Hello This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of veg. Getting her top, bigger, branches spread out, under the bottom rung of the cage. And I'll bring the smaller bottom branches up through the middle. It will work out good. The plant is doing good, but the leaves are so big, I might have to remove some so the light can get in to the smaller ones. I'm watering with 3/4 strength nutrient now. Don't need her getting too big. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. We are now fully into early–mid flowering and the crop is developing exactly as planned. Bud sites are well defined across the entire canopy, with uniform stacking and good internodal spacing thanks to proper SCROG management and selective lower clean-up. Environmental parameters have remained stable throughout the week: • Day temperature: ~24–25 °C • Relative humidity: ~50–55 % • VPD: ~1.3–1.4 kPa • PPFD: ~860–890 µmol/m²/s • DLI: ~38.8 mol/m²/day This setup is allowing the plants to push photosynthesis efficiently without showing signs of light or heat stress. Tops are healthy, leaves remain responsive, and flower sites are actively building mass. Nutrient strategy is focused on supporting flower development while maintaining balance: • Stable EC around 1.1–1.2 mS/cm • pH consistently adjusted to ~6.3 • Gradual reduction of Grow and controlled increase of Bloom inputs Some lower leaf yellowing is present, which is expected at this stage as the plants redirect energy and mobile nutrients toward flower production. Overall vigor, structure, and resin development indicate good root function and nutrient uptake. The coming phase will focus on maintaining this stability while carefully increasing demand to support flower bulking, always prioritizing quality, resin production, and final yield potential. In der fünften Woche habe ich es gewagt. Nachdem ich die Weiße Witwe schon etwas trainiert habe, wurde sie jetzt auch oberhalb des fünften Sprossknotens abgeschnitten. Dazu habe ich meine Nagelschere benutzt (siehe Video), mit der ich mir auch die Fußnägel schneide. 😅 Dann wurde die unterste Nodi noch entfernt. Jetzt hat sie noch vier Nodien übrig, die zu acht Blütenstände wachsen sollen. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich eine Pflanze getoppt habe. Um sie besser runter binden zu können, habe ich einen Haselnusszweig quer über den Topf befestigt. Das macht das Festbinden um einiges leichter. Die Cherry-Lady lasse ich ohne Training etc. wachsen. Sie ist aktuell ca. 40 Zentimeter hoch. Hier werde ich in den nächsten Tagen nur etwas entlauben. Die untersten Blätter können abgemacht werden. Sie sehen nicht sehr gut aus. Die Kirschen-Lady kann auch einen größeren Topf vertragen. Sie wird bald umgetopft. Der PH-Wert der Supermarkt-Blumenerde ist mit etwa 8 zu hoch. Der Idealwert liegt zwischen 6 und 7. Ich werde dafür Rhododendron- und Hortensienerde besorgen. Damit wird ein eigener Mix hergestellt. Solange bleibt sie aber noch in ihrem kleinen Topf, dem ich einen Mantel verpasst habe. Der Jutebeutel soll die Pflanze vor den Trauermücken schützen. Das abgeschnittene Teil der White Widow wird versuchsweise in einen kleinen Anzuchtbehälter gesteckt und ordentlich nass gehalten. Ich bin gespannt, ob es mir gelingt, die Pflanze zu klonen. peace & love

Using Dr Bronner’s Peppermint soap as a wetting agent. Started a lazy compost tea this afternoon. Third tea so far this year. June 24: almost ready for the second round of topping. Likely tomorrow. June 25: video show second round of topping to make the manifold.

The life part where plants did not have the upper hand over cultivation in the last periods, but it is returning everything to normal and I can concentrate on work left behind. New photos soon to resume where I had "abandoned". There were no big news on these particular plants, the bonsai grew by devices and were recently adjusted due to lack of time. I took more than 40 clones from the two monstercropping two-style bonsai that I mandated in bloom last week. The Honey Cream in the 0.5 jar has become very high, I made a lollipopping and a defoliation in the second week of flowering and today I will provide for further cleaning before watering. This week was a quiet week to avoid disturbing the beginning of flowering. I think the deficiencies are under control and there's no worsening to fear. Nevertheless, I will need to remain vigilant. The plant is starting to smell.

Hello Growmies, Our journey with Epic Buzz by Anesia Seeds, which began with germination on the 20th of January, has quickly progressed to an exciting stage. Just three days into the seedling phase, which started on the 21st of January, the seedlings are already showing promising signs of vigorous growth and health. Each seedling, displaying a lush green hue, stands uniformly in both color and height, indicating a healthy and robust start. Their growth over the past three days has been remarkable, reaching heights between 5.5 and 6.5 cm. This growth spurt is a clear indication of their strong developmental potential. The transition to their next stage of growth was marked by a careful transplantation process. As soon as the first tap roots appeared at the bottom of the easy plugs, we moved them to 1-liter airpots. During this process, we treated the easy plugs with Great White, aiding in their root development. The airpots were prepared with Biobizz Light Mix, providing them with the necessary initial moisture. Since then, we've refrained from additional watering to let them settle into their new environment. Lighting has been a key focus in their care. We've set the light intensity to a gentle 15-20%, which translates to about 150 PPFD. This level ensures that they receive enough light for growth without being overwhelmed, which is crucial at their current seedling stage. In other exciting developments, the Tent X Controller has arrived. Although it's not yet in the same tent as our Epic Buzz seedlings, its presence is a significant addition to our setup. We've shared an unboxing video to showcase its features and setup process. The controller is now operational, tracking data efficiently. Its performance has been flawless, and any queries we've had have been promptly addressed by an incredibly responsive and helpful support team. As we look forward, our focus remains on the seedlings as they continue to establish themselves in their new environment. The Tent X Controller, set up in a different location for now, signifies an upgrade in our overall growing setup. We will continue to closely monitor their progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure they receive the best possible care.
