Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each (nutrients see table above) Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Here we go for the first session. Hope it will be as easy as the first one was... finger crossed ! As I love sativas strains, Chocolate Haze seems a perfect choice to me. The grow tent in tall (2m) so the girls can grow till 1.6m more or less. With some training and topping, it should be ok. Germination day 5 : 2/3. I decided to put a 4th Chocolate seed. If it germinates, it will be just 5 days younger. Nothing I can't deal with ! If it doesn't, never mind. Let's give it a try ! Germination day 9 : 4/4 ! Now it means that I have to deal with 7 pure sativas in 1m2…. I love chalenges 😁😅 Germination day 12 : The litle girls are growing gently. The second pair of leaves is coming, and I thing I'll turn diary into "week 1" on saturday with their first repotting. The 4th Chocolate haze is a bit small for repotting as she's 5 days late compared to the others. But, she grows fast and strong (maybe faster than the 3 others) and I think she'll make it ! We'll see.

Started the week with some Low Stress Training and continued to add and rearrange the ties throughout the week. There are a handful of reasons to LST your plants but the main reason should be to train the plant to grow with an even canopy when flowering. If you were to just grow your plant without any training, the plant would typically grow like a Christmas tree where the star would be your main top cola and have smaller buds (larf) on the bottom 3/4 of the plant. When trained correctly and achieving an even canopy will produce multiple large colas across an even canopy allowing as many colas (bud sites) as possible to be the same height from the light source. The Pineapple grew quickly which made the LST very easy and it worked out great in the end. The Purple was not growing so good and that was disappointing considering the other Purple that was growing in the other space grew very nice, similar to the Pineapple. Getting a runt / mutant is more common than one would think. At this point Feed was every other day and 3ml in 3L Ph between 6 - 6.1 *This week switched both SF2000 lights on and was having heat issues which didn't get corrected till late in the week.

Tuesday update Ok so the plants are on a 12/12 cycle now and have been for about a week but I’m not counting it at a flowering weed until I. See pre-flowers at least. I’m surprised they hadn’t really reached sexual maturity by the time I flipped but it’s all good. They are getting to a very respectable size now - more so than that, they all have a really decent amount of growth nodes and are growing outwards more than upwards because of how I have topped, defoliated and got rid of the crap lateral branches at the bottom that don’t do anything. I was actually really amazed at how compact and scraggly they were at the bottoms of the stems when I came back and checked them today. They look much more bushy and straggly than the autos I have grown. I would say there is more need to have lolipopped and topped and stuff than with autos. If you really want you can just leave autos to get on with it and they don’t go TOO bushy at the base where as these really needed a tidy up. I do see a couple of pistols now which is starting to stop my worries about their sexual maturity and time management. With photos are you supposed to veg until you see them pre-flower? Or do they only show pre-flowers once you flip?

Bud development is really nice. Now you can clearly see purple buds, starting to produce a layer of resin. The purple from spreads from the inside to the sugar leaves, leaving a nice colour. The smell to this point, is not that strong. But she smells like a doughy overripe fruit, very sweet, but not yet like a cherry. I'm excited to see, how it's gonna turn out in the end. She is not a thirsty plant and is not asking for a lot of nutrients. I just added a small mixture of bloom fertilizer, just to prevent deficiency symptoms. O guess she will take another 5 to 6 weeks, to become fully ripened. So far the plant is really easy to handle , just don't overfeed her and she is running on her own.

Bubble og I still have 4 of these guys going. A few of them are still dark green and pretty decent growers they have thiner leaves. I'm sure a few of these will be on the chopping block later down a few of them just have crappy start growth and they need the humidity at 75% or above 100% the time with the light lower than normal or they start to shrivel up. That's not all of them just a couple. Also I am only going to flower 8 plants out if the 12 seedling and I have 5 strains going so can't have half my plants bubble og (wish I had room to grow the full 12 plants at a time) It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

7 weeks today and the plants are looking healthy. Only grew 2-3 inches this week so the vertical climb is slowly down fast but the buds are starting to swell. Fertilizing with cn flower granules once a week then big bloom, cal-mag, molasses, and stored rain water the rest of the time. Still warm here but nighttime slowly getting cooler and a cool front on the way. Probably another 3-4 weeks until harvest. Will check back later on. Thanks for stopping by. Decided to stagger harvests and drop a couple more beans. Wedding cake auto and Royal Jack have been germinated and waiting for them to sprout 8-26. Well I’m a genius. I thought I was using 5 gallon pots until I went to the nursery and bought some more pots. After filling up with soil and planting the seeds, I discovered the new ones are larger. Blonde moment. 9-2-25 gave them some big bloom, cal-mag, molasses in stored rainwater. Seem to be healthy. Stopped growing upwards and now fully dedicated to producing flowers. Starting to smell some but not overwhelming. Probably a few more weeks to harvest. Tricomes look cloudy but pistas are mostly white. 9-3-25 plants are very thirsty . They get saved rainwater everyday. I’m sure 24 hours of sunlight/grow light helps dry up the soil. Still hot here-90f+ but nights are close to 70f. Cooler weather soon 🙏🏻🙏🏻

TB SkittleZ Auto - The Bulldog Seeds Day 66 🚿 watered her three times this week, with 1l of RO tap water with defined nutrients mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.5. ✂️ No work on her this week, as nothing was required 🙌🏻 🌸 She is focusing on bulking her bud and has doubled her flower volume since last week 💪🏻 She has finally started to release her aroma into the tent, very fruity and candy like - it's all going well so far!
