5/12/2024 these plants just keep on getting fluffier and fluffier. Did a slight defoliation. The plant I did training on, seems to have better stackage than her sister. If lst doesn’t increase yield, then it at the very least will increase bud size/stacking. 5/19 end of the week, they're starting to pack on weight now. Pistils are turning a super bright orange color that has a pink tint to it that is super beautiful. The camera does not do it justice at all. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone. It's stupid easy to grow and the buds are just getting ridiculous. You could probably drop like 9 of these in 3 gal pots in 3x3 tent and just water and basic notes and do a sea of green style. Watch the humidity though.

She is now a skinny 17 inches tall. Defoleated all the bottom crap and cleaned her up. A little newt burn last week at 600 ppm. I have raised ppm to 680 so she may not be happy come the end of the week. She will have to get use to it. I'm sure she will be fine. Added second light, so it should get interesting.

Going well this week. Playing around with the cycle times courtesy of my new find, a 20$ repeat cycle timer. We will switch to flower as soon as the tent is available, hopefully do this entire grow on fog alone.😬 Root prune test, two plants on the right are getting pruned, the left are not. The goal is to build thick tap roots to form a beard-like rhizome. The largest root is roughly 5mm diameter. I believe it's working.

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Really good week with lots of growth. G1 is very frosty and is starting to put on some weight. Her phenotype is purple with a very gassy terpene profile. Can’t wait for her buds to fatten up. G2 is producing trichomes. She is green with a sweeter aroma. I defoliated both plants and removed the bottom third and some popcorn buds that wouldn’t get enough light. Frostbanger is stretching very tall and is towering over the others even if i raised them a bit. She is starting to flower so I hope it stops. Watering 2L every other day, added some calmag as I noticed some deficiency on G1. Light is at 100% at 40cm 800ppfd

Easy week of just watering every 2 days. Buds are really starting to swell and become frosty. I picked up a digital microscope to look at trichomes and they are beautiful. Not 100% confident at determining where the trichomes are but most of them still look clear so I still have a couple weeks. Feel free to let me know or correct me I put a photo of the trichomes up.
