BIG BIG apologies to Heather from fast buds & to Growdiaries & anyone who follows. The past few months have been a massive struggle, not just with temperatures & growing weed but on a personal level. My wife has been very poorly & with covid and everything going on, it's put a massive strain on us all!! I've tries to maintain an active presence on Instagram but that's about all I've physically had time for. I've put this update together today, so far into the grow now it almost seems pointless. I lost my original Mimosa due to high temps & high RH. Moving into the attic at that time of year was a mistake. It has cost me a small fortune to keep things alive. I've had to purchase an air con unit, more fans & just more of everything to be honest. My purple punch is almost ready to harvest, any time within the next couple of days, followed shortly by Bruce Banner & Kosher cake. I wont be winning any awards for this Diary & I feel bad as I was supposed to be show casing what 420 Fast buds has to offer & I've failed...miserably. Day 47 -55 On Day 46 i switched to 12/12. now they are stretching. This strain stretches very very much. Probably more than double so be careful! U will be able to see the stretch within the next posts. :) I use 3g/soil now and then 1g/soil at week 2 of bloom! At the start of bloom i still put the brenches into the pieces of the net so i maximize the light penetration throughout the bloom part. In a few days i ll stop LST because the brenches start getting hard.

Week 16 - Day 103 08/16: Harvested Aaliyah on 08/15, Day 102 from soil and Day of flowering. After one week of pure water for Aaliyah, some of the trichomes have turned amber. I decided to harvest about 3/4 of the plant. Some of the lower buds didn’t receive enough light during the grow, so I’m hoping they can grow a little more before I bring the whole plant down. I also removed some of the dead and very young growth that was coming up. I didn’t have another spot to hang the buds because of the smell, so I tied them over the other plants. Now that she is mostly harvested, the smell has increased. I now have Annie on the side so she is getting less direct light. She already took some bleaching on her main colas. Alexis still has about a week left. I’ll check her trichomes before the next watering to see if I should start flushing. 08/18: Aaliyah’s harvested buds were getting close to being dry, so I decided to start cleaning up some of the sugar leaves. The smaller, less developed buds got chopped up and set aside for some dry ice hash. Since she was on the left side of the tent, a lot of her colas did not receive enough direct light. I hung up a few of the nicer looking ones that I’m keeping as flower to finish drying. [General notes: I still don’t have a scale to take note of the exact wet weight, but I’ll make sure to have one for the dry weight. And since all three plants are of the same strain, I’m going to wait till the last one is chopped up before posting the full harvesting results.]

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Week 2 of flower and week 8 from seed , the plants have really started spewing THC and they are looking and smelling amazing . The Black gelatos color has started coming in some are light purple some are very dark purple . If you'd like to know anything specific please leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer it .

This week, the pre-flowering began, slowly began to give fertilizers for flowering, I water every other time, first with fertilizers then with clean water, 2 liters, every 2 days, as the top layer of the earth dries.PH hold 6.5-6.3, PPM 643 last watering, 2 ml per liter. The plant drinks a lot .The week passed without problems, ahead of the long-awaited flowering.

So, like i said the 🍋🍒🍪 all ready for ✂️, it’s been a pleasure to grow these, will deffo be growing these again, maybe just after Xmas!🤔, now to dry them and cure them with the attention they deserve… gorilla cookies looking💥 won’t be long at all untill there ready, maybe 2 weeks max.. untill next time!👊🏻

The week as all seedling wasn't quite special but I did notice alot of girls starting to display pistles very early on , which isn't a bad sign at all just hopfully they achieve a good size 30inch to 40 inch I would prefer . Watering I've got under control already with the LEDs . Temps are a different story they have been a nitemare to keep under control , two heaters full power and the LEDS are only keeping the room about 20oC at best sometimes ... So gonna buy some insulation and seal the room up some more and hopfully keep some heat trapped inside the room and hopfully the heating bill reduces by some as this run will cost appox 900£ gbp 1200$ appox 1000€ appox Thoe come this years summer run my temps will be ideal without even using a heater at all which will reduce power to 1kw/h from 2kw/h . Plants day 14 review Girl scout cookie's ZAMNESIA These little women has been displaying the best vigour ans size in the room , hinting towards a big yeilder , there's some nice purpling of the stems and some leaves 🍃 looks like I might have got a purple pheno cookies 🍪 time will certainly tell Do si dos RQS These girls are smaller than most in the tent but this looks to be more genicitis than anything as there all displaying a smaller size compared to the other pots and not as much vigour but all in sync showing the gentics are solid but might be just a slow start for these girls Gorilla glue ZAMNESIA Hoping the funny gorilla girl pulls through as I was looking forwards to having some glue the other two plants are on par with the GSC and doing quite well in size and also structure is also like the GCS very thick stems for such small plants. I think these @VIPARSPECTRA lights are playing a good part in allowing these girls to use what light is needed for a healthy structure Runtz ZAMNESIA Girls are looking like there genicitis has lots of potential for a very vigorous plant , the last runtz I grew was very big plants hoping for the same type of growth . One does appear to acquire some molding on the frist true leaves but seems not to have slowed any growth or reduced vigorous growth so if you spot this I'm not worried , very vigorous strain Lemon haze - ETS look like they could be bigger plants hopfully they make for a nice grow and don't get out of control making me think should I top my haze ? Blueberry Headbang- ETS This has been the hardest Germination of any seeds and I only got 1 decent seed pop up this one plant I'm taking super good care of as I wanna try Blueberry headbang Headlight kush - ETS a few of these have come up in good old fashion no visible problems and look to grow pretty good I think where gonna have a couple of headlights kush . Seem to be solid and all in sync to whatever part of growth there meant to be at . All plants are doing amazing 👏 they where showing great vigorous growth and some steady growth . Planning on keeping as many girls as possible alothough 16 might be the upper limit if these girls get big as this is the frist time I've used LEDs Im not sure what to expect . The same as hps ? Definitely no the growth from the LEDs is alot better than HPS and I haven't even dailed the temps to stay super steady Going to introduce my GHE flora line at low dosage to not shock the little girls and not to stun any growth . Will closely monitor for any sign of defenices

The buds look so amazing, they are rock hard, glittery and have those bright orange pistils alongside the dark purple colors. Sigh. 😊 Drying in cardboard boxes now, I usually hang two branches in a box, with air holes. And I have one box with a net chucked inside, for the smaller parts. No popcorn with the Caramelo. 😋 Took me half an hour to trim her. After 5 days, I will put the nuggets in a jar to check the remaining humidity. I will leave the jar closed for 12h and then check. If the humidity has risen above 70%, the nugs will be put in a salad bowl to dry over night. If it's below 70% I will leave them in the jar and open it once in a while.. trying to keep humidity above 60% and below 70% for 2 weeks. 😎 Thank you so much for your company, friends!! 9/4: I hope to successfully germinate all 4 of the Sweet Seeds Dark Devils that they sent me. I am keeping it really simple this run and am using my new DWC cloner to germinate. I made up 3 gallons of a de-chlorinated water in a strong solution of Endoboost Hydro and added 1/4 tsp of Superthrive per gallon. I adjusted the Ph to 6.0 and let the pump and aerator cycle the res for a few hours. I put rapid rooters into 1.25" net pots and ensured that the water level was high enough so as to just touch the bottoms of the rooters. About 10 minutes later the rooters were all nice and damp, so I planted and prayed. I've just got a 9w pinkish grow light mounted about 5 inches above the rooters, but once they are rooted well, I'll move them into a 1020 tray with dome under 65w of mixed spectra lighting with supplemental blues. Once they've got a couple sets of leaves, I'll plant the rooters in some half-gallon biodegradable fabric bags and move them into my tiny tent under a pair of mixed spectrum QB's. They'll all have to stay in there until my current run of photo clones is done in the closet. Once space opens up in the closet, I'll plant those biodegradable bags into 3 gallon pots and move at least one of them into the closet and the others will remain in the tiny tent. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks....🙏 9/8: 3 of them rooted well and are under the dome..one straggler. 9/9: 3 of them under the dome are doing great...straggler is rooted now, but i'll give her a day or two more before i plant it. 9/10: The straggler is rooted well now. I'll plant her into a 1/2 gallon degradable bag tomorrow and move her to the tiny tent with the other 3.
