Heya Bud, Hope everyone had a great week, my little plant sure did, there has been a lot of green growth after topping, she's turned into a small bush. I have been a bit under the weather, but I'm trying my best to keep up with LST and topping, I expect another week or two of veg, just to be safe. I don't know this strain at all and I really want to fill my tent, so far it reminds me of my very first plant which had long, dense colas, just like that plant, this one is starting out very short, dense with tight node spacing. Unlike my first plant though, this one is a photo-period and I have hold of the reins, I decided to not add organics to my system this week, trying to hunt down the source of dark gunk that collects around my roots, i think it might be bits of peat from the starter plug, it rinses off easily. My webcam froze a few times and I lost some footage, but you can still see the growth! I have topped her a total of 4 times this week, the goal is an even canopy and I cant allow one branch to take over to much at this stage. Trellis in next week? maybe? who knows, definitely a skirt clean-up in the future, I like it when my ladies can breathe down there. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and keep growing.

Elsa‘s grow and our Community Grow goes to an end. It‘s hard for me to say her goodbye, because we share 100 days together. But a good friend told me… it‘s always a friendship of time. Hello everyone! This week the wedding cake has finally started to flower and it is in the pre-flowering period. After the gorilla skittles started flowering as early at the 6 week, the wedding cake continued to grow insanely for 2 weeks and grew about 35cm in two weeks!!. She finished all the space in the closet and currently the top of the plant is 30 cm from the lamp, I have no more room in the closet to lift the lamp. I tried using Scrooge and Deployment but it was not enough. The fiming method did not stop the growth enough. This week I did another cleaning of the leaves and flower areas that I am not interested in. Hope everything will go smoothly!

Mandarin XL auto just had a solution change today. She looks like she is starting to bulk. She was looking kinda pail and discolored. She was due for a solution change. So hopefully she takes to it well and puts on a lot of weight. Everything has been going well, and nothing more to report. My aggressive bud-blocker removal has resulted in an unruly bush who is trying to over-grow her space! My hopes are that she can keep herself contained for the rest of the grow lol 😂. I've done a LOT of defoliation to try and help with the humidy and airflow in the tent. Her bud sites look happy and healthy, and her branches are super strong! 💪 She is drinking a TON of water. I find myself adding a gallon every 2-3 days!

During week 8 I accidentally snapped one of the branches whiles defoliating. It was a clean break but nearly snapped clean off. I have managed to prop and strap it up so hopefully with a bit of care she can hold on. It’s now been 5 days since it snapped and seems to still look healthy so keeping my finger crossed🤞 Other than that this girl seems to be coming on really well. She has a lot of bud sites and seems to been taking nicely to my DIY aero/hydroponic system. I’m really pleased with how she has turned out for my first ever grow and I’m looking forward to see her at harvest! Happy Growing!🌱😎
