CA is officially in flush. Going to harvest next weekend. She smells wonderful. Can't wait to give her a taste. I'm still curious what CA stands for, anyone know yet?

Week 6 (6-3 to 12-3) 6-3 Temperature: 27.6 degrees (lights on) 19.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 40% (lowest) Watering: None. 7-3 Temperature: 27.1 degrees (lights on) 19.6 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 52% (highest) 39% (lowest) At the beginning of the day i made a 15L feed and gave both plants a 1.5L topfeed, and i removed some leaves underneath the canopy. Later that day I installed the AutoPot reservoir and attached all hoses to the pots and reservoir. The airpump is connected aswell, and on a 18/6 timer. I added the remaining 9L to the reservoir and turned on the system. At the end of the day i added another 15L to the reservoir. The light is at 80% with an distance of 45/50 cm. LUX: 24.000 / 26.000 8-3 Temperature: 26.1 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 54% (highest) 40% (lowest) In the midday i turned off the reservoir, and at the end of the day the AutoPots were dry. I installed a SCROG net aswell that i bought a couple of days ago. The holes of the net are too big, so i will order another one with smaller holes, but for now i will use the bigger one. I disconnected the 18/6 timer of the airpump, so now it runs 24/7 on full power. I checked the PH of the reservoir and it went up to 6.3, so thats quite high, i added some PH- to 6.0 Light is at 50 cm. Hello Diary! This time on the "Farm" there are two new strains from Royal Queen Seeds, Watermelon Auto and Purple Punch Auto. In this diary we will dedicate ourselves to Watermelon. 😀 I would like to thank James of the Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these strains. 🙏 LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan Humidifier - Beurer LB 45 Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix Pot - 11L AirPot Seed - Royal Queen Seed Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition A few words about Watermelon Automatic. The breeders from RQS set out with the intention of crafting a strain that lights the taste buds on fire. To achieve such a tantalizing terpene profile, they selected two of the most flavorful parent strains available: Tropicanna Cookies and Lemon OG. Both of these varieties are packed full of limonene, myrcene, and other fruity and earthy molecules. Watermelon Automatic emerged with a genetic makeup of 75% indica, 20% sativa, and 5% ruderalis. The speedy autoflowering strain managed to inherit all of the tasty terpenes from her ancestors. These are the characteristics, we will now see what it will look like on my small farm. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 14/01/2021. Planting. After cleaning the Farm (GrowBox), I prepared everything I needed. Soil is a Light-Mix from BioBizz, Air-Pot's, Organic Additives that I mix with soil. From the beginning of this hobby, I use only organic fertilizers. I used 11L pots, to which I added 50g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 10g Easy Roots Rhizobacter and 5g Easy Roots Mycorrhizza Mix to the soil and mixed everything well. After that I soaked the soil well with water, made a small hole, laid the seed inside and lightly covered it with soil. After planting is completed, they enter their new home. As I wrote earlier, in addition to Watermelon, there are two more Purple Punch Auto on the Farm to keep him company. The temperature in the Box at that time was 23 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 45%, so I will have to put humidifier to raise humidity. I set the lights 35cm from the pots as Migro recommends. 14 - 17/01/2021 I sprayed the surface of the soil with water a couple of times to keep the soil moisture at the surface. 17/01/2021 Watermelon Automatic sprouted. There was a seed coat left on the stalk so I had to remove it by hand, but a nice photo motif. 22/01/2021 I watered the plants with a small amount of water to which I only regulated p.H at 6.4. Farm: 24.7 degrees - 55% humidity I'm quite late with the publication of the diary, the reason is the large number of photos I take and then I need to find time to put everything in a pile, along with the notes and type everything nicely. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? They are gaming weight on buds nicely as well. Aroma OMG I am sensing ripe sweet fruits, a bit woody and gasy. Runoff approx. 50-100ml. 04/10 Day 73 Everything going great. More amber trichomes, almost all pistils hairs are brown. These girls are almost ready. The Day it's just around the corner. 05/10 Day 74 Last watering, in the morning approx. 1.5l per pot. At midnight lights out for good. 06/10 Day 75 Uploaded 2 clips from last night. Trichomes are on point. Some buds 50-70% amber and they did gained some weight overnight. Just one more night of darkness and will harvest! 😎 07/10 Day 76 It's done!!! Harvested and trimmed. The room is short of Space, but buds are well growing. I had yellow marks starting on the leaves and I decided to add a bit of calmag, it looks like it might be good. I had to cut off few leaves, and I have reorganize the disposition a bit for more homogeneity. All looks good.
