This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds! Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!

These girls are getting bigger and bigger every day. I’d say week five is the beginning of pre-flower. I started with a very low dosage of nutrients to see how they will respond. I’ve had to tie them down quite a bit but it has helped branch out new nodes and Bud sites that are comparable in size to the main cola. With the small environment I’m growing in I’ve also had to do a large amount of leaf tucking. The EC and PH of the runoff was pretty spot on, I was around 800ppm, 1.6ec, and the ph was around 6.0. Overall I’d say that these plants are a hell of a lot happier than my other plants in the different medium. This is the Miller soils organic ammended soil, which is pretty decent but I prefer to control most of my grows so next time around I will be using either bio bizz light mix or light mix with 40%-50% coco and added perlite or pumice. I want to really see the full potential of these advanced nutrients products and see how they compare to other brands/amending with basic dry organics. I have so many seeds to play with so I will have a lot of diaries coming soon after these are harvested 😉

It's been an interesting week. I had to ask for help with resolving the intense smell coming from my garden... I can smell it from my driveway at this point.. I was advised that I probably turned my fan up way too high, which overloads the carbon filter on the end of my exhaust. I ordered another new one.. turned it down.. and I also had to cut down the cheese auto... all her trichomes were cloudy bit I definatly could have left her for another week... just couldn't handle the smell lol. Ask for help and you shall receive, thanks Growdiaries. And thank you Oozlefinch for the solid advise.. ✌️ I bought a rosin press this week and it's awesome.. she will be used for this grow as soon as things are ready. I cut out my backyard to plan for round #3 for all these plants.. plus a whole lot more! Process/ Environment changes: -Turned down my exhaust fan.. the carbon filter can't keep up with the amount of air being pushed through it.. in the water industry we would call this 'short circuiting'.... The Gorilla cookies is growing well. It's a tall plant with long nugs ( I hope the full out a lot more). I would recommend supporting the branches at this point in the grow. There's a slight smell coming off her and trichome production was late to start compared to most the other plants I have... I suspect she will go past 90 days unfortunately, but I'm excited to see what the finished product looks like. Hitting her with compost teas at a pH of around 6.7 That's it.. I'm on auto pilot at this point.. there's not much I can do except sit back and wait. Thank you Fastbuds

here we are Guys, 11th week, 6th into flower, the girl is recovering nicely. she started to put some size buds and pistils are started back to grow white. the Led is working perfectly and the buds are really frosty as fuck. I hope she will still give me some nice weight even with the past big mistake. UPDATE: she's definitely recovering fast. at day 82 the buds are swelling, I apologise for all the colors shades but i changed lights in order to get the best shots.

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Getting caught up, had shoulder surgery 2 weeks ago. These girls are on week 7. Having to feed every other day, pots are light as a feather. So light, that I'm certain they are dead. You can see I topped the auto baby plant the other day. From my experience, I've had zero issues topping, or other high stress training with autoflowers, at all. Knock on wood. That pic was taken 2 days after she was topped. From my (limited) experience with autoflowers, I wait until the day I need to water my plants: do any HST, then water/feed. I really let my fabric pots completely dry out, so the plants seem to be so desperately hungry, they don't seem to notice that I topped or supercropped or broke a bud site, or.....anything, while they were eating! Apparently food and water distract' s them. Pulled my light up a couple inches because, taco leaf. This Ceramic MH light is great. Still under 24/0 light. No problems with temp or humidity. Keeping pH levels between 6.0-6.3 with Oregan's Only. Colas fattening up! Approximately 8-9 inches around. So pretty! Smell is not overwhelming. BUT no more crappy ipower carbon filter, it is crap. I'll get another brand for next grow. I live in a legal state, but don't want my house smelling like weed lol. I prefer to buy items that are Made in America. Any suggestions for carbon filters are welcome. I hope everyone is having a good week growing!!

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. Heavy training continues, foundation of plants is done, a lot of wires included, heavy defoliation and pulling of branches very two days, There is a 30sec video (10min video but accelerated) so ya can see how they like training :) All branches are left for now, let them rest from this week stress, next week is branch selection, one more week of veg and they will be ready for 12/12 They started to show very strong growth, also they started to drink 1.5L every two days. 😎Shalom brothers! Another week has passed and I am glad to share the results with you again. This week I continued to do all sorts of experiments testing my girl for strength. We survived lst, defoliation and cloning. And I also added 30 watts of red light with a wavelength of 630nm, using Samsung 351LH diodes.This spectrum enhances flowering, and helps the plant to form internodes with shorter distances, which will give more growth points for future buds. 👌Let's start with nutrition. I changed the frequency of watering, now my plant is watered 6 times for 20 minutes during daylight hours, every 3 hours. This week I made a nutrient solution with the following recipe: Water 183 ppm, 8l Silicon 4ml Сalmag 1.5ml GHE Flora: Gro 7.5 Micro 5 Bloom 2.5 pH down 5.5 ml Total 669 ppm, 5.6 pH 💪About training. Let's start with LST: Low stress training, abbreviated as LST (LowStressTrainig), is similar to the art of bonsai except for cannabis plants. This is a special technique of bending and tying plants to give them the desired shape. LST will also help you get a lot of massive buds by leveling the crown of your plant so that the lighting is more effective on it. Using LST will help you increase your yield and is surprisingly fun. 😈The following I did defoliation: Pruning leaves or defoliation is an old Japanese technique that has been kept secret for a long time. The main goal is the intensive development of the tree, that is, in one year the tree goes through a two-year growth cycle. This method consists in partial removal of leaves. Classically, only deciduous trees are subjected to such an operation. But, it is quite possible to do this with some tropical plants and not only, in order to bring them out of a prolonged period of dormancy. Defoliation leads to a decrease in the size of leaves and an increase in their number. As a side or positive effect, the rejuvenation of the crown can be considered, that is, new and fresh foliage appears, which will be better preserved and will have a more attractive appearance and bright color. 👊And as promised, I'll tell you about stimulants: GHE Root Booster - a natural supplement for the growth of the root system; promotes the growth and development of a rich, healthy root system. Great week with incredible growth. Responded very well to the topping and LST, just like their mother. Will continue with LST and some light HST until I'm satisfied with canopy coverage. Updates as the week goes. -8/18 - Further LST and some HST was used to try and spread the plants horizontally even more. -8/20 - Watering today, then a bit of HST. Growth is going well.

Day 84 Cut and hanged to dry. Day 97 Trimmed and put in jars to cure.

Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

We are officially in full bloom. The have been enjoying 6-7 hours of sun light per day for about 4 days now, then brought back in under the cobs. The girls are all exploding with growth and stacking what I expect to be huge buds.

Hi all, update from 11.7 2026. I harvested both purple Lemon phenos on July 11th. I left some of the lower and inner buds to keep growing a bit longer since they didn't get as much sunlight. The rest of the girls are still standing and finishing up. On the smaller Lemon #1, I found a few spots with aphids hiding on the underside of the leaves. I honestly hadn't noticed those little bastards at all :) They definitely weren't there last week. At this stage of flowering, I didn't want to spray anything on the buds anymore because I don't want to risk mold or bud rot. I removed as many as I could by hand, and so far the other plants are still aphid-free. I didn't weigh the buds wet. I'll post an update later with the final yield and dry weight report.
