Hey guys, update week 2 this week I decided to do a video update to change it up, I also didnt take the plants out of the plant this week just gave water. They are all happy and grow at a nice rate, still no fertilizer just water in Sonnenerde living soil, even though the size of them compared to the pot size makes me worry a bit. Lets see what the next week has in store as we continue this journey together. I have to say I like these genetics a lot, all making nice trichomes and developing a beautiful aroma, solid plants, not one of the 4 doing funky things. Solid genetics !

Die Pflanzen werden durstiger. An einer Pflanze sterben unten bereits die ersten Blätter ab. Ich vermute, dass ich zu wenig dünge. Die Blüten sind noch relativ klein aber die ersten Blütenstempel sind bereits orange. Die Pflanze hat laut RQS noch 3 Wochen Blüte also werde ich von 2 auf 3 mal düngen die Woche erhöhen und generell etwas mehr Wasser geben. Trotzdem denke ich, dass die Entwicklung ganz ok ist. Oder seht ihr das anders? Gebt mir gerne Input. =) ###English### The plants become thirstier. The first leaves are already dying at the bottom of one plant. I suspect that I am not fertilizing enough. The flowers are still relatively small but the first pistils are already orange. According to RQS, the plant still has 3 weeks of flowering so I will increase the fertilization from 2 to 3 times a week and generally give it a little more water. Nevertheless, I think the development is quite ok. Or do you see it differently? Please give me some input. =)

Today she got the last time the organic vega fertilizer, since the lighting was switched to 12/12 about 6-8 days ago and started to produce her flowers. The next dose is the first dose of Canna Bio Bloom ☺️. Tomorrow I will take 2 - 3 shoots down from the bottom, that the full production goes to the thick buds above and will not be wasted on small popcorn buds at the bottom 😍🤗. 11/20 I did quite a bit of feeding last week and her top is getting very heavy. I’m having trouble keeping them standing up. I was going to take down one branch but I think it would cause the other branches to fall so I’m just gonna try and keep balancing them maybe for another week then I’m gonna cut them down. I have three more and another tent. I’m flowering them at between 86 and 90 W with the Mars Hydro lighting seems to do the trick I’ve had the same plant growing I think for over a year now I keep taking clones and then I take another clone. This is the first time I’ve attempted to do that and now I can see. I’m glad that I did because I made up for seeds that I managed to kill along the way. I always blame the seed company and then I find out a year later that it was something I did so I try not to complain too much about that. 11/21 I took down one of the branches yesterday she was giving me trouble. I sent a message to the other ones. I think it helped they really starting to produce now. They’re really starting to fill in now. I could take them down but I want to keep them going maybe two weeks as long as you’re still bulking up I want to keep going and I have one branch that will probably dry down to, a little more than half an ounce. It’s not really big, but it’s pretty nice and considering these were just clones these are branches. If you look early in my other diary, they work great. They’re looking a little crispy from a little too much nutrient I’m gonna give them just some plain water tomorrow and start backing way off on all nutrients. I think they have about another two weeks to go maximum. They’re really filling in nicely if I don’t stress them out they fill-in really good. Should probably get at least a dry ounce off of each of these branches. 11/22/23 I dried one of the branches didn’t get a lot. It’s very nice densely packed. Smells good it’s enough for me. 11/25 Saturday morning. I took a branch this morning. I have two on one plant and three on the other still going. I’ll keep them going if I can if they’re still growing I turned the light down to 89 I don’t really benefit from light that’s too bright toward the end of the grow it just melts the resin it just is not good for them and they seem to go just fine. I have another blackjack clone in another tent that I am going to try and do the whole grow at 93 W with this light so far it’s going just great. I accidentally left it there and if I can do that and not stress it, I might get better plants at lower wattage. 11/26 these three blackjack clones are growing perfectly at 93 W. I can’t believe it. No sign of stress of any kind so I’m gonna keep it at this wattage. Also it keeps the temperature super low. I have the driver outside the tent so it doesn’t make that much difference and one of the pots I didn’t fill up with quite as much soil probably 2 gallons and they still are doing good so blackjacks are very fun to experiment with and it’s a great smoke I have one of the branches drying right now and she seems to get more resins as she’s drying it’s incredible. I have two that are flowering that are just about ready. I overdid the fertilizer so I’m going to do a clean today with the general hydroponics. I got a gallon of the flora clean. I’m going to leave them at 89 W for the rest of the grow that should be good enough. It’s great that I can do this at 89 W. I use the general hydroponics Flora, clean and watered both of them. I did 10 mL per gallon and I did about a gallon and a half. There was a lot of runoff. It was really gross. I have bugs in the soil. I sprayed the bag and the soil for bugs.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. DAY 63 / 9 weeks of flowering. Last pictures. Ready to harvest 😛 Last week the buds have swollen enormously. And with cold nights; temperature between 5° - 10°, the pink colors darkened, rather than turning purple. 👌 All plants are fairly even in ripeness. The buds are hard and sticky. 😍 The fragrance is mainly that of Gelato. The Scrooge has really impressed me! Despite minimal training and almost hands-off approach on my part, the plant has turned out incredibly robust and beautiful! 🌿 So far, there's no sign of the minty aroma, but I'm looking forward to drying and curing to see how the flavors develop. 🍃 It's been a rewarding journey watching this plant grow, and I can't wait to enjoy the final product! 🌟 Overall, it's been a lesson in patience and observation, and I'm grateful for the experience. ✨ All the best to everyone! 🌿

Last bit of supercropping, keep the canopy low as possible 08/22/2018 #5 is the only 9 fingered leaves plant, all other GTH plants have 5 & 7 finger leaves, #5 took 3 clones she's my keeper of this batch. She is very diesely citrus,musky smell.can smell her at 90". #4 similar smell not as much stink. #3 minty chlorophyll smell. #2 orange,citrusy,mint. Ps.
