However, the final look was a total curveball. A severe heatwave hit the grow room right when the buds were already fully formed. Being an Indica-dominant strain with Afghan heritage, she really didn't tolerate that sudden intense heat. To cope with the temperature, she went into survival mode and triggered heavy late-stage foxtailing. Even though the weight was already there, the buds lost their typical Indica compactness and started stretching out with endless new white pistils, creating an airy, Sativa-like silhouette. It definitely cost her a few grams of extra density, but the sheer volume is impressive. ​Interestingly, I ran this plant alongside a Sativa-dominant strain in the same tent, and they completely traded places structurally. I didn’t take pictures before defoliation but these pics are from after the fact So you can only imagine. So many bud sites she should be stacked!!! The game plan is to move her into a 5 gallon once I get a chance this week. Glacial, 2-8-4 and some kelp meal will be used.

Papaya sherbet has truly exploded in the first week of flower truly excited to see what comes out of this plant never stops surprising me a little needs a little defoliation and a nice water not going to do much until the third week of flower don’t want to stunt her 🔥💪

Terps are definitely starting to come through, gassy and fruity. Buds directly under the light are hard as rocks. Pistils are starting to show what kind of colas I can expect. The back 2 plants are receiving an extra qt of hand-fertigation per day, as they dry out quicker than the front 2. Happy growing!

Woche 14 Die Blüten sind zu dichten Trichombergen verschmolzen, die Stellenweise kaum noch Blattgrün zeigen. Angesichts der Blütenstruktur, Blattfarbe und Gesamterscheinung gehen wir von min. noch 2 bis 3 Wochen aus, eher 4 bis die Dame den richtigen Blütepeak für unseren Geschmack erreicht hat. Gently dropped in a scrog with the biggest squares I could find to prop up or tie off heavy branches on #2. Used it to spread out #1 a bit but this late in the game tried to avoid as much pulling and bending as possible. #1 finally picking up some weight. This one has more of a spear formation. Guessing about 4-5 weeks left. Super frosty and smelly though. #2 just a tank. Nothing but dense golf balls. My goal was 8oz per plant and feel pretty confident this might be closer to 10ish. I'm guessing about 21ish days. Planning on deploying Winter Frost a week from today. Topping of with 80% strength solution kept EC level between changes.. So tough to do these things justice in pics and videos.

Que hay familia, actualizo la sexta semana de floración y última de estas Runtz F1 automáticas de Zamnesia. Vaya liada de floración, la luz… los nutrientes… la tierra…desperdiciada, no me gustó mucho este proyecto, la verdad es una variedad poco resistente y además se quedan enanas, las flores también son enanas y no son nada prietas ni gustosas. La temperatura está 25 grados y la humedad anda entorno al 40%. Riego cada 48 horas. Hasta aqui todo, en unas semanas actualizaré ya la cosecha y la smoke review. Bruh, these plants are lookin’ straight beautiful right now – real queens in full bloom. Buds are thick, frosty, and sticky as hell. The weight on ‘em is somethin' serious, and they’re packin’ up like champs. The Cookie Girls are doing great 😊 Overall, I’m very pleased with the results so far. At day 8 I stopped tucking the branches and allowed them to grow up. In hindsight, I probably should have kept going for another couple of days. They continued to stretch rapidly all the way up to date 12 or so. At day 10 I cleaned up some of the small bud sites and leaves that were below the 1st trellis. These sites do not get enough light to make anything good, and take away energy from the main tops as they grow and compete. At day 12 I decided to add a second trellis net to provide support to the tops that came up so fast. They seem to have stopped their main stretch faze, and are looking happy and healthy now. I’ve continued my water, water, feed schedule and have not seen any cause for concern. The girls are taking a little over a gallon of water every 72 hours at this point. Humidity is being controlled automatically with my in-line fan and humidifier. RH is set to 57% and temps hover between 77-80 degrees with lights on, and about 70-72 with light off thanks to my furnace being back on for the cooler temps. The 2x4 5 gallon girl is doing great as well. 😊During the stretch, while I tucked, I snapped more than a couple of tops off, but the plant continues to thrive. She is going to have some great bud, the branch structure is nicely developed with tight node spacing. I’ve been plucking off all the lower growth, and tucking leaves as they block bud sites. So we have had a heck of a week. Fought the gnats and maybe won part of the war. I replanted the troubled girl into a fabric pot with roots 707 only. I figured it can't get worse, right? The other gal that topped herself is doing amazing! She's going to be a big ole girl!

Defoliated her a bit. Now I have even canopy but I am concerned if I defoliated too late in the game because this is an autoflower. Only time will tell. Increased her feed frequency to twice a week. Seeing several cola sites. 01/25/23 : Did a second round of defoliation yesterday. She ended up being as bushy as before defoliation. Little concerned that the plant is vegetating but not growing buds. She is about to finish her 7th week. Almost acting like a photoperiod. 01/27/23: Nearing end of week 7. It feels like she is still vegging. I see some flower sites and some pistil hairs but no real bud yet. I am reading that some autos bloom really late. Trying hard to be patient with her and not just flip the lights to 12/12. Will give her couple more weeks to start blooming, if not then I will go to 12/12. The hardest part about extended vegging is light and air management. 😫. Oh the joys of growing your own!!
