New week starts. __________ 🌞10.05 I've watered my plants with 'Pre-Flowering' GHE nutrient mix and spraiyed them with 'Foliar nutrients'. 🌞11.05 Nothing for today. 🌞12.05 Nothing today. No feeding, no spraying. I'm patiently waiting for the end of a week to make huge defoliation. My babies are big. Too big. 🌞13.05 The same. 🌞14.05 Found few bent up leaf tips. Thinking what it is. Upd: I asked a grow kwestion and got an answer. As a result, I moved my lamps higher. 🌞15.05 The reddish 'rusty' marks shows up between upper leaves veins on 'RG'#2 I suspect sunburn. Asked a new grow question. 🌞16.05 It's definitely Phosphorus deficit combined with high temperature. I've measured income and outcome water and it was normal, so it's not an overfeeding. Watering with 80% 'GHE Tripart' bloom formula with adding 80% of recommended dose of 'Advanced PK' nutrient. Watering: - Ph 6.2, - CE 1.17 Drainage: - Ph 6.25 - CE 1.09 I can't change lamp-to-plant distance, but I can put other lamp in my grow box. I have 50 watt red light grow lamp and I'll change one of my 100W lamps to it tomorrow when the light will shut down. It will be 250W instead of 300W and that should be more comfortable to the flowers, I guess. I grew the mighty 'Critical' with this setup. Wow, ich bin begeistert! Meine ersten reguleren fem. Pflanzen bereiten mir große Freude. Schöne dicke und lange Buds, vor allen die getoppte übertrifft meine Erwartungen bei weitem. Sie wurde seit letzter Woche bereits gespült und heute habe ich auch bei der zweiten damit begonnen. Das Topping zahlt sich wirklich aus aber mit so einem Unterschied habe ich nicht gerechnet. Bin gespannt welchen Unterschied die Waage anzeigt. Großes Lob auch an Sensi Seeds für so einfach anzubauende Pflanzen. Die Genetik scheint sehr ausgereift zu sein und ein kleiner Rauchtest viel auch positiv aus. Dazu aber mehr wenn sie richtig getrocknet sind.

The plants are now growing slower in height and start to develop real flower clusters at all tops. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are bushy with lots of budding sites, but plant#2 is now 15 cm taller than plant #1, which is a little more bushy than #2. Both plants are healthy and still enjoy the normal recommended feeding schedule from Advanced Nutrients.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Day 71 - BEAST! a. her size is so large, and the buds are def "Big Bud"! there is resin everywhere, very fruity like pineapple express b. will be topping off the DWC all week with 6.0 water.. gradually diluting the ripening formula, 1300ppm right now, end of week should be at 400ppm, then flush week c. light schedule is now 14 hours on, 10 hours off. this allow the buds to mature properly and become potent, next week probably 12/12. d. still drinking 6 litres of water a day Day 72 - fat buds a. her buds keep swelling outward, the calxes are exploding, some stigmas are turning brown, about 5% b. these buds are very hard, cant understand how dense these are! c. really happy with this strain! Day 73 - 10th day of ripening a. the pistils are slowly becoming brown, maybe 7% of the plant has matured b. the smell is unreal, VERY fruity and gassy c. ppms have been controlled at 1300ppm with plain water diluting the pool Day 74 - flush beginning a. pumped out 10L from the DWC, and added 10L of 6.0 water, 650ppm b. the flowers are smelling very strong c. the buds are becoming ripe, the stigmas are turning colors Day 75 - pistils 30% orange/red/brown a. set lighting intensity to 50%, simulating the sun moving farther away from the plant like in fall b. drinking 5-6L a day still c. the buds are very hard, thick and oily, the resin on my hands smells very good Day 76 - maturing great a. cutting down the temperatures, and humidity and lessening the intensity of the light always causes nice dense matuation b. DWC running de-chlorinated tap water, 140 ppm c. next week is all flush week, and turning to 12/12 d. she is still drinking 5-6 litres of water a day! e. the buds are maturing very nicely, the smell is INTENSE! Day 77 - mature buds a. the buds are maturing, calyxes are swelling, and the buds are getting heavier b. about 50% orange stigmas, trichomes there are still some clears left, no amber visible yet c. DWC is being kept full of plain water, 160 ppm in DWC

Day 58: Everything seems to go smooth. I got my new lamp up, and are experimenting with dimmer, hang height, and space between the bars. This is new for me, my old lamps is garbage compared to this! But as I have 2 pre-/flowering girls, and 4 babies I decided to go with little space between the first 4 bars (for the adults) and the last 2 have some more space between (for the babies), and are not going all the way to the edge. The adults is higher, than comes the teens, and finally the babies so they don't get the same light intensity. I am currently running it pretty low, about 35% and will see the next couple of days how the girls will react Day 61: The girls are starting to hang a bit. I do not know what is causing it, or is it just normal? I took the pictures and video about 3 hours after the light turns off, so it might just be that they are sleeping? Other causes could be too little light, as I just switched to my new light, and are running it for the first time. Maybe I do not water them enough? The humidity has also increased, and is around 50-65%, maybe that is the reason? I also started using RO water, so could be something with the nutrients? Do any of you fellow growers have any idea? UPDATE: Big thank you to @Maltaherbman for your answer. I have raised the lamp a bit. I read 900+ ppdf on my phone before, and now I am getting maximum 800. This is properly not a correct reading, but at least I have it to compare with. I waited to see what happened after the light turned on. Ill took 2 new pictures, and the left lady is all ready recovered, the right one almost, so they might just have been sleeping, but ill keep the light as it is for now. Also a big thank you to you @GrowingGrannie - I keep the coco wet at all time. I have been flushing them a couple of times before, so maybe the watering volume this week is a little lower than usual. Also the watering volume is kind of an estimate, but I will take your advise and keep better track of how much I am watering, but I think its about 2-3L every 2-4 days
