Welcome to my 22nd grow on growdiaries. I'm going to be stricter on this grow as i have been a bit lax on the last few and let them get out of control.
My plan is no more then 12 colas between the 2 plants. I'm going to have a shorter veg period to keep them at a reasonable height. I'm also going to try to keep them away from the sides of the tent more then I normally do.
Because I may be going away shortly I'm going to start in the final pot because sods law I'll be away when they need potting up.
I'm running 2 photoperiods again, they are both from the MSNL catalogue. Plant #1 Lemon cherry gelato will be on the left looking in the tent and #2 Zoap will be on the right.

📅1/10/24 Tuesday
📋 Prepared 12L fabric pots, filled with biobizz lightmix, then gave 2L water Ec=0.25 PH=7.0/6.7. Then 1L water with katana roots @5ml/L Ec=0.3 PH=6.3/6.3
No runoff.
Placed pot into tent with no light on.
📅2/10/24 Wednesday
📋 Dropped the seed into 40ml of water with 5ml/L katana roots and 0.1ml/L neutralise at 5.00pm.
5.00pm turned light on @ 100w 80cm above the soil, Ppfd=197, 24hr DLI=17.0
10.00pm placed seed into moist paper towel.
📅3/10/24 Thursday
📋 7.30pm tap root breaking through the side of the shell so put the seed into 12L fabric pot, and placed in the tent under constant light. Can't recall ever having a tap root coming through the side before.

📋 9.00pm looks like movement.
📅5/10/24 Saturday
📋 9.00pm not broke ground properly but cotyledons are visible and looks stuck in part of the shell casing. Day 0

Germination summery.
📋 Didn't take that long for the Lemon cherry gelato to start breaking ground, she seems to be struggling to open up at the moment and is a funny yellow colour. I'll give her a few more days and see if I need a backup seed..

Some of the older leaves started yellowing, so I used a little bit of mineral fertilizer and also added a spoonful of bone and blood meal.
Although I think it is quite natural for them to use mobile resources and for leaves to die off, I added some fertilizer just once, especially for the nitrogen deficiency. But it will be a one-time thing.
Other than that, nothing special happened. I do hope that the buds are getting bigger, but right now, I don't see much progress this week, except on the buds on the lower branches.
In less than two weeks, my grow tent and new setup should arrive, so maybe she will finish inside a proper tent, and I'll get my kitchen back 😂 She is really smelly right now.

Well at last more space in my grow area looking forward for these ladies they are coming along lovely and no issues with them whatsoever buzzing for the end of these beautiful looking girls 😂✌️🏻

The two Water Egg strains have not developed and are stunted and deformed. I dropped the seeds before germination in the carpet. I found them but they must have picked up some bacteria or something. they are the only two that are weird and slow. I pulled them. I'm thier place went Speedrun Seeds Final Boss F2 and Terprantula Autoflowers Midnight Comet. Sowed directly in pots. Midnight Comet is in Gia Green amended coco cori and perlite 5 gallon fabric. Final Boss will be in Autopot 5 gallon fabric fed with the others.

6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year.
6/23 WATERED EVERYTHING. USED FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS. EVERYTHING GOT AT LEAST A HALF GALLON. Despite the rain we got and the bags still having some heft I decided to water. It's 80 at 9am. It's supposed to he in the upper 90's today and coukd break 100° tomorrow. I hate that the grow bags are black. That's way to hot for the plants. I should find some empty soil bags and wrap the black fabric for a couple days. A sunscreen might help but I doubt much. We'll see how it goes.
6/24 It's 90° at 9am. It's supposed to break 100° amd stay there a while. Up to 106°. Plants looked awesome this morning. I wasn't sure what I'd find. Today is the worst of the days. If it didn't break 100 yesterday it was damn close all day and the girls look GREAT. I WATERED AGAIN TODAY. I USED EITHER 5.5 OR 6.5 GALLONS TO WATER THE GARDEN. It was nice cool well water too so they should like that. Branches are getting longer and I'm training as the get bigger. I need to put up the trellis but I'm not doing it in this heat.
EDIT: 90° @ 6PM WENT OVER AND AS PREDICTED THE TWO TENS WERE DROOPING. IM WONDERING IF THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH IM THOSE TENS. LAST YEAR I HAD ONE THAT WAS HUGE IN A TEN BUT IT JUST DEVELOPED INDIVIDUAL CALYXS WITHPUT CONNECTING. CHECK IT OUT ON LAST YEARS DIARY. IF THATS THE CASE I SHOULD KIGHT DEP THEM BECAUSE THEYRE GETTING BIG. I WATERED THE TWO TENS WITH ABOUT A HALF GALLON AND I USED WHAT WAS LEFT OF THAT COLD WELL WATER ON THE 10TH PLANET IN THE 30. SHITS LIGHTER THAN USUAL BUT LOOKING PRETTY GOOD. THE REST CAN WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING FOR THEIR WATERING. TOMORROW TOPS OUT AT 85° WHICH WILL BE MUCH BETTER. IM LOVING MY STRAIN CHOICES RIGHT NOW.

Pollen was dropping like crazy as the male flowers got ripe and ready. The females got good and coated and fully pollinated. I harvested the males to collect and preserve the pollen. Some dried and I veiled it up. But the bulk majority is still drying up.
I left just the bottom portion of the male kicking for some extra pollen well the females throw off. The diary will now begin to focus on the pollinated females. The journey to beans is well under way! Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

All is rosey with this lady. No complaints. Defoliated and ready for flower. Not stretched as much as I would have expected but given its my first grow I'm unsure. A ton of tops with hairs showing everywhere. Can't wait to see this lady develop!

Bumped the feeding up and still feeding pretty much everyday. Feeding now until there is about 20% runoff. Also started LST this week honestly could have probably been started a week earlier.

3/16:
Rain let up for half the day, but more tonight...damnit...
They are due for a watering tomorrow, but with the high RH, maybe not...
3/17:
They weren't ready for water yet, so I slept for a few bonus hours! (rare)
The tall one's biggest 3 colas are starting to thicken...they'll range from 14" to 18" in length. I'd like to see them get to 10" in circumference or better...👈
Rained for most for the day....again...
3/18:
I watered them with about 1/2 gallon each including terpinator, signal, sweet & sticky, cal-mag, armor si, endoboost, humic acid, and a little cha ching. It rained all night again..and most of the day today. I took some photos with the qb's turned off and a 135w 5500k CFL on..
3/19:
It rained all night and several times again today...ffs....I've started building an Ark in my free time 😁

Rained again on and off today..RH still too high...
3/21:
Rained again tonight..
I had to pick up a couple of them while removing a couple of other plants, and they are still heavy. I might be able to wait until Monday to feed again, which might be enough time for me to get the RH back down a little bit.
3/22:
Rained again last night several times...and again today for a couple hours...ridiculous. Woke up with RH at 65%!!!
Been chatting with other FFT growers and they all seem to be losing a lot of produce to botrytis...I'm starting to freak out..😳

I'm enjoying a lot this genetic, the root system is super healthy and that's giving strong plants with desire to grow and produce frosty flowers :)

For now the vegetative stage is going perfectly!
Ajusting humidity and doing some toppings to spead the plat out!!
I think I will put her to flower in 4 weeks!!
