Day 107 Today marks day 107 of the grow, and the plants are looking mature and well into the flowering stage. The front plant shows a stunning display of dark green to purple hues across the fan leaves, a clear sign of late flower coloration - possibly influenced by genetics and cooler night temperatures. The buds are dense and frosty, with trichomes covering nearly every surface, giving a rich, sticky appearance. The pistils are starting to darken and curl inward, indicating that the plant is approaching its final weeks before harvest. The canopy is nicely even, suggesting that training earlier in the grow paid off well. Some lower fan leaves are showing slight discoloration and minor nutrient wear - normal at this stage as the plant redirects energy toward finishing its buds. The leaves' darker tone and slightly glossy texture suggest nutrient levels are still balanced, though it might be time to begin thinking about tapering off feeding soon and preparing for a flush.

Everything was fine. So I started to bath each pot by using a fermentation nutrient by using beneficial bacteria, mycobacteria, some Orgatrex, different mycorrhiza's as 36 hours fermented potions with 2 liters/pot. Oh I forget to tell You, as You can see in the Video the water drops 💦 on the surfaces of their leafs @ day 23 I used Boom Boom Spray too for preparing the next stage of powerful photosynthesis by raising up my SanLights @ 300 µmol/m² s. Second video was @ day 26. I raised up a little natural CO2 from 450 ppm to 550 ppm. So they were prepared for more powerful photosynthesis coming up the next days… Critical Orange Punch and Amnesia Zkittlez showed some typical nutritional sensitivities some phenotypes of Sativa dominated strains can show @ the way to powering up the system. Light tops on the head of the leaf area. But again: “Don’t panic, it’s organic.” Also @ day 26 I started with my preferred technique of LST by mainly just pull down a little, the biggest fan leafs, so the little Life-hungry drives were able to came through and got enough homogeneous ppfd for uniform growth rate too.

Both Princess Bubblegum I and Princess Bubblegum II look great. Both are growing their buds and keep on doing this. Thanks to the LST at the beginning the head bud and the buds surrounding it are euqal size and height. Seems to have worked as I wanted it to - yay 😍

I have noticed the two bigger Plants the EC was lower then the recommend and the soil PH was around 7.0. I have this weekend given more Bio grow for just this two plants and PH the water at 5.5 to lower the PH as the Advance silica when in the flex tank the PH goes up very quickly. I have change to only give Advance Silica when top feeding. Flashed one of the plants as PH was 7.6 and EC 2.4 today.

This is my 1st of 4 Banana Purple Punches that was green all the way through, I think the chances of a green plant on that strain about 20% so I hit that almost head on. Also this is the last BPP seed I had, grew 4 and gave 1 away to a friend, which also grew amazing and flavorful. Gotta spread the love (: Loved growing this strain for the last few years one plant at a time. Always a good strain to throw in the mix with some autos. They were free seeds that I will be buying in the future when I run out of buds and begin to miss her distinct effects.

So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

This little lady is turning out to be a piglet just like her sister. She is drinking so much I though I had a leak in my auto drainage system because I came after a few days out of town and the 32 gallon reservoir was almost empty but so was my drain bucket outside the tent. I opened the tent expecting it to be soaking wet on the floor but there was not a drop of water, so I had to up her watering to 5 gallons per day to even get a quart of runoff. I also had to remove the mini dehumidifier and replace it with a full size dehumidifier to keep the tent under 50% RH. I also have a full size dehumidifier running outside the tent and it is keeping the RH at around 40% outside the grow tent. She is starting to smell very nice and grapey, not overpowering yet when you open the tent, but I feel like in a few weeks she will definitiely be there. This lady had some beautiful colors throughout the grow, she wasnt quite as sticky as I expected giving the name but all around great smoke! Will be growing this again with a different feeding schedule to see if I can get a little more out of her but still happy with the results! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!

The cultivation of Alien OG by Zamnesia Seeds ended with very satisfying results. The plant was grown using Plagron fertilizers in their 100% Organic range, resulting in healthy growth and a particularly beautiful final structure. For the training technique, main lining was used without applying LST. The goal was to make better use of the available vertical space while maintaining a clean and symmetrical structure, with the colas evenly aligned and distributed. The final result confirmed that this approach worked very well: the plant developed a balanced and harmonious structure, with the colas arranged in a very neat and uniform way. Alien OG proved to be a relatively easy strain to grow and responded very well to the training technique used. Throughout the cycle, it caused very few problems and showed excellent development, finishing with large, well-formed and compact flowers. The overall structure of the plant was probably one of the most successful aspects of this grow. The only point that requires a little more attention is the final stage of flowering. Compared to other strains, Alien OG seems to be slightly more susceptible to mold, especially when the flowers become very large and dense. During the final weeks, it is therefore important to pay particular attention to humidity and air circulation to prevent potential problems. Overall, the experience with Alien OG was definitely a very positive one. The combination of main lining without LST and Plagron 100% Organic nutrients produced a plant with a beautiful structure, well-aligned colas and large, well-developed flowers. It proved to be a relatively easy strain to manage and capable of delivering excellent results, with the only real precaution being the need to pay extra attention to the risk of mold during the final stage of flowering. Growth is clearly excellent thanks to a controlled PPFD. We're providing the right amount of light at every stage and are experiencing potency spikes thanks to Zamnesia. PPFD - We achieve a PPFD of 800 μmol/m²/s (shorter plants) up to approximately 1250 μmol/m²/s, using CO2 to reduce clade formation and high-intensity lighting. 1 week before harvest!!! The buds are airy and small, i hope it improves over the week. In this week, flushing is still on effect and daily monitoring of trichomes so i would know if its ready to harvest.

This strain was a breeze to grow. The purple phenotype is hands down some of the best herb I have ever tried.
