Week 23 - kitty says hi! This lady is getting out of control. We're 4 weeks from harvesting. Autumn gets very wet and last year I had bud rot, so end of october is the last day. I really need to defoliate to give those buds all the sun they can get.

Overall the grow was simple and she took care of herself. Even after snapping her main branch in the early stages, she bounced back and didn’t miss a beat. She took to LST without any issues and was definitely a delight to grow. Will definitely be growing this one again and I’ll give a finally dry weight and smoke report in about 7-10 days.

Things are going fast, HulkBerry 1 look close to the end, I will start to wash it soon. I think the cookies gelato familly will end in something like 2 weeks, but not sure. Feel free to let me know what u think about. I got a real problem with the Royal Bluematic 2, buds are so small and weak. Not sure to bring it AT the end.

Flowering day 49 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone 😀. Another wonderful week goes by 👍. Both phenotypes are developing very well 😀. This week, 1 g enhancer per liter of water was added. That was the last time since they will be flushed next week :-). The trichomes are 60: milky, 10% amber and 30% clear. I think the harvest will take place in 12-17 days 👍. I'm very curious which phenotype tastes better in the end 😍 since both smell very tasty ☺️. Última semana ,he hecho lavado de raíces y he añadido agua limpia, bueno en resumen a sido una locura, cada una va a su ritmo en floración unas ya han acabado la floración otras están en mitad de floración y otras apenas han empezado a engordar el cogollo... Estoy haciendo lavado pero es una lastima, tener variedades tan diferentes, incluso de la misma raza como las Lili y unas han florecido bastante antes que otras... Total que en lavado de raíces, unas habrán echas bien en la floración, otras a mitad de floración y otras como las amnesia que son de 70 días ... La próxima vez intentaré al menos hacerlas, todas o sativas o todas índicas mezclar variedades tan diferentes a sido una locura , sobretodo en crecimiento, he sufrido de todo incluso con el hidroponico, se me taponaron los desagües por tubo pequeño, tendré que inventar otro mecanismo para el desagüe... Está última semana he echo lavado raíces con final flush, y he regulado el pH a 6.2 con agua de grifo y lluvia, también he metido encimas de limpieza así estarán una semana y si veo que se ponen bien amarillas , afilo tijeras...quiero que estén hiper limpias para que queden bien limpias de sabor...

The ladies have almost reached 40 cm in height, so we are switching to the flowering stage. For the next two weeks, they will receive fish mix before I switch to Biobizz Bio Grow. 💚💚

Cindy has been flipped to flower! Both plants in my tent have reached their max veg height and width. I did a preflower defoliation and flush and have flipped to a 12/12 light cycle.

From what I've learnt since, by defoliating and not ensuring sufficient reserves in the Substrate after taking their reserves from the bigger fan leaves at strip, this left 1 pheno more hungry than the others, but still all 4 suffered to some degree which was really disappointing. I was too busy enjoying the festive period with family so its a good enough excuse! ;)

11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place.
