Skywalker OG — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 2 — More Giants Enter The Galaxy First of all, once again, apologies for dividing this Skywalker OG harvest series into multiple parts. But honestly… there is simply too much happening here to compress everything into one single report without losing the individuality of these plants. This is not just one harvest. This is: * multiple giant plants * multiple phenotypic expressions * hundreds of photos * countless observations * trimming sessions * drying progression * resin collection * and eventually smoke reviews still to come So instead of rushing through it, we decided to properly catalogue this run the way it deserves. And honestly? These girls earned that respect. ⸻ Quick Recap — The 12/12 Galaxy This entire project was grown: 12/12 from seed with very little intervention. No heavy training. No aggressive shaping. No topping. Mostly: * gentle canopy opening * leaf tucking * minor defoliation * and allowing the plants themselves to naturally decide their structure And once again, this run keeps proving something fascinating: 12/12 from seed does not necessarily create huge tall plants… …but it can create incredibly efficient plants. Compact. Dense. Heavy. Productive. The only true giant-height exception in the room was the Ghost Train Haze that nearly reached two meters. But these Skywalker OG girls? They stayed more compact vertically while transforming themselves into absolute flower-producing machines. And honestly? That efficiency became ridiculous toward the end. ⸻ Heavy Enough To Collapse At this stage, all three plants reached the point where their own flower weight became difficult to manage. The branches simply cannot support themselves anymore. Support or no support… these girls are collapsing under pure mass. And honestly? That’s the kind of “problem” growers love having. Huge swollen colas. Dense flower stacking. Rock-solid buds. Resin everywhere. Exactly the type of structure that makes trimming both exciting and slightly terrifying at the same time. Because you already know: these are going to become extremely dense once fully dried. ⸻ Frost, Density & Structure One thing that keeps standing out over and over again with these Skywalker OG plants is the combination of: * density * frost * and sheer flower volume The flowers are not only big… they are compact. Very compact. The kind of buds where simply pressing lightly already tells you: “This is going to dry into rock-solid flower.” And visually? Absolutely beautiful. Bright swollen calyxes. Heavy trichome coverage. Long sugar leaves curling outward. Beautiful late-flower fading tones appearing everywhere. Every branch feels loaded. Top flowers. Middle flowers. Lower flowers. No wasted space. ⸻ Perspective & Scale We also wanted people to properly understand the actual size of these plants. Because sometimes photos alone can be deceptive. So throughout this session we kept including: * hands beside colas * Mr. Baggy appearances * hats * studio comparisons * and even the JBL speaker for scale references And honestly… some of these flowers make normal objects look small. These are serious colas. Not exaggerated internet “looks big in the photo” flowers. Actually big. Actually heavy. Actually difficult to hold comfortably after a while. ⸻ Mr. Baggy Continues His Internship Of course… Mr. Baggy stayed with us through the entire process again. At this point he’s basically part of the harvest crew. Always supervising. Always present. Always emotionally supporting the trimming sessions. And honestly? The studio moments with: * giant plants * giant colas * cameras * lights * resin-covered gloves * and Mr. Baggy sitting there in the middle of the chaos… became part of the memory of this run itself. ⸻ Charas — Living Resin One thing we absolutely loved once again during harvest was the amount of resin immediately collecting onto the gloves while handling fresh flowers. The moment fan leaves started coming off: * resin buildup started * fingers became sticky * gloves became greasy * and naturally… charas started forming again. And honestly, we really enjoy talking about charas because many people still don’t fully understand what it is. Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis resin collection in the world. Traditionally associated especially with regions of India and Nepal, charas is made by gently rubbing fresh living or freshly harvested cannabis flowers between the hands to collect the resin directly. Historically and spiritually, charas has deep connections with: * traditional medicine * spiritual rituals * Himalayan culture * and even Lord Shiva himself in many traditions. And honestly? There’s something incredibly beautiful about it. Because unlike dry sift or cured trimming resin… this is living resin. Fresh resin. Still full of life, moisture, oils, and volatile aromatic compounds. That’s why we personally separate this experience mentally from the later finger hash collected during dry trimming. Both are beautiful. But fresh charas feels: * softer * richer * oilier * more alive * and incredibly expressive terpene-wise This Skywalker OG produced amazing charas too. Dark. Greasy. Sticky. Easy to collect. The kind of resin that instantly tells you: “These plants are loaded.” ⸻ Full Plant Drying Just like the first plant, these girls are now drying whole. Entire plants hanging intact. We personally love this drying style because it slows the process slightly and helps preserve: * terpenes * moisture balance * aroma * and overall cure quality The drying conditions remain: First couple of days: * ~45% RH to help remove the heavier surface moisture from these extremely dense flowers. Then afterward: Remaining drying phase: * ~60% RH * 18–20°C for roughly: 7–10 days depending on how these massive flowers release moisture internally. Because honestly… with buds this dense, patience becomes extremely important. ⸻ Looking Ahead — Trimming Begins Soon The next reports will most likely focus heavily on: trimming And honestly? We already know these sessions are going to be intense. Because these plants are absolutely packed with: * dense flowers * resin * swollen calyxes * and heavy branching So yes… this series may realistically become: four parts or maybe even five. We're getting closer to harvest time, today I flushed with Flawless Finish from Advanced Nutrients. The scent is excellent and the trichomes at least 80% milky. It will definitely be at least 1 week (or two) before harvesting. 😻😻💪

This was such an amazing experience! The outcome could have been better but I'm happy and the quality is definitely there!!!!! Such a sweet tasting smoke with very relaxing, very creative highlights! I finally got to try this strain and I immediately see why it's a legend!!! Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️

Day 97 Chop chop. Smells very fruity and lemony. Dont smell amnesia too much but the trichomes are 80/20 so we gucci :) i usually wait til all the pistiles are brown too cuz i think it looks better haha

Very nice genetic. I'll do same Jack H from Fastbuds for sure again. Plant was very strong and ready for training. I still did not smoked it, will replay later about the taste and power.

Die end Höhe mit 69cm und 75g Dry Buds in nur 7 Wochen! Dank der 3 Wochen vorzucht weder der post transport noch Hitze Stress setze ihr zu . Ich hätte nur eher mit LST starten müssen und entlauben am Ende ist Pflicht für die Luftzufuhr.

Growth exploded this week as the flowering stretch kicked in. Swapped the 600w MH bulb out for a 600w HPS. Introduced low strength biobizz bloom feed 0.5ml/l Only issue I was having this week was slightly high humidity bur I've popped a small dehumidifier in the tent that seems to of sorted that out.

Half gallon nute feed. Trichomes still a little glassy. Dense budding 👌🏾. 60-65 days for both ladies will open the window. Flushing soon.

Hello, my amazing green-thumbed friends! Welcome to the Week 1 flower report for our beloved P.C.R.s. The transition from veg to flower is a magical time, and our plants are already showing signs of their future glory. Let’s dive into the exciting details of this week! Entering the Flower Stage Our P.C.R.s have officially entered the flowering stage, and the transformation is already visible. The stretch has begun, and you can see the plants reaching up, preparing to produce those beautiful buds we’re all waiting for. This stage is all about supporting their growth and ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. NutriSpray Magic This week, we’ve been diligently spraying Aptus Holland NutriSpray, and the results are phenomenal. NutriSpray is like a spa treatment for our plants, providing essential micronutrients directly to the leaves. It helps with nutrient uptake, reduces stress, and boosts overall plant health. Our P.C.R.s are absolutely loving it, standing tall and proud with their leaves praying to the light. Nutrient Transition With the start of the flowering stage, we’ve made some important adjustments to our nutrient regimen. We’ve stopped using StartBooster and replaced it with TopBooster, which promotes flowering and bud formation. Additionally, we’ve introduced P-Boost, a phosphorus booster that enhances root development and flower production. TopBooster: Encourages larger and more abundant flowers. P-Boost: Provides essential phosphorus for robust root and flower development. NutriSpray: Continues to support overall plant health and stress reduction. Optimal Conditions Maintaining the perfect environment is crucial as we move into the flowering stage. Our TDS is now at 360, with a pH of 5.9 and a temperature of 21°C for watering. These conditions are optimal for nutrient uptake and overall plant health, ensuring our P.C.R.s have everything they need to produce those beautiful, resinous buds. Care and Attention Paying close attention to our plants during this stage is key. Regularly inspecting for any signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies and adjusting care as needed ensures our plants stay happy and healthy. Week 7 looking very plentiful

The strawberry gorilla is a really pretty plant. The stems are super reddish purplish. All of the leaves are starting to get a red and rainbow color to them. The plant really smells like gorilla glue it’s really nice. The plant is stacking really nicely even without super extreme light durring the strech. It’s definitely prone to stacking large colas. This is a winner I might have to try this plant again in the fut

Bilan ​Retour d'expérience sur la culture : Cette variété s'est avérée être une plante très facile à cultiver. Malgré quelques erreurs totalement involontaires au cours du run — notamment un pH monté trop haut par moments et des coups de chaleur excessive provoqués par des lampes très proches (dus à la grande taille des plantes et à des températures extérieures élevées) — elle a super bien supporté les éléments. Elle est restée saine et en excellente santé tout au long de sa vie. Le système Autopot a, quant à lui, fonctionné à merveille : simple, autonome et redoutablement efficace. ​Le calvaire de la manucure (6 heures de nettoyage) : Si la culture fut un long fleuve tranquille, la défoliation finale avant séchage a été particulièrement complexe ! En raison de sa structure prononcée en queues de renard (foxtailing) et de la densité extrême des buds, retirer les petites et grandes feuilles incrustées au cœur des têtes est devenu un travail d'orfèvre. Il aura fallu 6 heures de nettoyage intensif. Une multitude de "monofeuilles" (feuilles à une seule pale) s'étaient formées à l'intérieur même des têtes, une réaction de défense typique de la plante pour transpirer et évacuer le stress thermique causé par la proximité de la lampe. ​Conclusion du run : Je ne pouvais sincèrement pas rêver mieux pour cette session. Cette plante se classe directement parmi mes préférées de tous les temps. C'est malheureusement ma dernière culture avant la pause estivale. On se retrouve en septembre pour de nouvelles aventures où je vous réserve déjà de très belles surprises ! You touch the the leafs, a small smell of tea like papaya fills the air. After having what's it seems calcium deficiency on the first 2 levels of leafs, I've raised the amount of Advanced Nutrients given and kept the same Dosis of organic Crazy Hills. So far great recovery, growth and sweet smell.
