Tropicanna Poison XL Auto- Outside W10F6 8/17-23 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We have Hurricane Erin approaching the Bahamas heading northeast with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday 19th in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. She is free and clear of any rot or bugs 8/19 Tropicanna Poison XL auto is 53 days from germination. Sweet Seeds says 60-75 days to harvest so she needs about a week more. Next week with the hurricane approaching, we are expecting rain for most of the week. Given the pending weather conditions for the next couple of weeks, the remainder of the grow will be in the tent where I can control the environment. I also will be using the air conditioner to drop nighttime temperature and maybe bring out pink and red colors. The stems show pink so I’m hopeful. Switched to 12/12 Defoiled them every 2 days...slightly, just to stop all shadings Mixed in some flowering nutes mid week Got an really even canopy...LST did a good job...light seems to be used very efficient now

Missed week 2 but the grow is now fully engaged. The big board helps as can have individual plants nearly under a light each.... as brought back the SF2000. The 90 degree red clips really helped in getting a flat top of flowers. Trying to clone the lower branch cuttings...some in peat pots...some in a glass of water. I have to admit the stretch was.....minimal and if I grow this again I will veg to 7-8 weeks for bigger plants.

Day 67 of flowering and any day it's getting cut down but truthfully thinking bout day 70 which will be on a Tuesday which I'm off I did turn the dim down a lil bit overall everything looks good smells good and soon hopefully taste good also my picture of my amber wouldn't load but on 5/11 I first saw them so Day 65

End of Week 6 Added CO2 with regulator and controller! Added the trellis net to spread out the canopy and get more even light to bud sites. The ladies have lost some momentum and they're drinking less because of the pest issue. Although they should be growing faster because of the CO2 supplementation I'm sure when the thrips are gone they will explode. I also performed some HST by removing fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the stems to open up the canopy whilst keeping the stress at a minimal. Pest Report: Still fighting the thrips... Every time I spray Bio-Insek and Xterminator (Agro-Organics) it deals with the problem for a few days until the eggs and larvae that the thrips left behind hatch and start munching on the plants again. The ladies are strong and healthy and get a slight wilt when I haven't sprayed IPM for a few days this tells me that its not a major issue but I need to get rid of them especially because I want to flip to flower soon. It seems that the problem is under control. Now I will apply it weekly to make sure those buggers are ELIMINATED.

Harvest time ... Trim jail done after two months of harvesting, drying and curing ... a lot of work for a solo grow ... Yield is enough for a year... or two... won't disclose weight 😉

BWiz aka sour wiz is doing absolutely great. Not a single complaint or problem. Really pumping out a stank. (My Skywalker og is harvested. Drying and curing. Once it’s finished I will update that journal with pics and info. So far so good. Def dried out faster then I’d like but hopefully the cure saves my ass a little.)

Week 3 of flower has brought some frost along with it. It has also seen the stretching slow right down so she should really go into bud production mode now. I top dressed with some of my high N amendment mix and my flower mix at a 50/50 ratio as she was looking a little pale so I figured a little more N was needed to keep her happy. Plus the flowering mix to side in bud production. I have upped waterings to 17-20 gallons every 2-3 days and she seems to be enjoying a little extra water. I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicides and I haven’t seen any powdery mildew this week 😎 Onward! 😎🍿🍻🌱
