8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden.

Another week is over. I haven't had much time and this week has been really busy, but here we go... apparently the girls are doing well. They've been eating a lot, they're looking pretty and they smell really delicious... Happy growing! 🌱🌱🌿

Es war eine sehr regnerische und teils stürmische Woche. Diese Zeit wird bei uns "Schafskälte" genannt, die Zeit, in der früher die Schafe bereits geschoren waren und dann eine kurze Kälteperiode eintrat. Sehr wechselhaftes windiges Wetter jedenfalls. Fruit Bomb Punch ist ohne Stütze gut gewachsen und ist insgesamt sehr buschig geworden. Die Erhöhung der Düngemenge in der Flüssigdüngung hat sie gerne angenommen. Bisher läuft es wie gewünscht, keine Defizite, keine Probleme, so kann es weitergehen. Vielen Dank für euren Besuch!

NEW WEEK 7 OF FLOWERING COOKIES GELATO BY RQS Woohoo soooooo excited 💪🏻🤯🤘🏻 I am normally not so excited with certain things but these grows have definitely made me get excited every new week . It also calms me down a little bit with stress and helps calm my nerves somewhat. Also I am normally not very talkative to others but with the nice community of growers we have here it makes you want to start conversations and it helps knowing you won't get trolled etc . Tomorrow First day update Day 42 cookies gelato Hallo guys/girl's not a lot to say it's a waiting game now. i can take 100 of the same photographs but it gets a bit boring so I will update every day but maybe not ram it full with photos . The cookies gelato are doing good getting frosty but has a way to go for sure and they are drinking a lot and i spilled a lot sometimes getting to back plants but luckily Tray Keep Clean a removable waterproof floor tray to hold soil and fallen leaves. The tray can be taken out easily to wash. Removable and water-proof cleaning easy.👌🏻 ! I made Video again so enjoy 🤘🏻🤘🏻. Come look at my other diaries! OCTOBER 18th to OCTOBER 24TH Sunrise: 08:31 | Sunset: 18:50 | Total Daylight: 10:19 Weather over the past week saw several consecutive days of full cloud cover and rainy periods. Greenhouse has held temperatures during the day, and only dropped below 10C once (Day 168). Good periods of sun on Day 167 and 168, with the forecast looking sunny for the next few days. I suspect that will help along the ripening process as the plants process nutrients from the fan leaves during the fade. There hasn't really been any issues with humidity levels, as it has hovered in and around 40% to 45% RH Both Lemon Orange specimens are near ripe, with many trichome heads cloudy, some clear, and few amber. Suspect it is a matter of days before they are ready to be harvested. DAY 162 2L of plain rainwater (cold) applied to all but Lemon Orange #2 (1L for this specimen). DAY 163 n/a DAY 164 15C in greenhouse in the morning; Cloudy and cool day overall, but greenhouse holding temperatures above 19C and plants are clearly going through senescence. DAY 165 Steady rain overnight, with armer temperatures; Greenhouse held overnight at 17.5C and 50% RH. Cool, cloudy and rainy day (high of 9C, 97% RH, but greenhouse and the associated equipment performing as designed and holding temperatures at 19.5C with humidity ranging from 40% to 45%. DAY 166 Cool and rainy overnight (6C intermittent light rain). Greenhouse held to 16.5C and 41% RH. Noticed some droop so provided 1L of plain rainwater (cold) via drip in the afternoon to each specimen and everyone perked up thereafter. Temperatures reached 19C for much of the day, with 43% humidity. Temperatures outdoors were a high of 7C, with 80% humidity (or more) during the day. Remained overcast for much of the day, but there was a couple of periods of increased brightness. Plants are doing well, all fading; Lemon Orange #1 is nearing full ripeness, and has displayed blue-ish purple tints in upper sugar leaves. and smells of sweet citrus. A few lower leaves are yellowing, but it hasn't progressed to fan leaves near the top of the plant. Pistils are all wilted and receded into calyxes (and have been for several days). Upon inspection, clear trichome heads outnumber cloudy ones, and there are very few if any amber ones. Lemon Orange #2 is furtherest along in senscence and is soon to drop lower leaves. Upper fan leaves are slowly fading from green to yellow. Flowers are large and comparable to Lemon Orange #1 and #2 of the Summer of 2024, have very good trichome production and smell strongly of lemon with an earthy background. Pistils have largely wilted, however those at the apex of flowers are still white. Calyxes have plumped, but they're not quite ripe yet. Upon inspection, clear trichome heads outnumber cloudy ones on calyxes, while at edge of sugar leaves there are quite a few amber heads. DAY 167 Overnight low of 2C, greenhouse held at 12.5C and 41% RH. After a cloudy cool morning, the sun broke through and warmed up the greenhouse shortly after the noon hour. Exhaust fan even came on intermittently to reduce temps below 24C. Humidity was ideal all day, in and around 40%. After noting some droop, applied 1L of plain rainwater (cold) via drip to both Lemon Orange specimens. This may be the last watering of the season. I think it will be possible to decommission the irrigation system for the winter over the coming weekend. I can pull 20L of water for use either for this crop and/or the mother tent. Lemon Orange #1 will be ready any day, but clear trichome heads still outnumber cloudy ones. Purpling of upper parts of flowers in sugar leaves and calyxes is progressing, with some yellowing of fan leaves starting to move up the plant. Flowers appear ripe with pretty much all pistils wilted and receded into their calyxes, but trichomes do not. DAY 168 Greenhouse 9.5C (-2C outside) in the morning with 40% RH. Sunny morning, with greenhouse warming to over 10C by 9:30AM; Exhaust fan kicked in to hold temperatures at 24C just before the noon hour. Both Lemon Orange specimens are showing cloudy trichomes outnumbering clear ones, and outside of the margins of sugar leaves, there are few amber trichomes present. Both plants are a mere few days away from harvest.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

Dropped light hours down to 16 . Topped off nutrient solution with 5.0 ph evened out .removed none chosen phenos to be flowered in separate room no longer tracking those we will only follow the chosen mothers clones i cut clones today as well had the lady friend clean floor with bleach and dawn put clones in ez cloner 32 systems

Sorry lovelies, I've been a bit lazy with my diary the last few days. This is probably due to the brilliant effect of Dark & Big Devil 😈, which slowly reach their full potency through exact curing. Incredibly pleasant feelings, all day long. I'm super chilled, stimulated, but not tired for the time being. But now I don't want to keep you in suspense any longer and talk a little bit about the care last days, with my "Long-Life-Automatic" ;-)) Sour Jealousy. A few days ago, my relatively new oscillating ProFan started to rattle. After all, it always got stuck in one place. So I went to get another oscillating fan (RAM) for my new home box. In the process, I developed a new ventilation strategy. The ProFan can't turn anymore, but at least it's wonderfully straight! ;-) so in the future he will aerate the plants around the 20 l fabric pots in a well-circulating manner. Since the new Home Box has a height of 2.20 m, there may even be one more fan in the grow space. What I want to say is the following: I have now implemented this idea in the 80 box for a few days and the plant reacts excellently. The only important thing is that the draught indirectly envelops the root area. I have the impression that it works even more efficiently, like a machine. Also, I really have to say that I've never experienced such a voracious sativa phenotype before. Namely, one that literally eats the hair off my head. 🤣 The harvest of the two Sweet Seeds seems like a long time ago. I didn't expect such a long "overtime" either. However, I am happy to have received so much new input. You never stop learning. I assume that it will take about 2 weeks from now on, until the harvest. Again, she takes her time. Incredible. So many white hairs more. She now greases the grapes nicely, just a sativa monster! 👺 And eats and eats and eats. The colas are fully stocked from bottom to top and the scent almost robs me of the little sanity I have left. 🤣 The diameter of the main stem is 4.5 cm. Absolute record so far. I have also bought new supply air systems, and a Flexi-Tray as a protective pan for the Home Box. I even managed to get hold of fixture poles to be able to use the Home Box more efficiently. Among other things, I have significantly improved the recirculating air situation. I think every ambitious grower should think twice about this: the convection! An important topic, in my opinion. In my case, this means one in the root area, one oscillating on the leaf roof and one at lamp height to distribute the heat better. I also let the compost tea ferment for almost 40 hours and each time half an hour before pouring, a level teaspoon of Bactrex was added - with full aeration. Thus, the soil life literally explodes and works...! And I combine it with the Bio PK Booster from Biotabs. I like the combination of both. I use the PK Booster in a slightly lighter dosage than indicated. Because my tea version, I think, hits quite a bit every time. After all, it says: “Stop feeding your plants, start feeding your soil.” Organic farming - my passion to grow! Soon I will redeem my darling... Looks very juicy! Maybe tomorrow sun again until Monday and from Monday morning 48 hours of absolute darkness with full circulating air and exhaust air circulation. I think you can't use a HS 80 more efficiently. I'm enjoying the last few days with my good old Secret Jardin HS 80. It offered me excellent quality and quantity. The material was disproportionately well processed at the price level. Only the corners I reinforced with self-adhesive aluminum foil. And what I find so cool about my Hydro Shoot is and was: It’s ideal for bedroom cultivation. But it's really time for a technology change.
