December was a very busy month for me and my family but I was able to take a couple pictures as they progressed into flower. I am aware these autos are taking longer than normal and I'm thinking it was caused by my room temps. the next round of plants are explosive in growth since they have been raised up with the heat and air functioning correctly. I am still nursing this round of plants to finish and am extremely happy with the terps that they are throwing down. royal queen is a company I will for sure try again. i also added Gaia green power bloom as a top dressings right at the start of pistils showing. my next round consists of 420fastbuds , seedsman, and speed run seeds.

👽We are continuing. I will not rush to transfer to flowering, I want to try to make the maximum circle (if there is enough space in the box). 💪🏻 I continue to give power root, pure zym, sugar royal. I will water more often, every 2 days. 🦈I will give Fish force 1 times a week. 😤Oops, we had a pickle on the 38th day. I neglected to constantly measure the PPM level, and he gave me 1100. I spilled 400ppm (150 calmag + A + B) on the entire volume of the pot. And immediately after that I gave him 750, as usual, with all additives except fish.

Well here we are day 78 and she looks like she's got probably three or four weeks left.. I will say this she's starting to give off a smell that smells exactly like real blueberries.. I never thought I would say that but it literally smells like blueberries unbelievable I can't wait for this harvest to come.. I don't know if it's because I'm doing such a small pot grow but she's showing lots of deficiencies of everything I try flushing thinking possibly a nutrient lockout but then again I always feed to run off.. so what I'm going to do is just feed her for the next week week and a half and then just give her water for a couple weeks I feel like she's going to flush very quickly due to the small amount of medium.. hope everyone's having a great day and their plans are thriving .. Happy growing ✌️😎. Day 82 and today I gave her 3 gallons of water to give her a real good flush as I see about 5 to 10% Amber.. I might give her one more 3 gallon flush and a couple days and then chopper after she dries.. hope everyone's doing great and their girls are doing great as well happy growing ✌️

Still growing strong actively. In particular Ryu developed lots of newly freshly white pistils but also the lower bud sites started to grow significantly. Fingers crossed that this will grow smoothly towards the end. The emergency harvested branches were ok but way to soon of course. At the same time they haven’t been very big either so I guess the impact on final harvest won’t be as big/maybe even beneficial as for air flow, nutrient supply etc for the rest of the branches. Also those I harvested have been excluded by my counting so far as I haven’t seen them since they were too low. There’s another one such candidate who might have to be emergency harvested as well but he’ll have a full more week and also he is heavily coated in sugar already. Let me know in the comments how well you can see the sugar coating, especially the lower bud sites sometimes have an excessive coating. Would be interesting to know whether this has anything to do with lower bud sites doing something that it makes them sugar up more. Or maybe it’s the light that is different in these darker areas The image quality in the video for some reason is much better often than in the photos. I don’t get why the iPhone isn’t just doing what it does in video mode in photo mode as well. Update: The overall coloring is slowly transitioning from white to Orange on those Buds. I can now see the end of the tunnel. Buds are also swelling nicely. And oh the chomes! 🥦🍆

All 5 plants are growing great now! Started flowering my bag seed plant to go ahead and get it sexed ahead of flipping the light. I'm feeling a female! She's looking too good to be a boy. The mentos is recovering great from the topping, as you can see she's starting to bush out quite nice, all but #2 (the taller, single stalk one). Went ahead and started tying back all the branches that were getting ready for it. Also started defoliating some of the would be larf from the lower nodes to give them more energy to the future colas! We're almost there guys and gals, flowering time is right around the corner! Hopefully a week or so away. I can't Fu@k!ng wait! LESSSSGOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Folder 10 – Frosted Guava Auto B Week 4 | Vegetation – The Quiet Climber Welcome back to The 8×8 Adventure, a project where twelve unique cultivars are being grown side by side inside the same environment, allowing every genetic to express its own personality under identical conditions. Each plant is documented individually because no two phenotypes tell the same story. Even when they share the same genetics, subtle differences in structure, vigor and flowering behaviour make every diary unique. Frosted Guava Auto B is proving exactly that. Although she shares the tent with her sister, she has developed her own character. Slightly taller, equally healthy, and every bit as determined, she’s entering the next chapter of her life with confidence. Our 12/12-from-seed journey continues, and this week marks another exciting milestone as the first signs of flowering begin to appear. ⸻ 🌱 Week 4 – A Compact Plant With Her Own Personality While Plant B has stretched just a little more than her sister, she remains a very compact autoflower compared to many of the other cultivars sharing this 8×8 room. Instead of investing her energy into vertical growth, she has focused on producing tight internodal spacing, sturdy branches and a surprisingly balanced structure. Looking around the room, it’s already clear that Frosted Guava is unlikely to become one of the tallest ladies of the garden—but height has never been the goal. Sometimes the smallest plants surprise us with the biggest harvests. Her canopy is filling beautifully, each node producing healthy new growth that will soon become flowering sites. Every day she looks more organized, more symmetrical and more prepared for what comes next. ⸻ 🌿 Gentle Training, Natural Development Just like her sister, Plant B has only received gentle Low Stress Training throughout her early life. Rather than forcing the plant into shape, I’ve focused on carefully bending large fan leaves, tucking foliage away from developing shoots and allowing natural light penetration into the centre of the canopy. This subtle approach has encouraged multiple branches to grow evenly without creating unnecessary stress. The result is a plant that still looks completely natural while developing a much more open canopy. Sometimes patience is the best training technique. ⸻ 🌸 Pre-Flower Has Officially Begun This week brings one of my favourite moments of every grow. Tiny white pistils have started appearing throughout the upper nodes, confirming that Frosted Guava Auto B has officially entered the pre-flowering stage. One of the most fascinating aspects of this 12/12-from-seed experiment is watching these autoflowers transition into bloom without hesitation. Rather than waiting for a long vegetative period, they simply follow their own internal clock. Despite her compact size, she’s wasting no time. The foundation has been built, and now the real show is about to begin. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be watching closely to see whether she delivers a modest stretch or stays true to her compact structure while focusing her energy on dense flower production. Either way, she’s looking incredibly promising. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions The room continues to provide a stable environment for all twelve cultivars despite the warmer summer temperatures. Environment • 🌡️ Day Temperature: 33°C • 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% • ? Substrate Temperature: 21°C • 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 26°C • ⚗️ pH: 6.1 • ⚡ EC: 1.35 mS/cm • ☁️ CO₂: 639 ppm • 💧 Water Consumption: 1.1 litres per plant per day Even with daytime temperatures reaching 33°C, Plant B continues showing excellent colour, strong leaf posture and vigorous growth, demonstrating how well she’s adapting to the environment. ⸻ Feeding Schedule This week’s feeding remained simple and consistent, allowing the plant to continue building healthy vegetative growth before fully committing to flowering. Per litre • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml • Power Roots — 1 ml • Pure Zym — 1 ml • Sugar Royal — 1 ml Adjusted using: • pH Plus — 0.03 ml • Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml The Plagron feeding programme continues delivering exactly what these plants need at this stage—healthy roots, lush green foliage and vigorous, stress-free development. ⸻ 💡 Lighting The entire 8×8 garden continues to thrive beneath the outstanding Future of Grow LED fixtures. Uniform light distribution across the canopy has helped every cultivar develop evenly, while allowing each phenotype to express its own natural growth pattern. It’s fascinating walking through the room and seeing twelve completely different personalities growing under exactly the same environmental conditions. Frosted Guava Auto B is a perfect example of how genetics shape the plant just as much as the environment. ⸻ 🌱 Looking Ahead Week four closes with Plant B looking healthy, balanced and full of potential. She’s entering flower with strong branching, vibrant foliage and a structure that promises excellent light penetration throughout the canopy. While some cultivars in the room are already showing more vertical ambition, Frosted Guava B seems determined to stay compact and focus her energy where it matters most. The coming weeks will reveal whether this translates into dense, resin-packed flowers—but for now, she’s ticking every box. The journey is only getting started. ⸻ 🙏 Thank You As always, thank you to everyone following The 8×8 Adventure. Sharing this project with growers from around the world is one of the most rewarding parts of the journey, and I truly appreciate every comment, question and piece of advice along the way. A special thank you to Zamnesia for providing these exciting Frosted Guava Auto genetics, to Plagron for the trusted substrates and nutrient line that continue supporting healthy, vigorous growth, and to Future of Grow LED for delivering exceptional lighting that allows every phenotype in this room to perform at its very best. Finally, thank you to GrowDiaries for giving this amazing community a place to learn, share experiences and celebrate our passion for growing together. See you all next week, when Frosted Guava Auto B takes another step into flowering. Until then… Growers Love and happy growing! 🌱💚

Missed a week posting. I feel like the buds are forming slow. I have a lot of leaves that are blocking bud sites but am hesitant to cut too much.

__________ Today I have something special for you! In this video, I’ll show you how I harvest worm tea from my own balcony worm bin, dilute it 1:10 with water, and feed my plant with it. From this week until the end of the grow, I’ll be giving her worm tea once a week. Other than that, the plant is developing beautifully. Thanks to the stretch, she has reached a height of 35 cm. I still have some vertical space left, so I’m not doing any more LST (low stress training) for now. Flowering is in full swing, and the smell is starting to kick in. The lady is getting quite thirsty, too—she’s now receiving 2 liters of water every two days. I’m still not adjusting the pH, but I make sure the water temperature is around 20°C. I’m really excited to see how the buds develop compared to my previous run in the 30-liter fabric pot with my Papaya Cookies Auto. For my next run, I’m planning another video where I’ll show you how I reuse and amend my living soil using things like my own worm castings.

Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #1. In comparison to the others she had the least amount of amber trichomes, with most of them being milky though. She could've enjoyed another week of flower for sure, but for the sake of the others being ready, harvesting them all at once was the only reasonable decision. Plant #1 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

Week 7 begins. Removed some dead leaves and big leaves that were blocking light to the lower parts of the plant. Buds getting bigger and frosty! Very happy with the plants development up to this point.
