This week was spent doing some needed cleaning and minor defoliation and start aiming towards flowering in the next week or so. I dumped all pots and wiped out as well as the resivoir and added fresh water and nutes to all the plants. While plants were out of tent I did some very minor defoliating as well. I picked up a few goodies this week. I noticed a fruit fly or two and decided to pick up an insect trap off amazon (let’s see how it works 🤞🏽). I also picked up a chargeable watering wand that is worth 3x its price for how easy it makes it to water/feed my plants. I just drop in in my 5 gallon bucket after nutes and pHing water and get to work without moving a single pot. Wish I got this sooner!

Well not really much too update everything is still going well i guess, purple queen is really slow with starting to set flower mode is that normal with this strain? Or I’m i just not patient enough 😅 sticky beast is going really well also going strong into week 5! My best one most be the runtz #1 that is in week 6 the other one is chasing it but like I said already i broke the main root (not all the way) while lsting her. I put some ducktape on her but i think she will take a little longer then the number 1

Nutes, watering: We're flushing this week 4L water + 4l water pH ~6.4 Training: No training Environment: RH this week is between 40-45% lights ~45-50 DLI Growth: Almost no changes this week. Except the higher leaves are gettin' yellow and a bit purple. Trichomes look almost done. I'm waiting until i see just a slight touch of ambers on the flowers themselves.

Wow wow wow... Apollo what have you guys made at SweetSeeds... My dear this strain is a monster and a keeper. Do you want regular-sized plants and buds in 8 weeks? No problem! Do you want plants that can handle any condition even as a noob? Check! This beast of a strain is out of this world and I'm over the moon with the results. I can't believe it. Normally I've seen auto's do 30 cms and some buds on top... This is simply alien tech... I think I have never seen any plant grow that fast... This is something to try if you haven't already... Completely amazed... And this is while making all sorts of mistakes: too hot, soil also too hot in nutes and temp, hotspots in tent by lacking fans, less PH buffer. Stuff I learned: - In my climate: at least 20 liter grow pots, maybe bigger. - Add hydro corn, I forgot this - Less bloodmeal and bonemeal - More perma tea since mine is now too old to use, it will rot the earth. - More often more water, in smaller pots - Better ventilation and routing of fresh air. - Light a little higher also during flower. - No training is needed, a little defoliation is enough. I'm not happy with the overall harvest...it produced some good tasty smoke due to fine nutes and a wonderfull strain but i fu**ed it up by using a very bad soil...growth was very slow and also lost like 25g due to budrot/mold...again my fault as i set up ventilation the wrong way (RH was good but some buds didn't get enough airflow) Again i learned alot of things and got 275g of good, great smelling smoke...so not that bad...but could be much better 🙂

Dried with working ventilation until the moment when the weight stopped falling harvesting a dried bush took about one and a half hours, because tried to keep the branches intact A picture taken from below is the quintessence of all my experience. That option which in my opinion should be considered the "golden recipe" of microgrow. No temporary loss, ease, flexibility and ease of scaling to fit any size. With the final weight, an awkward situation, although the branches began to break, and everything is very dry. It turned out too much to be believed even by myself. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here.
