Week 4 of flowering 10/9/24 Defoliated plants. Watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff) hand watering to full saturation of the media with 20% runoff at the end of the week. Checking runoff EC every 3 days. Lights now at max height and 90% power. Cheap AliExpress exhaust fan timer broke. Humidity rose up to 99% inside the grow tent, but fans kept circulating the air. After noticing, immediately turned on the dehumidifier to 40% RH with extra fan pointing on the canopy to max. hopefully no herm problems and mold issues. Adding 2.5ml/gal of H2O2 (35%) to the reservoir to keep bacteria away.

So of the two gelato mints one turned out to be hermit, and the mimosas only 2 made the final cut as one of them was vegging super slow and mutated, the mutant has been thrown in the mother tent to grow abit bigger cos I always like to flower out the mutants if i can. So basically down to 1 x Gelato Mint and 2 x Mimosa all of them looking really nice too, full root production, decent side branching and a strong smell on all 3, the mimosas look on the stockier side and the gelato looks like it's gonna be quite leggy! Looking forward to what these do, I'm half hoping the mimosa #1 is a keeper cos she smells unreal on the touch and has a lot of desirable traits so far.

9/15 Beginning third week things look well. FS 3ml/gal - Fish Mix 5 l/gal - Big Bloom 1tbs/gal - CalMag 5 l/gal - Si 3ml/gal overnight results are explosive 9/20 Mostly all is well in the garden but I am concerned with Jen. I am thinking just because... separate feeding at 6.5ph, a drench to 10% runoff with 10ml/gal kangaroots and 5ml/gal bio-grow removing the Fish Mix. Thats pretty much it for my guess. F28 General Overview • Flower Day 28 marks the end of Week 4, and the grow is still performing exceptionally well. • The canopy is now thick, powerful, and fully developed — the SuperBuffCherry #26 is deep in mid-flower and showing strong bud formation. • The main colas currently range between 80 and 90 cm in height, standing tall and sturdy. ⸻ Canopy Management & Defoliation • Due to the increasing amount of leaf mass and a rise in humidity, airflow became a concern. • To counter this, a second oscillating fan was added inside the tent to improve internal air circulation. • Additionally, a heavy defoliation session was performed to: • Reduce moisture buildup • Increase airflow around bud sites • Lower the risk of mold or mildew • Improve light penetration to lower and mid-level branches • The canopy now breathes much more freely, and the plants responded well to the clean-up. ⸻ Environment • The main issue at the moment is high humidity due to dense foliage, which has now been addressed. • Even with strong ventilation, the environment began showing conditions that could lead to powdery mildew (PM) if left unchecked. • It’s not a confirmed outbreak yet, but the early signs and risk indicators are there. ⸻ Plant Condition • Aside from the mildew risk, the plants themselves are in excellent health: • Strong structure • Zero nutrient issues • Deep green leaves • Great hydration and vigor • Visible flower stacking beginning across all tops • BioTabs continues to deliver consistent, stable feeding without needing adjustments.

Bisher lief fast alles problemlos und ich hab mich weiter am LST probiert. Mir ist ein Ast komplett abgebrochen, aber ich konnte ihn wieder festmachen und er ist verwachsen. Allerdings ist der Ertrag sehr schlecht im Vergleich zu den anderen Ästen. (siehe Bild: Bruch) Werde das nicht wieder versuchen.

(CAN) Une météo parfaite cette semaine. Je dispose des grillages plus gros autour des plants, je dégage également les alentours afin de laisser passer plus facilement les rayons du soleil et de faire baisser l’humidité ambiante. Les plants ont maintenant beaucoup plus d’espace et peuvent se développer pleinement pour prochainement, passer en floraison. Je renouvelle le marc de café autour des plants pour éloigner les potentiels nuisibles. Je pulvérise les plants au purin d’orties le jour 59. Arrosage à l’engrais de croissance le jour 60.

Today is day 22, beginning of week 2 of veg. Looking good after topping yesterday. New growth already. Finding it hard to figure out LST, but making progress as soon as I see a leave that is shading another. Practice is helping toward perfection. I fed her today according to General Hydroponics Flora Series low/weak feed schedule. Did not use calmag because I realized there is already a lot of cal and mag in my tap water. I will be buying a 5 stage water filter reservoir so I will resume using it then. Currently only able to use tap water that is filtered through a Brita pitcher. Turned exhaust fan back on after initial 24 hours of balminess to promote growth and rh is back to normal parameters. August 18 update - It is summer in the northern hemisphere and guess who just got over covid? This plant mom. Ugh. Updates are dry this week because I was as sick as a dog. A couple of days ago I noticed purple stems on the fan leaves and the fact that the new growth was such a bright contrast compared to the older fan leaves. After a confirmatory TDS reading on the Apera meter regarding my suspicion of nutrient lockout, I flushed Kaboom 4 times to get her readings back to normal parameters. Today, day 28, (happy first month Kaboom) she is looking a lot better, photos and details in the next week :)
