So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

This cherry bomb is crushing it on all fronts. The smell is epic citrus berry. I’ve got her on a drip line now, with two 2gal/hr emitters running for 5 mins a couple of times a day. Can’t wait to watch the buds really fill in now.

Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

Grow was very easy and she pretty much took care of herself but I do think I stunted her early on which kept her fairly small but the buds are very fat and dense. Will do some more updates and the drying process goes.

Всем привет. И так, в самом начале недели мы обрезали верхушку, чтобы у нас осталось четыре этажа. Разумеется, растение на пару дней получило стресс, но стало сильно расправлять свои крылья. Первые пятилистники так разрослись, что размах стал 42 сантиметра, а это В ТРИ РАЗА больше чем высота куста. Сфоторграфировал для сравнения с мужской рукой. Толщина черенка 6 мм, это даже толще чем некоторые ветки. Но, к сожалению, от этих листьев пришлось избавиться на 6-ой день, так как они полностью закрывали нижний этаж, от куда рвались наружу ветки. Слегка снизил яркость освещения, чтобы не было сильного стресса, так как эти два лопуха прогоняли через себя очень много воды и были больше всего задействованы в фотосинтезе. Результат не заставил себя долго ждать - куст распушился новыми листьями. Сами ветки уже обросли "мазолями" и растение перешло из ранней веги в слегкий стретчинг. Толщина ствола 1.2см. За 3 недели - это прям очень и очень хорошо. Точно буду переводить на цвет в конце следующей недели, когда ветки вытянутся и их можно будет контролировать по высоте. Нижние ветки развел по диагонали, а верхние ветки крест-накрест. Формируем нашу корону из 8 веток. Одна самая верхняя ветка чуток лопнула, и слегка отсоединилась от ствола, но думаю там тоже скоро нарастет хорошая мозоль. Со следующей недели начну жесткий контроль PH и перейду на трехкомпонентное удобрение от GHE, так как на листьях начинает проявляться то ли недостаток, то ли переизбыток каких-то веществ. Начало серьезно пахнуть, особенно после ночи, и это не смотря на то что растение даже еще не цветет. Пришлось подключать фильтр.

Hallo und herzlich Willkommen in Woche 16/ Blütewoche 4 So die dritte Woche und somit eine sehr aufregende und spannende ist vorüber. Der Phosphor und Kalium Bedarf erhöht sich in dieser arg und zu einem (N) Stickstoffüberschuss, haben wir gestern festgestellt, dass es anfängliche Mangelerscheinung im P+ K Bereich gibt. Bisher betrifft dies die Sonnen- Segel die eher auf mittlerer Höhe sind. Nach dieser Feststellung haben wir uns den Flowa Bloom JU JU Royal Dünger von der Zusammensetzung genauer angeschaut. Fazit: Das Verhältnis an (N) in dem Blütedünger ist bei 5 und somit bekommen wir selbst nur mit dem Blütedünger den Stickstoff nicht reguliert. Ergo alte Schule, da wir keinen reinen PK 13-14 im Hause führen bleibt uns im Moment nur die alternative auf den Bloom Dünger von Biobizz zu gehen, da das Verhältnis bei dem nur bei 2 liegt. Damit der Stickstoff auch durch P+K verarbeitet werden kann, benötigen wir Zucker, morgen soll dahingehend Top Max eintreffen. Wir hoffen, dass das Rausarbeiten des Stickstoffs durch oben genanntes gut verläuft, vielleicht etwas langsamer, weil wir immer noch einen kleinen Anteil an Stickstoff darin haben. Anderes Blatt Gut sieht in Ordnung aus, bis hierhin. Wetter: Da sich durch die Anfangs mistige Erde sich alles um gute 2 Wochen nach hinten verschoben hat, befinden wir uns jetzt in einer Periode mit sehr hohen und Trockenen Temperaturen. Demnach und das war auch schon lange ein Wunsch, haben wir jetzt ein Klimagerät installiert. Unser Streben darin werden keine absoluten Idealtemp. sein sondern so, dass es den Pflanzen nicht zu unangenehm wird. Das bedeutet das die Höchsttemperatur im Innenbereiches des Zeltes ca. bei 29- 30 Grad Celsius liegen wird. Ja ansonsten sieht es ganz okay aus :-) Die höchstwachsende Cola haben wir ein wenig zur Seite runter gebunden und passt jetzt schön zur Höhenebene der anderen Lebensgefährtinnen. Bisher sind auch keine Anzeichen von HEMA und auch die Trauermücken wurden von den Nematoden Sichtlich unterdrückt. Zu den Thripsen: Trotz Blausticker müssen einige noch vorhanden sein. Ansonsten war es das erst einmal und wünschen somit allen Growmies einen schönen chilligen Sonntag und eine Erfolgreiche neue Woche! I’ll be honest, for my first grow and harvest, I’m stoked to have pulled this much weed off of these plants. Though I did dry them too fast with my given conditions so the planty “green” smell, isn’t quite gone yet with a 4 week cure and going. That’s fine though. Everyone that smokes this, loves it. Really heavy body high with a couch locking effect. Munchies set in heavy shortly after lol I personally don’t smoke much but I offer some to everyone that comes through my door. I would for sure run these again but maybe in larger pots. A bunch of folks say that these only require 1 gallon pots but I can tell that they would’ve for sure grew larger if given the space. 10/10 would recommend to beginners.

Day 22 25/07/24 Thursday Still no Feed/water since Tuesday. Been a humid and overcast two days so not as much evaporation as normal. All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚

Hi everyone ☺️. Today the New Aeroponic Diary begins, as before with the wonderful variety Gelato from Zamnesia . This time I planned to leave the full 8 cuttings instead of 3 as in the last run. For test purposes I would like to give a very short vegi time this time. To be precise, I would like to switch them to flowering a few days after rooting. Since the growth is extremely extreme on Aero, I think that a few days will be enough to get 8 little trees 😋. Of course everything is documented and uploaded. Today the cuttings were cut, brushed with clone gel and placed in the aero system 😃. Of course, the entire system was cleaned very time-consuming with disinfectant after the last run, and all seals, pumps, etc. were checked for their function, so that the new run could start today 👌👍. First week of flowering. The plant will stretch, so i adjusted the LED dimmer to 100%. Did a good defoliation too. Doing good, very healthy big plant. It grew a lot of ramifications.
