Beautiful week of growth, caught up with the progress photos compared to last year at this time 💪🏽🙏🏽 We’ve started to blast past the pepper plants now, it only took 2 weeks! Since we’re into the beginning of flower we’ll be adding in the Advanced Nutrients this week to boost flavor and bud formation. Got the hay laid down as you can see and the medium to heavy rains this week are making my job of hand watering this whole garden way easier. Did some defoliation on the lower fan leaves and any early low bud formations that looked like they might not amount to much in the end. So excited to keep sharing photos of how they all progress! [ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

These cali genetics are blowing my mind 🤯 super sticky, very frosty rock dence buds with extra strong smells. All 3 strains are 10 out of 10, very impressed. Done last defoliation few days ago, preparing for the harvest so it's much easier. Stalks are super fat, same as buds. Got big surprise from Atami, plant food, and many extras. Crazy. Thanks a lot guys. 💚 Start adding you Bloombastic food already. They love it. Smell is mad. I think most of plants ready in week or so.

Plants recovering well …heat is causing some problems in the indica room otherwise all is well …1 more week till flush then 1 more week after that til harvest

420Fastbuds FBT2313/Week8 What up what up grow fam. Weekly update on these two frosty girls. They both are maturing nicely at the flower sites. Starting to smell super pungent. Still keeping up the same routine for the next week or two before I'll start checking trichs. All in all Happy Growing

This week I finally completed the RDWC system. Everything is working how it suppose to. The chiller is set to 66 degrees Fahrenheit. Also I start adding 1000ppm CO2. Lighting intensity ( Fluence Spydr 2i) is set to 75%.

I saw a fly in the tent about 10 days ago. The larvae of these flies feed on the roots of the plant. I first watered it with diluted hydrogen peroxide. then i flushed. now the ladies are fine. 🤓🌱🤓👍👍

🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, daily photos of the plant will be posted! 📸🌱 Day 62 - Last-Minute Decisions with Urgent Changes 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. Week 4 transplanting 2 today

WEEK 1 - 23/7/2021 - 30/7/2021 My 6th grow! I've managed to finally build a reliable RDWC system. It has been put on hold for nearly a year now. My primary concern is flooding when I'm not around. Another if there is any blackout affecting the water/air pump.  I've had the system on test run for a week now and it has been fantastic. No leak whatsoever! I'm so glad I decided to go with all PVC pipes and bulkheads rather than using vinyl tubing for the waterfall outlet. So far so good! Can't wait to transplant into the system. :) 20/7/2021 - 2 packs  of Harlequin seeds from Weedseedexpress (5 + 1), 12 seeds soaked in 10ml/L of Nitrozyme for the next 24 hours. 21/7/2021 - All 12 seeds transferred to paper towel and soaked with Nitrozyme and placed in humidity dome. 23/7/2021 - Only 5 out of 12 seeds germinated. But all 12 transplanted to small rockwool cubes, soaked with Nitrozyme mix water then placed in humidity dome. I accidentally cut one of the cotyledon while removing the shell. 27/7/2021 - 1L of water mixed with the following: Rapid start - 1ml/gal - 0.3ml Hydroguard - 2ml/gal - 0.5ml 30/7/2021 - It has been a slow start and the seedlings have been showing signs of nutrient burn. Out of 12 seeds only 4 properly germinated and even that is showing issues. I don't have a good feeling about these seed genetics. I'll give another week to see the growth response.

Only 2 Pistles are showing very early flower. Plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller this is a genetic issue I think. Going to a different breeder next run. I think they are white label genetics.

harvest day for the AK47 and Amnesia Haze

This Gelat.OG has some long legs on her. She is stretching and opening up to make some nice buds. She was quick to transition and start building some little budlets. I am going to keep an eye on her might supercrop some tops if she keeps stretching the way she is. Will be starting them on some liquid Koolbloom next week. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp maxigro .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid.

Its a chillig week, i think she grow very well. Loved how big she turn. Soon its time for flower 👀

For the germination process I ,First put the seeds in distilled water ph 6.5 for 24 hours . Let them float for the first 12 hours in a warm (dark) place . I used my grow tent temperature inside was 75 degrees and 50%humidity through out the entire process . After first 12 hours I poked the seed to the bottom of the cup and let them set for the finale 12 hours . After the full 24 hours was up . I placed the seed’s on a plate with paper towel first and second I added water to the paper towel (moist not wet) and placed a seeds on top with another moist paper towel and let go back in the tent for 2 more days After two days the tap roots appeared for each seed so I potted 2-3 into there finale medium . Didn’t have enough soil for all 3. Once potted. Plants 🌱 are given 18 hours of light 💡

So all the pictures that I posted on this week's diary are just pretty much random. The only thing I did for this week was give more toppings so each plant was topped four times. As of now, each plant will have a total of eight main colas, if I don't do anymore tops that is... I didn't have time today to really do a detailed post on every cultivar and the difference between phenos. so for week 6 I'll do a detailed cover of my girl so I'll do a female comparison for each breeder and cultivar!!
