Thursday, July16th. Solocup Challenge 2020. @Silky_smooth asked me to Participate. and well why not Iam always open to new Challenges, And I think It will be challengeing. Never grown in a Solocup Before So Iwas thinking a While wich Strains i should take, And i decided to take good growers and resiliant ones. I´ve chosen 3 Strains , 1 Photoperiod and 2 Automatics "Honey Cream" From RQS.... its a vigor Grower, resilant.... maybe toooo bulky.. we will see I started like always in soaking the Seed I took a little Teapot ( around 400 ml) and let them soak. I am thinking about tzthe Drainage Material i should take Claypebbles? Claygranules? Mesh? Perlite=? So Pls tell me what you prefer,,,, thy Friday The Seeds went under a wet Kitchensponge Saturday Nice long Taproot, so tomorrow it will get Planted Sunday Seed was planted. It had a nice long Taproot I took Claypebbles and let them soak and wash them a little then into the Jug and some additional Perlite Filled uo with my Soilmix and " Living Organics" Some drips of water.... done Friday I totally forgot to update... lool,,,,, she is showing up yaaay

Did some defoliation this week, not much but enough to create some airflow and unblock a few bud sites. Readjusted my DIY “floating” to take up some of the stretch that had gotten out of control, ❤️ that I can do that! The frost is real for this strain OMG, week 3 and it’s already as frosty as some of the Autoflower’s I have grown. Temps have been climbing here and there, we’re getting a lot of dry heat so that’s the plus at least, not a lot of humidity at the moment. I’m really wishing I had taken clones from these girls because I’m sure they are going to be insane if they look this good at week 3. 🇨🇦👊❤️

Pheeew... another intense training week is gone, and as I was thinking the past week the baby is a girl and started flowering already at around day 25, which I pretty early but considering all the stress of the 3 transplant and the massive LST it's acceptable. After reporting her in the final 20 Lt pot, no stress was encountered although and she start stretching pretty fast as plants do on preflowering. I introduced blooming nuts as soon as I saw pistols and everything now I'd going pretty smoothly. I'll give her the last 10 days of heavy LST and then I'll leave her doing her things. For now it's all, stay tuned, stay high!

Day 7 of flowering & so far we’re off to a good start. They’ve grown 6” since last week so that’s almost an 1” a day. So far I’m still watering every other day with 1/2 gallon of water each-6.3 ph & that seems to be fine. I might have to start watering everyday here pretty soon though or I’ll have to increase the amount of water I give them each time I water. I’m having fun, I hope they are too.

Day 38 and it is very fast as this baby has developed, it responded very well to the LST which gave it a more resistant structure with which it will support thicker flowers, it begins to fill with resin with a pleasant citrus / sweet smell. In the next week I will start giving you an overdrive to promote fattening in all the flowers

• FLOWERING WEEK #2 ✎ ANOTHER HEAVY LST

We used a 200L rain catcher to brew feed using General Hydroponics. Worked well, we just needed to add some PH solution as it was slightly acidic. We definitely made a few mistakes when transplanting last week, next season we will be doing things alot differently in terms of homes so they don't have to get transplanted so often.

DISCLAIMER START EC Value on weekly page is the actual value, my EC meter was not calibrated and gave extremely false values, that's why it went so bad, corrected it on the weekly page when I noticed it, the EC value in the comment is wrong, the rest is correct. DISCLAIMER END The plant keeps growing super slow and doesn't like "high" EC, after the Increase in EC last week it got stunted and a couple days later started to show tip burn. Really really frustrated and if this one was in my usual setup I would have tossed it out of the window. New growth after topping is also growing EXTREMELY slow. Did some defoliation to get light to lower nodes but ya whatever the plant doesn't care and doesn't want to grow. Unsure if it is due to this pheno, the new setup, the new light or whatever, to many variables to definitely say. I see this grow as a big experiment from now on and don't expect anything anymore. Added some Universol Yellow (high P) after lowering EC due to tip burn. Changed the light to my old one the SP3000 to see if the higher amount of far red is helping it to stretch. Plant started to flower properly mid week so I'll start to mark it as flowering starting next week. On one leaf there is a bud starting to form. Values are average of the day. I'm really settling into my stride. The plants are responding immediately to what I want them to do. Plant A has a wonderful structure, with four central colas (the island), surrounded by 8 colas roughly evenly spaced around the plant (the ring). The ring is lower than the island currently, as all colas that form it were originally bent horizontally to grow out. During the period of stress and slow growth brought about by manifolding too early, I was worried, but they all have pulled out of that phase, and are entering a phase of strong, fast vegetative growth. Plant B has a less defined structure, but the basics are the same. Because of the damage early, there was a lot of stretchy growth to compensate. On each plant, I am defoliating the tallest colas to put the brakes on the island so the ring can catch up. I am largely letting the plants grow, removing a leaf here and there to allow light to penetrate to the center of the plant. I have never removed a single growth tip, so there is a ton of yield potential in this setup. The plants are almost even, and ready to grow up and big.
