Hello Growmies! Welcome to Week 3 of flower of Stracciatella in a bucket! this week the plant continued her stretching, received aggressive defoliation and finally showed sex! I'm hoping to see the beginning of buds soon. I cleaned up her entire skirt, big leaves that were essentially just sucking up energy, small nodes that would never have grown to anything etc, when I do this I usually leave a few ugly big, energy sucking leaves, my reasoning behind this is if the plant struggles from a mobile deficiency, it will pull those nutrients its deficient from these bigger leaves, indicating me that there is a problem, without and before the sugar leaves getting hit. that's the theory anyway aside from stretching I also messed up the light schedule a couple of times this week, at one point in the dark cycle the light came on for 20 minutes, and then last night I left the tent open during dark cycle for 6 hours, hopefully this won't cause the plant to reveg, or delay her flowering I'll be keeping my eye out for any possible hermies.

29.6 I'm little late on this update(and I missed a week I think) but: Girls growing like crazy now. I topped that topped plant ones more and also pinched couple new shoots. New tech for me let's see how it's turning out. I counted it has 16 new shoots starting 😍 I may have to put a net in there before flowering just to divide space and to provide some support for those coming colas. Very healthy plant these would be crazy big if I'd transplanted earlier. But I'm happy with these. Gonna have little space not problem but something to solve anyhow with spacing..yes.. Gonna start flowering as soon as my topped plants are fully recovered and grew proper new branches. 3.6 Today I switched to flowering. So tonight girls wake up from first 12h darkness. Tent is pretty full. There is also one Auto Royal Gorilla from my balcony grow. It got too big for my balcony 😅 But yep next update be flowering week one. 7 days from today. Happy growing all!

Mismos riegos que la semana anterior de acuerdo a la tabla de advanced nutrients. Las 4 nenas que están en floración(maceteros de 11lt) beben mucha agua, 8lt cada dos días y reciben un riego a la semana con nutrientes, el resto de riegos sólo con agua. Mientras que las otras 2 que siguen en vegetación (maceteros de 30lt) están bebiendo 9lt cada tres días, también con sólo un riego con nutrientes por semana. Saludos! ***English version*** Welcome to Week 4 of Flowering! 🥦🥦🥦🥦 Hey everyone! The fourth week of flowering has begun, and it looks like the stretch phase already wrapped up last week. There hasn’t been much vertical growth—Runtz A now stands at 48 cm, while Runtz B has reached 59 cm. Today, I didn’t do a full defoliation but simply removed a few larger, obstructive fan leaves. The buds are visibly increasing in size, and Runtz B is leading the way with impressive speed. She seems to be about three days ahead in development compared to Runtz A. One of this week’s highlights is the incredibly intense aroma filling the entire tent. The sweet notes remind me of a mix of ripe tropical fruits and berries—absolutely irresistible! Although the two plants have some visual differences, I’m now convinced they share the same phenotype. Everything is going according to plan, and I’m excited to see how the buds continue to develop in the coming weeks. Die vierte Blütewoche hat begonnen, und es scheint, als wäre der Stretch bereits letzte Woche abgeschlossen gewesen. Viel Höhenwachstum gab es jedenfalls nicht mehr: Runtz A misst nun 48 cm und Runtz B 59 cm. Heute habe ich keine vollständige Entlaubung durchgeführt, sondern lediglich einige größere, störende Blätter entfernt. Die Buds nehmen nun sichtbar an Größe zu, und besonders Runtz B legt ein beeindruckendes Tempo vor. Sie scheint in ihrer Entwicklung etwa drei Tage weiter zu sein als Runtz A. Ein weiteres Highlight dieser Woche ist der unglaublich intensive Duft, der das gesamte Zelt erfüllt. Die süßlichen Noten erinnern an eine Mischung aus reifem tropischen Obst und Beeren, einfach unwiderstehlich! Obwohl sich beide Pflanzen äußerlich unterscheiden, bin ich mittlerweile überzeugt, dass sie denselben Phänotyp besitzen. 27.08.2024 D48 since cutting, lady starting to bush like their mother, as i did nt have place for 8 massive bush in the tent i proceed to some pruning and set some bud clip. overall look GBC #1 16 inch, flowering GBC #2 16 inch, flowering GBC #3 16 inch , still in veg, 😰 GBC #4 18 inch, full bud mod 😍 GBC #5 18 inch , full bud mod 😍 GBC #6 19 inch, flowering GBC #7 20 inch, start flowering👍 GBC #8 18 inch, flowering i will not weekly uptade, but keep you tuned

So we are still recovering from light stress. The stress is leaving as shown in the new growth on the top. Some might say this is nitrogen burn.but it cannot be as it's organic, micro dosed alaska fish emulsion. This is my first rodeo as I've been gardening for 20 years now. The only thing new to me is the LED lights. Hopefully those two phenos turn out to be male. Because I just don't see them being very vigorous for the duration of the grow.

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.
