Hello everyone 😎 Week 5 of flower for the Dutchie🧡 Time to flush⚓️ Mac#1 Very nice smell of citrus & cookies 🍪🍋 SFV top buds ready✂️super dense,smell citrus & earthy🤤 Glueberry one more week for the top buds✂️

As we enter week five we notice some of the plants pre flowering. But not all so I decide to stick with veg nutrients until all are showing pre flowers. Half way through the week and the rest of the plants are showing pre flowers. Just in time as the plants that had pre flowered earlier on in the week are showing slight Newt burn on the tips suggesting It is time to change to bloom newts which holds less nitrogen. The magnified picture are of the pre flowers forming ( two little fuzzy hairs). Interesting fact: it takes thousands of those little fuzzy hairs to form just one bud.

Pictures are from Day 91. Top Gun 2 is coming to the finish line, the whole tent reeks and starting to see good amounts of amber, although the buds aren’t as solid as I was hoping for. I could harvest as soon as today. This grow has been another great experience of learning about these awesome plants. Decided to take these down after a 10 day flush looked nice and ready didnt do a harvest yet because im waiting till its ready to give a harvest report on took her out of the net she was a bit floppy as the net was supporting her she stunk to high heavens and was really sticky got some nice finger hash and will be using the trim to make bubble hash .trichomes were id say 60%milky 40%amber just about right shes not a huge coala plant shes a more small high quality yielder has some nice colours coming through on edges purpley brownish tinges didn't take a wet weight as the whole thing is hung.put some pics up of the difference between fabric pots and plastic pots and the difference in the end with the fabric u can see there is no root circulation and with the plastic they are nearly root bound .Had a great time growing along with you guys here at growdiaries cant wait to taste and do a harvest report for you guys thanks for reading happy growing

They are still growing nicely, continuing to bush out since LST. A healthy green & what will be a bunch of future bud sites keep showing up daily.

We’ve rolled into Week 4, and it has been an absolute blast thanks to the gorgeous, non-stop sunshine we’ve been getting. I decided to take a bit of a bolder step with this girl and topped her at the beginning of the week. Some growers are hesitant to top autos, but she handled it like an absolute champ! She didn't even slow down for a second and just kept growing right through it. To support her shape, I’ve also been adjusting the LST alongside the topping. Just like her sister, I added a layer of pine bark on top of her soil to protect the upper layer from drying out under the sun. I'm still keeping the watering schedule down to just twice a week using straight tap water plus a bit CalMag. She has completely recovered, looks super healthy, and is charging forward. 17/07/25: Weather is super shitty for the middle of July, so not so much growth for the past couple of days! I hope it will get better soon and from now on it's just a matter of patience and slowly watching the buds thicken up! 🌿 Curious to see how long they need until harvest! Planning to the end of August at the moment, so up to six more weeks to go 👍🏼

Today is the last day before chop day. I didn't end up doing any flushing as I couldn't find much evidence that it makes any real difference. Starting to get some fade/LED bleaching here and there. Really excited to see how much bud is hanging out under all those fan leaves. The one plant that got an accidental topping is still behind the others in getting ripe but not so much that I am wanting to keep it growing. Seeing just a few amber trichomes here and there and I am not a fan of couch-lock so now is perfect time to harvest. I will end up hanging the whole plant to dry. Thanks everyone who gave me help and tips for my first grow! I will likely post the dry weight and harvest pictures in a few weeks once they are dry. Maybe add a few pictures of rosin I plan on making. Happy Jul!

Wir hatten eine sehr heiße Woche hinter uns, haben aber alles gut überstanden. Nun biegen wir auf die Zielgerade ein und hoffen das bis zum Schluss alles glatt läuft.

Die Banana Purple Punch RF3 bleibt in der 4. Woche ein mysteriöses Pflänzchen. Die Blätter sind nach wie vor merkwürdig, fast wie eine Pflanze, die ihren eigenen Stil entdeckt hat. Aber keine Sorge, trotz dieser kleinen Exzentrik wächst sie immer noch gut und zeigt deutlich, dass sie potenzial hat. Die Nodienabstände sind kurz, was ihr eine schöne kompakte Struktur verleiht. Und ja, es ist etwas anspruchsvoll, sie zu trainieren, aber es funktioniert! Wir erwarten bald die Vorblüte, aber die Pflanze scheint noch etwas Wachstumsdrang zu haben, ein bisschen mehr Stretch könnte sie aber schon noch vertragen. Sie ist nicht wirklich durstig, was uns ein bisschen überrascht, aber das macht das Gießen etwas entspannter. Trotzdem sieht alles gesund und stabil aus, und wir sind gespannt, was die nächste Woche bringt! 😶 Hattet ihr bei euren Banana Purple Punch RF3 auch so eine "komische" Blattform wie auf unseren Bildern?

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.
