D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------

Long time since I've been here!... finally back and growing crack!.. well weed... well u know.. Finally got back on here.. these only pics I have left from this grow.. this one been a journey thru and thru.. as u can see that both trees haha. Switched to the HLG a month or so ago and they were light burned pretty quickly.. this light pretty intense.. 50% too strong for veg even at 30 inches away.. thought it was nute burn or overwatering.. eventually solved it. Backed light to 40% and things got 100% better. So if u have this light the less the better at first! Put them in flower this week. So I'll be updating those pics next! They both doing great other then the light burn which I know figured out... next issue will be when to turn it up for flower and when to bring lights closer .. figure once I see first pistil. Signs pistol. Flower I'll turn it up to 50% but keep same distance.

My little mutt mix strain has been a very interesting, and unique grow. Huge plant tiny potter, lighter comparison pictures above. I Just started seeing a few stray amber trichromes. I will start her on just ph water in a day or two. Letting her use up what energy she has left. This was a struggle of a grow. It's a baby monster plant. I did juice her too much in flowering. We made it through, and she has some nice flowers with a fruity, and kinda earthy aroma. The next update may be a few days late, but it will be the harvest most likely. She grew great in my autoflower room under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. I will see you soon for the chop. After the shock of all gelatos showing male signs, we got our shit together and removed all balls !! Zkittlez is getting out of tent for her black period tomorrow, giving our bigger gelato more space !! We still have one week and a half before Zki2 leave the tent and let the girls ride !! The final 4-5 weeks will go mad !! Need to clean our hps bulb and cooltube.. Tangie will go to their space, cuz she didnt show balls, so less maintance.. cheers and dont give up on hermies.. maybe it was just a bad day !! Temp dropped with a polar mass coming to our town, and water was freezing !! Light leaks were considered too, overwatering/feeding were disconsidered LST and rearrengement will be done as soon as Zkittlez mature..

The weather was way better this week then last week. Days are getting shorter and i'll noticed she's getting ready to bloom because she's streching a lot! i'll guess she will show the first blooming signs at the end of this week.

She’s been in flush around 15 Days now, nothing super heavy. Lower leaves starting to fade slightly and she’s still fattening up. Will let her start to fade before I decide on doing anything at all. Her trichomes are mainly cloudy with an amber here and there.

Esta semana esta rodeada de una paleta de olores bastante rica, se siente bastante agradezco contar con un buen filtro de olor (artesanal), el que cumple al 100% su trabajo, si se dan cuenta hay flores que se ven bien buenas, plantas que prometen ser bien productoras, esperemos se mantengan asi y las otras plantas que van un poco atrasadas culminen con un buen resultado. Hemos implementado una poda RIB, para ver si potenciamos aun mas los resultados. !Saludos! Te invito a comentar cualquier sugerencia.

Stretch is coming to an end. And that's good because space was getting short. Plant was growing about 1/2in a day towards the end. Stretch was more than expected but soooo many bud sites. Defoliating every few days. Need to really get in there and do some work tomorrow. Very happy with things so far. Getting excellent development all the way down. Hopefully pics after defoliation will show this better. This is the 1st day of week 4.
