Super soil Diary update 20th Feb 2020 So another week bites the dust and it's time to update again. I let the soil dry out within the pot for three days because it had been cooler and I was concerned that I had been overwatering. When I did give her a drink it was 10Lof Rainwater mixed with some Mollasses and ph'd to 6.5. I also gave her some epsom salts and I also finally got around to doing the worm warm, so All of my Photo strain girls got aprox half a kilo of fresh worm castings each. I have some more "high tea" bubbling away (see above video) that will be given to the plants later this week. After all that the soil should be very happy and hopefully this will pass onto the Wifi in the form of fat buds. Remember keep your soil happy and your plants will be happy too. Our Ghost Train Haze Automatic by Zamnesia started off very well, they had a good sprint since I added Alga grow and they had the chance to start metabolizing the powerful additives from Plagron. We quickly got to the first topping, as with all the others I decided to make a plant with the techniques and a tip. I'm not completely ready to give up the main cola. Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when you apply the topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants start flowering at about the 5th intenodo, you need to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure. So I cleaned everything and cut at the top leaving only the main growth line, called Main Lining, the florets will be lowered during growth and the plant will eventually be like "split" in the main line with the various branches. On photoperiodic plants, however, we will do topping repeatedly, which is not recommended with autoflowering plants so as not to lengthen the times of plants born to finish in 10 weeks. The second week (including a few days of germination) we gave Power Roots 1 ml/l, Pure Zym 1 ml/l, Sugar Royal 1 ml/l, Alga Grow 3 ml/l - Plagron nutrients are available at Zamnesia in convenient pack formats for all growing styles. She has been pinched at the peak and the fuel dog will should finish the majority of her vegetation by the end of next week. She has shown growth spurts of recent her stem is fully firm and her leaves are a shiny vibrant green. She now stands between 17cm- 22cm

🗓️ Day 78 – Embracing the Power of Nature Another week has passed in this beautiful outdoor grow journey. The plant continues to surprise me with its strength and resilience. This past week brought intense sunlight and scorching heat, but no changes were made to the technique – I still rely entirely on nature’s rhythm. No additives, no boosters – just clean tap water and occasional Plagron Bat Guano top-dressings every 10 days. 🌿 Growth & Structure After recovering from the strong winds and heavy rain earlier this month, the plant has bounced back stronger than ever. The main cola is stretching tall and proud, and the side branches are developing nicely with consistent flower formation. 🔎 Health Observation The leaves remain lush green with no signs of deficiency or stress. The overall structure is symmetrical, with good internodal spacing and healthy development. Some light purple tint appears in the petioles – likely a natural trait under current temperature fluctuations. 💡 Minimalist Approach This grow has been intentionally simple – an experiment to see how far genetics and nature alone can take a plant. The result so far is impressive, especially for a FastBuds autoflower grown without any synthetic nutrients or intensive care. 🌸 Flowering Stage The plant is now in full flowering mode. Bud sites are clearly swelling, and trichome production has started. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today their tap roots were about 1/2 to 3/4" so at 11 am I transferred them into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened and the #2 isn't far behind! 12/5- Well this is the full Day One for the #2 FBT #2202 and the second day for her sister! I'll keep them in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see their roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer them gently into their respective fabric pots. The #1 will be going into the 4g Gronest pot from FastBuds and the #2 will reside in a 3g pot by Wraxly, which I'm trying out for the first time. 12/7- Yesterday I checked the #1 tester and she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so I transferred her into her 4g Gronest pot. After making a hole in the medium for the peat pellet, I coated the entire surface with Xtreme Gardening Mycos then placed the pellet in the hole and planted her in. Lastly, I watered her in with about 4oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of FishShit added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 75℉ after which I placed a humidome over her for 24hrs to ensure that the humidity stays constant. The #2 tester is doing great and I'm confident that she should be ready to transfer into her fabric pot in the next couple of days! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8. 3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster. Buds forming nicely on't Chemdawg despite a bit of Nutrient Burn on some of the leaves. Skipped a feed last week and replaced with Molasses only just to help her fight off the excess 2nd Chemdawg looks like she will bud from head to toe a fairly straight forward week for all the girls but started to stink and show their flowers nicely. Jack herer auto is looking great forca 100 watt grow. She appears to be toward the end if bulking. I inspected some trichromes today, and it was not close enough for my liking to start a flush fade process. I have been growing her under the spider farmer SF-1000, in Athena blended line nutrition. It looks like it will be a good grow for a 100 watt light.
