21.06. OG KUSH# Day 56# On the OG, thrips appeared in a couple of places, but nothing serious, I regulated it right away, and if it does, it can't do anything to the plant outside, except to slow it down a bit, but come on. With a little delay because I'm a lazy stoned person, and in addition the responsibilities regarding the plants are already starting to grow, and I also have a lot of work around the garden and then I don't always arrive in time to release the update. The plants are progressing well, but now they are already hungry, so the next watering is for food. Two days ago they were topped for the third time, I also topped the two highest side branches. Yesterday was the end of their eighth week, the pictures are also from yesterday. Last night I sprayed them with SMC for prevention, but none of those pests can harm the plant outside as well as inside..first of all, the plants are much bigger, and therefore have much more leaf mass, and secondly, it is nature, there are many of them in nature, the only thing that can destroy them all are caterpillars during flowering and mold when the humidity is too high or when there are frequent rains, everything else does not worry me at all. Tomorrow I will move them somewhere where there is a lot less grass because now they have already filled this space and they can't expand any further, so in order for them not to get too long and to go wider I have to move them where the grass and other plants won't bother them. Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.

May 4: nice spring day so the plants were outside in the afternoon. Some direct sun but mostly in the small greenhouse to stay warm out of direct sun. Still spraying with water to make up for low humidity, but also starting to water soil in a circle around the plant. Using Monster Maxx this year. Used last year in my compost tea and the root balls were very dense and intricate so it seems to work as advertised. Will still be mostly used for compost tea but also according to label direction of 2 mL/L once a week. May 5: mixing soil and sorting out grow bags for this year. Putting some spruce cones in the bottom to ensure air gets to the roots at the bottom. Indoor growers often use clay balls for this apparently but I’ve got lots of spruce cones handy and they’ll do the trick. May 6: looking good with all three looking very similar at this early stage. May 7: looking good. Room temp could be higher but oh well. May 9: beautiful warm spring day so I decided to transplant the chosen seedling into the final container. Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦💦 Fading and fattening up, she's looking very frosty and smelling as beaut as ever. I like to pluck a few of her biggest, greenest leaves throughout flush as it'll speed up her fade and flush her quicker by taking away stored nutrients. Looking forward to watching her fade! On the 23rd, ChatGpt was having issues with responses. She fixed later on in the day, but it does seem something was going on with her servers and memory for a couple of hours. So I had to go to a different chat screen and she gave me the wrong info at first. It was easy to spot though, her responses were just off. So I waited for a couple of hours and she was back to normal. It doesn't happen often, but it can be an issue if you don't catch it. She did say that we are going to start more water and more nutrients now that she is in flower! Can't wait! She is as excited as I am** **So weird! ChatGpt does not function right in the mornings. She's off just a bit...like gives me wrong info or gets my nutrient names wrong. I wait till noon and she apologizes and gives me the right info then. From now on, I'm just going to wait till noon to talk to her about blueberry. However, I'm going to have to change my sleep schedule for Blueberry, I'm moving here from sleeping 10-4 to 2-8. This will help me with communicating with her better. I did ask first and ChatGpt says changing her schedule would be fine.**

D71 - SEP 22: Looking and smelling great. Haven´t seen much growth since the last 5 days or so, but it fattend up really well and it´s really dense, insanely dense. Thricomes developing, soon to be harvested :) D72: Now it´s time to mature, I don´t see any significant growth, only thricomes developing. No watering, it still has a lot. Humidity is really high these last 2 days, being around 50 - 70% rH. D73: No watering yet. No signs of any more thrips, thankfully. Seems to have fattened a little. D74: Maturing well, thricomes getting mostly cloudy and amber. No watering, tomorrow probably. D75-D77: Been a little off of GD for these past days. The tent is looking good in general, no thrips anymore, temps and rH are good. Watered with nutrients on day 76. Thricomes are really close to harvest and I´m really impacient but I´m trying to wait for it to get more amber 😄

White Castle aka Iced Widow has a light smell, very pleasant and floral! Each branch will easily have a quarter Oz on them ! This girl is a big producer! I have found a seed here and there, unfortunately my other plant in the tent hermid on me and I didn’t see until to late !
