For this grow I kept my setup a lot simpler than last year. Going with Jack 47 because, well, reviews are awesome and we've had success with Sweet Seeds germinating well. From the pics and videos you can see I've got a simple bucket for the plant with no air stone, pump, or other shit in the plant bucket. All that is in the reservoir. Should make it easier to clean, flush, etc. I'll be able to just pop the lid off (with plant in the net) and put it on a clean bucket with pH balanced water while I clean the rest of the system, then hook it right back up. I also over-designed so I could add a second grow bucket if I want. Don't have space for that at the moment but non-loadbearing walls are easy to move, right? Using General Hydroponics for nutrients and Hydroguard for good measure. Knock wood I'm not jinxing things by posting before I have seedlings.

My girlies are doing great. They're in their 4th of flower. I've noticed a lil bit of what looks like nute burn on their tips even though I've only been giving Bloom once a week. I've been giving them a lil calmag twice a week so I'm cutting out the calmag and just water only between feedings. So far so good! 😝 8/11 - They're thickening up but the nute burn is looking worse even though I haven't given them any nutes since last Friday. It's been straight pH'ed water only. PH of the run off water was about 6.5. I can definitely tell that the granddaddy purple plants has a longer flowering period just from the way the flowers on both GDP's are not getting as full as fast as the bubba kush is. Some of the GDP flowers are starting to show signs of purple... spotted a few purps on the BK too. I'm so excited for this grow. I know yall are sick of reading me say that by now bwuahahahahahaaha 😍😌

Grow diary / germination / The new adventure begins Hello, dear grower friends! 😊 I’m back with a new grow diary and a new adventure. This is my second grow and I’m excited to try new things and improve my skills. I’m thankful for all the support and feedback I’ve received from you . 🙏 In this week’s update, I want to talk about: My setup My seeds My germination My expectations My setup My setup is still an 80 by 80 by 180 cm tent, which is a bit small but nothing else fits in my room. I’m very satisfied with it for the beginning, but I will get a Homebox for the third run because I find the zippers better processed and the inlay reflects more light. My lamp is a LUmatek 200 watt pro edition, which I’m absolutely happy with. It has great handling and processing and it gives enough light for my plants. If I get a smaller tent for a mother plant, I will order from Lumatek again 110 percent. My exhaust is twice as strong as I need it so I can keep it at a quiet 50 percent. It keeps the air fresh and the temperature stable. The temperature is around 25°C and the humidity is around 60%. I water my plants manually according to the Biobizz fertilizer scheme. I use organic nutrients and adjust the pH of the water. The plants are in Lightmix now and will move to 20 l fabric pots in Allmix when transplanting. My seeds As seeds I have this time: 1 Orange Sherbert from Barneys Farm 1 Bruce Banner 1 Apple Fritter 2 Lemon Gelato from a collaboration of Zamnesia and Kannabia These are all very special strains that I’m curious to try. The Lemon Gelato seeds were limited to 500 and I hope they will be fantastic. Of course I have conserved some for later grows. My germination I germinated the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours and then planted them in small pots with Lightmix. They sprouted after 2-3 days and are now showing their first true leaves. They look healthy and happy, except for one Lemon Gelato seed that didn’t make it, which was probably my fault. The other one is very lively. I have them under the lamp at 18/6 light cycle and at about 50 cm distance. I water them every two days with a spray bottle and a little bit of root juice. My expectations I’m looking forward to the new challenge, especially because it’s a mix of 4 strains this time and I hope we can build on past successes. I want to improve my scrog technique and top the plants at least 3 times. I also want to try mainlining on one of them. Plants are doing well. I'm going to top them soon. I tend to wait on topping to reduce stress, you never want to remove more that 1/3 of the plant( to each their own). I'll be FIMing the Sensi Star and Topping the Peyote. Pretty sure I stunted the White Widow from exposing it to the cold snap we had back in late February. I will top it and try and clone off the topping and see if that clone takes off. In my past I cloned plants outside in Mid June back in 2012 on 5 foot Agent Oranges, those clones caught up to the plants outside and eventually outperformed them, in less than two months. Never would have found that out if I didn't try. Happy growing everyone!

While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Everything going well since I’ve upgraded equipment 2 weeks into flower can’t wait to see the end result 👌🏻

And we're in the fourth week! This little girl is slowly entering the flowering phase. During the week, she drank a total of 1 liter of water with nutrients (last week of veg) and grew 15 cm. The lamp is now at 75% at a height of 30 cm. In the middle of the week, I defoliated a little. I think that in the middle of the fifth week, I will defoliate a little more, but without overdoing it. The fifth week is just around the corner! Time flies!

All girls have been soaked and awaiting soil apart from the strawberry bannana which is a late comer ✌️ let's hope they are okay as I did originally have 2 of each which I had too reset and decided too do small pots instead ✌️🌱💚

So guys , after 4 days o germination in 0.3L pots , i decided to move them for 10-14 days in 2L plastic pots . I use the BioBizz Light Mix Soil , first time also , but until now i ve used beside the feeding scheudle also Soil with High Levels of NPK , so we burned the plants and stoped them grow. A LUMIX 250 W vegetative light bulb keeps them warm and in 2 weeks abot , i will do tge last transplant in the 15L fabric pots . Gold Label Nutrients and Supliments , whole professional line in small bottles ( think some of them will last for years ). Visible Mistakes and worries : - dont know if the Light Height is good now - when should i start the spider-mites and other acarians treatment or pre treatment -what level of humidity should be inside in diffrent growing stages -I m so scared about Male plants , i have no experience at all how to spot them I had a hard week , hope you had a better one . Day 66 : This lady continues fattening, faster now. Also crystal production increased. The breeder suggests 70-75 days. For now all crystals are almost milky with some cloudy. So she need 1 week for sure, maybe a bit more. That gum smell is so attractive, you want to eat it. Reduced bio grow and removed Calcium. Edit 70 : I saw the first ambers, very little. So i watered for last time with juices Next watering will be flush to reduce the juices in the soil. So if initially has 1200-1300ppm i want to reduce it to 350-500ppm. After flush continue pure water until chop chop. This is my approach for all ladies always.

We’re closing in on what I’d call the subjectively ideal harvest window. Amber trichomes are now appearing on the sugar leaves, which (by rule of thumb 😄) means the rest are likely cloudy. The aroma is exactly as expected — like smashing your face into a bowl of cookie dough.
