This week, my cannabis plant is showing some signs of thirst. Unfortunately, I had to cut back on watering due to a small infestation of fungus gnats. To combat the problem, I decided to apply nematodes. Hopefully, they will take care of the larvae in the soil. Despite the reduced watering, the plant still looks strong and healthy overall. The buds are continuing to develop nicely.🌱🌱 I'm really curious to see how things progress in the coming weeks, especially now that the pest issue is being addressed.💚 Be excited for the coming weeks 💚🌱🌱

Overall very happy with this plant grow. She was by far the hungriest of the four plants in this grow, but she still developed nicely, loads of sticky sweet smelling buds. Will update in 2 weeks, after the first smoke. Update! Smoked the first buds from this harvest, the smoke was smooth, light berry/fruit taste, it will get stronger as they cure in their jars. Overall, I am happy with the plant, the bud product and quality. She's not a super heavy indica, but she can still pack a punch!

Watering: Conducted three wet-to-dry cycles. Soil Testing: A slurry test on Day 6 indicated a pH of 6.39 and an EC of 2.9 mS/cm. Nutrient Introduction: Began adding nutrients at 50% of the manufacturer's recommended levels during the third watering on Day 6. The nutrient solution had an EC of 0.53 mS/cm and a pH adjusted to 5.2. Runoff measurements showed a pH of 6.5 and an EC of 1.97 mS/cm. Optimal pH for nutrient uptake in hydroponic systems typically ranges from 5.5 to 6.5. Plant Training: Planning to top all plants near the end of Week 4. Irrigation System: Received all Tray2Grow components. With leaves now reaching the pot edges, plan to activate the system on Day 2 when plants require watering. Overall, plants are progressing well, with environmental parameters maintained within optimal ranges.

All the girls are very strong and stable from an early age 💚🌿🌲 Training: As I mentioned above, this week I had to do LST and defoliation 2 times. The branches are delicate, but there are really a lot of them. I made the first defoliation bigger, the second one more gentle 🍃

Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

Alle Trichome sind milchig aber noch keine Bernstein Farbe zu entdecken. In der 9 Woche werde ich die Dünger gabe halbieren und erst spülen wenn ich Bernstein Farbe erblicken so 10% der Rest schön milchig. Würde schätzen maximal noch 14 Tage dann sind sie reif die Gorilla Punsh wahrscheinlich eher ! Oder was sagt ihr Growmies?

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. Lo que si esta semana logramos instalar la carpa correspondiente para estas nenas así que estamos esperando a llenar la carpa y poder pasar a floración. La estructura habla por si sola, aun no le hago amarres correspondientes ya que estoy esperando que me lleguen los soportes y poder darle más vigor del que ya tiene con el apoyo. Estamos probando cannaboost via folear 3 veces por día 2 ml x litro. lo vamos a utilizar hasta el día 21 de floración y comenzamos vía riego. quiero comprobar diferencias ya que todos mis cultivos tengo que probar alguna cosa nueva ya sea estilo de alimentación o lo que sea. Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. En la 4ta semana aumentamos la dosis del fertilizante para crecimiento, regulamos su p.h en 6.0 e hicimos una poda apical en el 4to nodo de cada una de las plantas.

All done and dusted on this bad boy. Nice big bushy auto that did its job from the beginning. It was always harder work than the Do Si Dos and with what I’ve hung up to dry I don’t think it’ll have a larger harvest either. The smell is super strong and very fruity and will give an updated the final smoke and weight. 🙌🏼
