June 5: Cooler temperatures and no rain this week. Wind has been strong and a couple of nights near or at freezing temperatures. The greenhouses worked really well, but now to expose these seedlings to the full elements. Windy day today so expect them to get a bit beat up. Watered in with well water and covered the stem quite high with soil for more support against the wind.

Harvested today. Noticed a small amount of bud rot on a couple of top buds due to elevated humidity over the last few days. Affected tops were removed immediately. Only the very top buds were impacted, the majority of the plant was healthy and harvested without issues. Trimming done, moving on to drying. Final trimmed weight will be updated later plus a more thorough evaluation of the grow and strain. * Rest of grow info week 20

It's been another easy week in the Fastbuds tent. I've spent most my energy preparing my outdoor grow space for a wild summer. At this point, there's not much I can do except water and watch my plants grow. I've added videos of other plants in relations to the mimosa cake just for visual aid. I also added a photo of my cheese auto.. it's still drying! With the Mimosa cake auto I've been taking fan leaves off slowly for weeks now. This is a very busy plant. She is also going to run later than I expected. She's on day 76 and I suspect 95 to 100 days to finish time. I'll have to keel feeding her bloom nutes for the next few weeks; her 3 gallon bucket ran out of nutrients already. Feeding schedule: water, feed, water, feed Step 1- I'll take an aeration stone and use it to remove the chlorine residual in the water... this only takes 8 - 12 hours depending on water temperature. (I'm a water treatment process operator, I have checked several times in the past with my own Cl2 meters). Step 2 - add Calmag Step 3- add bloom nutes Final step - pH the water accordingly (very important that this is final step) A TDS residual of 500 ppm equals roughly 1 E.C. (I just double it)

UPDATE : Very aggressive defoliation was needed, (Week 4 day 27 ) room is only 3x5and was very full My goal is having a grow that is easy to maintain with Nice big passages UPDATE: They are showing no damage from the defoliation. Here we are day 55 for our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest. These girls are doing amazing. Top dressed a little late so they got a little hungry. Other than that doing awesome. Pollinated and producing seeds as planned. I can't wait to grow all these crosses out.

Growing well. Just fed 12 cups Ph'd water (6.3). Lots of cold humid air coming in from outside, plus with the half soil half coco mix I think they're holding water a long time. They're only needing water once a week right now. They were not impressed with the water-only feeding. Some leaves got burnt tips, some got small yellow dots that look like spores or insects but I don't think are either. I think it's some kind of nutrient or pH unhappiness. I only gave 2/3 of the amount of water I normally would, hoping that they will dry out soon and I can give a proper feeding and check runoff pH. I left them alone for a couple days and boosted the 1000w back up to 100% to dry things out a bit more. The buds loved it but I think it's damaging the leaves a bit. I put it back down to 75% just now. I forgot to adjust the intake fan from outside down to low overnight from medium during the day and leaf temp was down to 13.3c when I woke up. Can't be doing that either.

Had a few hiccups. Plants ended up developing a nitrogen toxicity from too much worm casting. I simply did a flush on them with water PH’d to 6.3 and allowed the soil to dry out
