Week 4 – Flowering (Day 22–28) 🌸🌱 At the end of Week 3 (Day 21) we carried out a deeper round of defoliation and some lollipopping. By now the stretch is coming to an end, with the plants settling close to their final height. We’ve also stopped foliar feeding, since every single plant is now covered in developing buds. To keep everything protected, we refreshed the beneficial insects, better be safe than sorry, how we say in German, sicher ist sicher. Already in this early stage of flowering, we can clearly spot differences in structure, bud formation and even the first aromas. Some phenos are showing exceptional promise — those will be the ones we’ll highlight more in the coming updates. 🔎 Pheno notes so far: ZR 43 – very nice structure, already showing early bud size. ZR 68 – robust side branching, healthy development. ZR 70 – compact flowers, stacking well. ZR 82 – tall, vigorous growth, strong flower initiation. ZR 30 - Fasciation, looks very interesting, I'm quite interested on how it ends up looking, having mutations like these in the grow room are not necessarily what one is looking for commercially speaking but for me is quite special, like a Zoap Rosé special edition! 😝 Zoap Rose phenos bring floral aromas with acrid undertones, giving them a distinctive edge already at this stage.

February 20, 2019 update: Pretty much just waiting for these girls to be ready for harvest. Everything is moving along nicely at this point. Planning on feeding until the end of February, then starting a 2 week flush - at least with the Cherry and DinaMed, I may let the Critical+ and Cookies & Cream go a little longer. Fed MegaCrop, Cal+Mag Pro and Mammoth P this week. I've used up the last of my Mammoth P at this point. It will be MegaCro & Cal+Mag Pro only until flush. All pics were taken with the lights on. I tried color correcting the best I could, but the pics really don't represent the actual colors very well. Usually I try to get some pics with the lights off also, but I was not able to do that last week. I'll make sure to get some better pics next time. 👍

Frosty Frostbanger isn't growing any taller. I started measuring the cola today for height and width. It is 10 inches tall and I am not really sure how one determines its width. I took a picture and will ask a question to someone who is more experienced than me. I plan on entering this cola in a contest, however, I don't really know what I am going up against. :)😬 I have continued to feed my plant on a regular basis. It has been hot enough here in this area that I water/feed on a daily basis. We have a few more weeks to go until its harvest time. I am curious to see how big the buds are going to get. I can definitely see the dense, tight, resin-soaked buds that glitter like fresh snow in a sparkling winter wonderland as per its description of Fast Buds. . Buds also appear to be very compact. Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

In the video you can see quite well how much work the defoliation of Mrs. Jealousy has been. I had to graze so many nodes and internodes, really gigantic, these genetics. We'll see how it goes. So let's start right away with new photos from this morning and of course a few suggestions from me. The profile of my beloved Sour Jealousy now resembles that of a closed tulip. It will soon reach its full potential and bloom as if there were no tomorrow. Last night I personalized the conditions a little more precisely and adapted them to the respective growth. Since Lady Jealousy is still withering a bit, I keep the humidity just about at the reasonable limit of tolerability for both fully flowering Sweet Seeds ladies. I think temperature and humidity is a good but necessary compromise here. Different strains require different conditions. Especially when growth is so different. I also find the tribes of the three protagonists interesting... In my opinion, it tells us a lot about the selection of phenotypes in breeding. So my dears, the day takes its toll. Time to sleep. And I would like to take this opportunity to express great praise. The effect and taste are really very pleasant, although it was not quite there yet. And a berry-scented taste - very pleasant. I'm already looking forward to the perfectly matured lady then even more... 🤩 Yes, everything is going great at the moment. I'm really happy and satisfied with all the girls. Tomorrow my Sweed Seeds Jealousy package will be delivered from Spain. Despite the circumstances there with so much suffering due to storm disasters, super punctual. We cause ourselves the most stress, because we have a completely distorted conception of freedom. Freedom does not mean being able to do everything you feel like doing. The assumption of having to do something all the time, is the main reason for stress. Only, when we have internalized, that we don't have to do, what we don't want to do: Only then, we are free.

This week i need to change the reservoir again, the plants drink solution just as I add fresh water the EC stays at 2.7 and i need to add PK and Calmag so that's why. The weather outside is very cold this whole week around -18 degree Celsius at night...this made my reservoir water go under 15 degree Celsius. Since i ran the Spider Farmer UV lights i noticed some purples on my cannabis plants i think it's their doing....i run it now for two weeks the UVs ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SE 7000 is hanged at 40 cm. over the canopy and runs at 520W. Plants are all doing well and growing fast. The lights are still a bit strong for these guys so I moved them lights up a bit. Fed with fairly strong veg mix, thena supplement and water only feed once they had dried, and then a strongv eg feed again at the end of the week. The plants are burning through Nitrogen very fast. The canopy is almost completely filled in. Once every hole has a node or two I will begin the flip into preflower. I defoliated heavily to increase the amount of light getting to the center nodes. By two days later the plants had bushed out quite a bit. I think one more week before Flip should suffice. The Maui clone has quite a bit more nodes than the seeds. But the seed plants have much sturdier and healthier looking structures. I am excited to see if any other phenos express themselves. The Maui clone has been a great version in previous grows,

I will start by saying a BIG THANKS at Barney’s Farm for sending their genetics. As always I will follow The Grow Boss growing recommendations ( except one of a kind under one lamp ) I will use Cellmax Nutrients as they have increased the final quality of the last crop. Germination have been done in water at first then in cotton once the germ start to show and finally when the germ is about 1cm long I put them in UGRO Rhiza Coco plugs with just a pinch of mycorrhizae powder. Keeping the plugs moist but not dampened ☝️ Seedlings have sprouted 2 days ago , in a perfect spring condition with no wind , on the 3thd day B4RNS says shall the wind start to blow and the wind started to came up gently.... doing my own Genesis 😄😂😊 (Growers tip: no wind = seedlings getting looney for the light will need a stick or support) [Day 4] Tranplanting into 1.5L pots Water + RootBooster + AllZymes

Wishing I would have defoliated more before adding the second net. Next run I will add the second net earlier. The 3 gallon is drying out super fast. With the high humidity I’m experiencing right now I’m having to run the dehumidifier right next to the tent to make a impact. Well, that seems to the last vegetation week fot this beauties. Now the got quite huge and the genetic diffirence between two strains can be seen. Today will switch the lights to 12/12 and let's go;)

Hoffe nach den Überraschungen in der letzten Woche verlaüft diese wieder ruhiger. Habe den Leitwert des Drain bei beiden Pflanzen auf ph6 und 2000 microSiemens Ende letzter Wiche reduziert bekommen. Interessanter Weise waren die Leitwerte bei den Pflanzen trotz exakt gleicher Wasser/Düngergabe um den Faktor 2 auseinander. Der ph-wert lag bei beiden bei 4,8 [Warum auch immer]. Hab die Werte durch Spülen mit Leitungswasser und Osmosewassermix mit Leitwert 500 auf die oben beschrieben Werte gebracht und hoffe das die Damen es mir verzeihen und mich trotzdem in 3 Wochen mit reicher und vor allem leckerer Ernte belohnen werden. Gieße jetzt jeden 2Tag, so viel, dass genügend Drain entsteht um die Werte zu kontrollieren. Drain liegt bei Ph ca. 6,0 bei max 2,5mS andernfalls wird mit Osmose oder Leitungswasser (0,8mS und Ph7.2) gegegengehalten. Da sie in Stofftöpfen stehen, ist es hoffentlich nicht so dramatisch etwas zu viel Wasser zu bekommen.

Removed powerbuds, caused ph fluctuations, but daaamn this grow is insane. Will be fun to se final weight! Been fighting this auto dwc for a while now. All green all the way, super nice terps menthol tones love it 🤩 soooon harvest, waiting for bit more trichromes and maturing,

First week of Flower and the girls are doing well. Skipped week 8 because there wasn't much of a difference from week 7 besides small curling of a few leaves. Problem assessed and fixed so no worries.
