Experiencing a lot of issues with the LED though, because of the high humidity in the tent when the lights are out, have to manage that some how... Basically the led matrix fails and blinks till the humidity lower, with this i loose around 1 hr of light a day till it starts all leds... A strange thing to experience! Forgot to start with the flowering booster, so this week missed Big Bud, but still i gave frequently some Bud Ignitor at least. Next watering Bud ignitor and voodoo juice goes out, Big Bud and Velo Kelp come in to play. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Crazy growth out of this girl, super vigorous, loads of branches, i'm very happy till now with her, super strong. Just letting her do her thing now, no more messing around, just pure contemplation! 😎

Autoflower Update – Week 6: Ztrawberries Welcome to week 6 of the Ztrawberries! They are looking absolutely amazing and have gone through the pre-flower phase without any issues. They've grown so tall that I was genuinely worried they might never stop stretching! Around mid-week 5-6, I decided to turn up the light to its full power of 600 watts. This ensures that as they enter the flowering stage, the buds will develop with maximum intensity right from the start. For the past four days, they've been getting 2 liters of water each, as anything less leaves them too dry within 24 hours. They’re also loving my Advanced Nutrients fertilizer, which is keeping them perfectly healthy and vibrant. I’m really excited for the flowering phase now! Based on my current experience, I’d estimate at least 100g per plant, which would make me more than happy. Let’s hope everything continues smoothly without any major issues! 🤞🏻 Autoflower Grow - Week 6 Update Everything is progressing positively with the plants. They've now fully entered the flowering stage, and it's exciting to see their development. Each day, the white pistils are becoming more prominent and continuing to grow, showing clear signs of healthy blooming. I'm hopeful that the entire flowering phase will go smoothly and result in a fantastic outcome. Fingers crossed for the best!🌱

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Today is day 111 since the plants sprouted, and day 55 of flower (week 8). This will probably be the last update before taking the plants down for trimming. The buds on the Papaya Sherbert are starting to get some fox tails, and I don't want those to get too long when I take them down for trimming. The trichomes on the buds are looking fine, even though I'd prefer to see more amber. The Orange Sherbert is looking very leafy, and I'm not looking forward to trimming it. Overall, I think I'm expecting 7-8 ounces in total, and most of that will come from the Orange Sherbert. I've stopped giving them nutrients, and they're getting FloraKleen to remove the salts from the nutrients I've been using. They'll probably get plain water for another few days before coming down.

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. Again a easy week...just refilled NS every 2 days (about 20L each time) PH was constant @5.9-6.0 and EC was 1.3-1.2 all week It's very humid inside the tent and i was afraid of mold so i decided to defoil alot to reduce transpiration...and actually found mold on one of the buds...i removed all mold widely..like 10g of bud... I removed like 25% of leaves...almost all big leaves are gone now Set up another ventilator from below...so now 4 vents inside Replaced 80L NS (half of the rez) at the end of the week 2 weeks till harvest

D-37 : Done the third topping, but I broke one of the branch of the most healthy Desfran :( I'm very sad about that so I will try to do a fourth topping to have the good amount of flowers. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.
