, the humidity has been holding steady at 61% RH, so there’s no need for extra regulation.
