Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Strong genetics, resistant, fast enough, easy to grow and never pretentious. I will try further training techniques on this strain, while waiting to make more room in the box to plant the Red hot cookie as well. If you like sweet flavors and fragrant plants this is definitely for you! I used overdrive fertilizer again this week. My God, girls get more beautiful like this. OMG OMG OMG finding hard to put on words all i am felling with this one, she was a delight to grow and without trying yet her medicine she wen strait to my top 3, i mean super strong Mama, strong to everything pests you name it, amazing structure her terpene profile is taking me back to the 90s with her almost like gasoline smell mixed with limes and pines OMG cant wait to try out this one much but much respect to DutchPassion on this creation of them she is so so so , like glue that you cant touch without getting it everywhere <3 <3 haded the last 3 weeks and harvest time-lapse i fell like this one could have gone more than the 71 days in flower that she did, but there is no time for that in this run but i will run her again thats for sure and a must for me. Tested the pH of the runoff and saw that it was 5.0 so I continued to water the plant while using a small dose of a liquid nutes until I had a runoff of 6.3. I did some LST for the last time just to increase the light to some of the inner bud sites. Also did a bit of defoliation

ok guys so these are the last pics of her before harvest. after i took off the LST she just fell all over due to the weight of the buds and i use silica so these are some HEAVY buds! ok guys so for the smoke report sh seems to be a pretty balanced stone to her, im guessing 60/40-ish hybrid that i can smoke mid day and not get too tired from yet i do get relaxed toward the 2nd half of the high. i currently have another one growing now!

Fungus gnats were in full effect here due to the Down-to-Earth potting mix. That stuff doesn't drain worth a damn! I had just sprayed the plants with neem oil and soap in this video... and needless to say that didn't turn out well (more to follow) In other news, the French Macaron roots were growing like crazy at this point.

And here we are! The end of week 7. And these girls are basically ready. I'm gonna wait a few more days but by Tuesday I predict that I'll pluck them. They are just perfect looking. Fat buds loaded with resin. The smell is interesting. A subtile sweet sugary smell. With a hint of fuel. Very hard to pin down and will be curious with how the final product turns out. I've been ramping up the UVB 310 over these weeks. Now it's been at 4 hours for the last few days. The girls don't seem to mind. Idk if it has had an effect or not at this moment but I plan on continuing it in the future. Watering every day or two. Not giving them as much now tho. Letting them dry out a little more.
