~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2203 girls and they're on a roll! When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and they should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Loving this week! A week of healing and growth. Topped some side branches on the og kush plant in middle. I’m still stumped if I should top again? Or just let me veg for a few more weeks??? Using water in between nutritions. Made a mistake with one of the plants tied down. I loved the other pot it was tied too and almost ripped the plant in half! Oh man!! But she’s tapped and I’m recovery now! Super excited for the growth and learning! Loving how things are! Pink kush has been flowering the quickest, she’s growing well and her new leaves don’t show any sign on the claw so good thing I backed off of that two weeks ago. Her preflowers are turning purple and sometimes it almost looks as if she’s bleeding pink blood. I’m giving her big bud already as she started flowering a solid week before the others. Only giving a little lst and defoliation lately. Canna cheese just keeps stretching, I can’t complain because I let her go. I just hope she won’t overgrow her space. She has a nice thick stem and drinks plenty. Only a little lst and defoliation lately. Alien berries so far is the smallest of the bunch, although she’s the slowest to flower, I gave her one more dose of grow nutes before committing to bloom nutes for her. She keeps stretching and gets awfully bushy. Some light Defoliation and little lst. Strawberry Skywalker has a nice fat stem for its size, she’s short but wide and is throwing out some insane preflowers. She gets very bushy so I defoliate and lst her. In the next few feeds I’ll add big bud to the rest of them.

We are in week 6 since this was planted, She is getting taller and bigger for everyweek... I am not sure how long it will take til she hits flower, but I guess the summer sun is still giving her enough to be confident that she doesnt need her flowers yet.

it has grown wonderfully in the last few weeks. it is becoming beautifully bushy, just as i had planned. i will also switch back to the biobizz grow fertiliser for it. the fish mix attracts too many flies and other insects. she tolerated the FIMing very well.

Día 22 de vegetación, se realiza poda FIMing a las 4 plantas, que ya tienen 6 nudos, se ven fuertes y de un color verde muy sano, se riega un día con 250 ml. y al otro con 100 ml. se va variando entre agua con calmag, microvida o fertilizantes para mantener baja la EC. No estoy corrigiendo el PH como parte del experimento. Día 25 de vegetación, las plantas se han recuperado bien de la poda FIMing, se riegan a diario y cada riego con fertilizantes diferentes o solo calmag, para mantener una EC bajo los 800. Se siguen doblando las ramas y podando los brotes inferiores.

They already have a really great start. Both of the seedling pushed the seed shell off without any help. Every day that passes these 2 plants are showing there going to be really strong plants already. I'm already getting excited to try the final flower from these plants even thou there seedlings idk what it is about the name blackberry moonrocks just has me seeing stars I think these plants are going to be winners

Pretty happy with the grow and the harvest, the drying went well also! Each grow highlights changes for the next and this has been no different! I'll be making more training adjustments in the next runs to try and refine the vertical scrog and get to the point where it's a wall 1 bud thick! I know it will get there in the end it's just like relearning how to do a horizontal scrog! I just need to predict the way the plant will respond when the light is from the sides! Bravery and brutality during pruning I think is the key! 😂✌️💚

Hey Growers, end of week 6 from seed, end of week 1 of flower :) Plant #1 is looking healthy and has grown tremendously. I previously had them in a 24x24x48 grow tent but after seeing how much plant#1 was growing I went ahead and purchased a bigger tent 36x36x72. Light is about 17 inches away from the plants right now. Might have to do some LST so the top leaves don't receive too much light. P1 is filling up with pistils, looks like buds will soon begin to form :) I have not been able to figure out Plant#2 gender. It has different charateristics from plant#1. Earlier in the week I noticed P2 was not growing in height and the leaves were starting to look pale. Light is currently set to medium low 140 Lux X100. I reduced it to 100 Lux and after a few days it began growing again and its gaining back its color. P2 has given me minor problems since day 1 but its looking better now. Changed light cycle 12hrs / 12hrs I had issues trying to maintain humidity levels at 45%-55%, I might need to purchase a stronger dehumidifer cloned two plants and they are beginning to grow :) Its been an exciting experience so far, everyday learning something new about these plants. I sometimes stand and just stare at my grow tent analyzing little details about them trying make sure they are in healthy condition. My wife complains because I spend too much time with them lol. I know once these plants get more mature she will show more interest in them. La più piccolina di tutte la Cherry ma anche lei super cime compatte ed odore fuori dal normale, in attesa di essere secca e pesata anche lei, resina ovunque anche per lei, non vedo l'ora di fumaria, nonostante attaccata dalle mosche bianche per prima ha resistito molto bene alle avversità esterne. 1/2/23 she’s doing great I moved a leaf and noticed that she has tan lines. That is amazing. This lights incredible I took the two bottom branches that I usually trim off. I’m glad I didn’t because I got 1.83 ounces and 1.78 ounces wet. This plant has been the best strongest plant I’ve ever grown it’s really nice and it smells great. I’m gonna give the rest of her, maybe another couple weeks it’s just exciting to watch her grow. I’m not in a hurry to harvest. I do partial harvest as I go along. 1/3 I turned the viper spectra XS1500 light down to halfway which is 82.3 W. And the amount of energy still is more than two of my old spider farmer lights. I had no idea how important brand new LEDs are this is just fantastic. I bet I can grow an entire plant for probably 90 W. 1/4 yum yum omg smells gooooooood.. FYI, Just because a Gamorrean pledges their loyalty doesn't mean they wont eat your weed, lesson learned. 1/4 Just smoked some that had been drying for only 2 days. The smell was so strong like no auto I have ever smelled. This is like top shelf photo from the dispensary. I am totally impressed. 1/6 i’m going to set up a new tent. It starts with the power source. It looked really ugly, so I wanted to try something nicer. I got one of the TP Link power strips three individual outlet controls for the smaller tent that I will germinate in my use one to monitor the power of the light and I keep switching them around. It’s really nice to have. 1/8 I’m going to plant some seeds today. It’s Elvis’s birthday. I threw away a liter of Purpinator today. I’ve been having nutrient troubles, and I noticed a little that I had mixed up in a small spray bottle had started to congeale. And after I tried 6 mL of it in a gallon twice I noticed some plant damage. I don’t know if it’s that stuff or not but when I add something new it seems to cause damage. So I will never use that again. it’s taking me a month to set up a small 24 x 24“ tent I don’t know what’s wrong with me so I have two 27“ x 27“ and one 24 x 24“. The small tent will be for photoperiod also for germination, the other two are going to be for autos only. I’ve discovered auto flowers need their own tent and their own space, especially the way I train them. I top them after the 3rd node then wait until a couple weeks into flower and I soften the branches pressing them between my thumb & index finger to keep them limber then spread them out so they kind a look like a giant crab, but they grow up very strong and they don’t need support I was going to go with 5 gallon but I think it would be just too heavy so I’ll stick with 3 gallons. I’ll be starting to gorilla cookies this coming week probably tonight, but I’ll start the diary tomorrow. If you hold the phone up to the TV, it types out the dialogue . I’m gonna d mad max later don’t you wish you were like me easily amused? You get a lot less brains on your wall that way.

The pics and videos are from day 37 of flower. All 3 of these are starting to beef up a little bit, they have perfect bud structures. I'm picking up a creamy kinda vanilla smell on them each having slight variations but what do I know? I really want to grow all 3 phenos again sincenmy clone runs always seem to be just a little bit better. I said this on my last post but for anyone droppin questions in my DMs just comment on a journal I dont go thru the dms its alot of the same questions over and over. That way anyone can see the questions and responses and I'll try to do a better job at responding to comments as well. I always have so many diaries going at once I rarely stop and read them all until the very end when things slow down. Hope everyone had a happy halloween3👊
