Day 39 - Finally defoliated to allow air flow and space for the bud sites to eventually stretch upward in order to LST hopefully at the latest after this weekend. Everything was good they recovered well from training. Cranked the power up to 60 percent and raised the light.

Day 50 She is drinking 3 liters every 3 days. Noticed the tips are slightly nute burn so have lowered the nutrients slightly. Bud sites filling in and swelling nicely. Very frosty. Swapped big bud for overdrive.

In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

Well it finally happened, the girls have outgrown the 4x4! Was mid week and was having a hard time keeping humidity below 65%. Thought of defoliating, but can't keep doing that weekly or it will shock them sooner than later. So I decided to move the front left plant to the 3x3 under the Photontek SQ300W, giving the girls in the 4x4 some much needed breathing room. Set about retraining the plants to maximise space in the big tent, and then flattened out the lonely girl in the 3x3. Crazy enough the 4x4 still looks full by end of week, and the one by itself is getting close to filling the 3x3! This could be a pretty big grow by the time we finish 🤞. Have the solo plant running on the older Autopot valves with 6mm hose, and already had one clogging issue. Seems really early on, in past would take 2-3 weeks so thinking maybe I didn't have the lines 100% clean to start. Either way easy fix just blow out the clog and flush the lines with a liter or so and back in business. Always remember to flush the on/off valve as well as the main valve in the tray. Otherwise raised the lights in 4x4 to their max height (5" from roof) and took all the slack out of the cables to keep them off the lights. Adjusted the ties on last day of the week, but things seem pretty set now in the big tent so will just be widening out the lone girl once she grows a bit more. I'm sure by end of week that tent will be packed as well!

- We had a flying start until 7-10 days ago when we noticed some toxicity early signs, * Dark green leaves, * Slow bud progress * Burning tips, * Crispy leaves. ⚠️ PH testing at mediums(soil) run off and the confirmation was there. Too low PH (<4) & the roots started to lock down = (slowing nut - water uptake) -> slowing transpiration -> showing ☝️ toxicity-deficiencies. - We stopped feeding and started to flush with tap water at 7 PH (3 waterings -7l/plant), at first run off was really low (under 4 PH) and after the flush we were at 5 PH. - From now on we will adjust our waterings at 6.5 PH and start microdosing atami PK and snacks. - The plants responed quickly after the first flushings and we will be back on track fast. - Room smells like sparkling lemonade 🍋 only when teasing the buds, the humidifier/ionist keep the smells low and fastening the transpiration. * Update at half week 6.👇 - After flush we start feeding with the atami duo and some snacks, the PH steady at 6.5. - Buds fattening faster the last days.

flipped to flower a couple days ago. you'll see a defoliation in the timelapse, they bounce back just so quick it's insane. just barely started stretching yesterday/today. super excited for that and to see how my canopy / quadline works out in the end. i've gone down a whole living soil / organics rabbit hole recently with BuildASoil and One Straw Revolution etc etc. I really think I'm going to switch to large living soil beds for my next grow. That said, I've started adding in some foliar and root drenches with organic products - BuildABloom, fish hydrolysate, freeze dried coconut and aloe. Plants seem to really be enjoying it, after applying they just seem so happy. really happy with the smell I'm getting and don't even have pistils, much less flower yet. So that's pretty much where I'm at. Wyze camera dropped the ball on the timelapse for the...sixth week in a row. I set it up, it seems to be running fine all week and then at the end it's missing days and corrupted. I got my hands on a linux script to make timelapses out of the raw footage, so this week I'm just recording continuously and going to try and run that.

Day 80 This morning I started defoliating Tropicana. She will be in the darkness for the next days. I already harvested a part of the head flower and let it dry trimmed. Because of extreme weather conditions and very high humidity I got a little bud rott. I found it out quit early I think. So I hope nothing will not happen any more. Just harvesting relaxed and drink a Tropicana tee. Day 81 I decided to cut her down in the evening. The humidity in the basement room is high and I don‘t want to risk here anything anymore. Waiting for my first homegrown weed to be vaped. Day 82 Tropicanas flowers hanging to dry in my basement. I check them once per day with a strong light. Day 83 Same same. The smell is wonderful like a bit of gas combined with a fruity flower bouquet. Our neighbors in the house like the smell, too. 🙏 Day 84 I could try my first homegrown weed. It‘s absolutely tasty and have a very smooth vape. I was very surprised cause it‘s not cured yet. A longer vape report will follow when it‘s dried and cured. Day 88 All flowers, sugar- and tee leafs are trimmed and filled in glasses for curing. I open twice per day for 20 minutes. Boveda packs 58% inside. I will fill out the rest of the diarie when my buds are dried, cured and vaped. So far this was a very exciting journey for me. Growing cannabis and even legal on our balcony. As of March 27, Day 7 of the grow, the seedling is doing alright but showing minor cal-mag deficiency. I will be doing a little cal-mag foliar spraying to help get through this delicate period. I turned on my HLG-100v2 light and have the seedling vegging under a 20/4 hour light schedule. I have transitioned up to .8EC as increasing the cal-mag in the coco is important after a week of low EC fertigation. I maintain a 5 gallon nutrient reservoir with an air stone and H202 to keep it sterile, and have a pump to automatically water 3 times a day for 20 second intervals. March 29, Day 9: I am still trying to correct the minor cal-mag issues, but the Euforia is still growing at a pretty good speed so I am not too worried. March 30, Day 10: running a humidifier under a clear dome to get the RH up for the seedling.
