The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.

Replaced to bigger pot

Week 4 in the books. She started throwing pistils this week. Cruising along and handling the training like a champ. She's drinking about a cup of water daily and her roots are thriving in the runoff caught in the 2nd cup, which gets dumped before each new watering. Strong structure and starting to get a little smell. She smelled like celery leaves up to this point. I've raised her closer to the light to increase light intensity.

Successfully harvested Wapanga, unveiling a vibrant candy aroma and densely packed buds. Being my maiden experience with a Californian strain, the cultivation journey was thoroughly enjoyable. The plant has been carefully hung to dry, and the anticipation of tasting the fruits of this labor is palpable. Excitement lingers in the air as the drying process unfolds, promising a flavorful and aromatic experience upon consumption. Wapanga has undoubtedly left a positive impression, and I eagerly look forward to savoring the results of this rewarding cultivation endeavor. 🌿🍬

One more week up we go and on the last one i end up not posting more pictures or commenting, apologies for that, nothing much append any way, was a simple feedings and rotating the plant. For this week depending how she grows, and she is growing way more than her mom did, so in my head she is already a best, non so ever lets see how she turns out, have 2 babies from her growing for a next round, this one for next round will be moving to a bigger closet . Switched the 600 watt MH bulbs out and put the 1000 watt HPS in and Flipped to flowering on Saturday night. The girls seem happy with the additional light and nutrients. I waited till Tuesday night to do some defoliation. Still having issues with browning roots after completing water change.

Week 3 flowering begins for SLH. Added B52 to the nute mix and increased to 6L total feed. Bud sites are popping up all over her, I did a little defoliation on the lower inner most branches and a bit of LST. Looking forward to a good week! Thanks for checking out my grow. 👽🔥🌳

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying' and remains the 'Frost Queen' in the run she is a VERY happy girl! The #2 pheno, while different from her sister, is looking gorgeous and starting to really ramp up her trichome production! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking amazing with a generous coating of trichomes covering their flowers, especially on the #1 phenotype and both have developed a funky sweet, creamy aroma! I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where these ladies should start to look epic! 😍💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Dienstag war ein großer Tag für meine Pflanze – sie ist jetzt offiziell im Blüte-Modus! Das bedeutet eine Umstellung auf den 12 Stunden Licht- und 12 Stunden Dunkelheit-Rhythmus. Kurz davor habe ich sie noch entlaubt, um sie auf diese wichtige Phase vorzubereiten. Auch die Wasserzufuhr habe ich angepasst, sie entspricht jetzt den Empfehlungen für die zweite Blütewoche. Zum Glück ist das Problem mit dem pH-Wert endlich Vergangenheit. Das hat mir wirklich Kopfzerbrechen bereitet, aber jetzt scheint alles stabil zu sein. Das aktuelle Sorgenkind ist allerdings die Luftfeuchtigkeit. Sie ist momentan leider viel zu hoch, und ich muss mir überlegen, wie ich das am besten in den Griff bekomme. Das ist jetzt meine nächste große Herausforderung.

i started to intensify the feeding schedule as for Biobizz and i notice a nice stretch of the plant, in the last 15days she grew almost 20 cm which is good news. i struggle to have decent light outdoor but she is doing her best . the bud growth is not impressive to not say quite slow nonetheless i hope there will be a fast build up toward the last weeks , there is still plenty of time. My cat is still chewing on my plant from time to time, i think he understood that i care about it and every time is upset with me he takes a chunk off it.

So I am entering week 2 of the 12/12 flip, the ladys are showing sex so hopefully later in the week I will get actual pistils so I can start counting down flower days. Day 9 seen pistils but I had to perform a major defoliation as under the canopy was bad and I didnt want powdery mildew due to leafs sweating ect. Day 10 24 hours after defoliation, you could not tell I done a thing to them, im hoping its just a odd leaf now and then thru the rest of the flowering period. Any advice is welcome guys 🙏 I will be adding more fans for airflow. Day 12 of the flip and the girls are on there way to becoming ladys lol I think there's going to be a few nice kolas in there when done, ordered the new box fan for the floor to create more airflow to reduce the risk of pm and mold. I need to top up soil as roots are showing so under the net I go again. Wish me luck.
