Spots of calcium deficiency on GC here and there for the last week and I have seen a few spots on WG also. Still used 5mL calmag per gal as max dose to hopefully keep spotting from spreading. Raised my bucket to 374ppm prior to nutes. Decent defol tonight and I got a net back out to hold these down and spread em out as much as possible. One branch on WG has taken over as the main I guess and it's hard as f. Only place it's going is up lol.. 22in from the light as of RN, getting 37.2 DLI. Going to work up to 40 this week and see how they like it. GC really needs to hurry up. Can't let WG get too amber and can't leave dead rotting roots in the system right? Crossing my fingers GC hurries TF up in the end, or it may get cut early. RES change around 6pm tonight, modified week 2 bloom GHE medium. Breakdown as follows: 2gal water/calmag - 374ppm Hydroguard - 5mL Micro - 12.6mL Grow - 12mL Bloom - 15mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1453 @ 5.71. Plants 14in ^ Lights 22in ^ DLI 37.2 =========================================================================================== Day 43- McGuiver'd some external RES together tonight. Waterfarm site tube is now extended into a return line to the external RES. Small cat drinking fountain pump in the base of the external with a 1/4in fitting plastic welded on the 3/8 outlet of it. This thing trickles, just like I wanted. 1/4in line runs to my old fill port on the front of the waterfarm. Constant circulation from one res to the other. Waterfarm started life as a 2gal RES system. Roots fill it up and take up precious space. Roots were even coming out of the site tube lol. When I pump it out for a change lately, Im barely getting a gallon... side res and waterfarm combined now hold a little over 4gal now with the root mass filling a large portion of the farm. Ill actually measure one of these times. If I raise the farm up more, I can hold more in the side RES. 4 or so should cut it, they don't have much longer right? Filled with same formulation as last fill, just 4 or so gal instead of 2. Mixed 5, left with 1? in the bucket when I hit fill line. This may help conserve some water once I finally get their EC dialed in. Not only do I play my plants music throughout their day, I even sing to them from time to time.. Hopefully I don't lose any watchers with my horrible singing in the vid tonight 🤣🤣 =========================================================================================== Day 44- Why didn't I start this experiment off with an external RES? Damn the stability of more volume is a definite PLUS! Haven't had to adjust PH or top off 2 or more times a day since. Been letting the level drop and watching numbers while keeping PH in check. I think I've finally found a stable EC too. For now anyway. Water level drops, EC drops slightly, ph rises slightly. Taking almost 24hrs to swing from 5.61 up to 6.12 instead of 8-12hr. Been thinking about cutting back GC and just keeping it alive so dead roots don't disrupt WG but let WG finish as best it can. GC is THAT far behind from the looks of it. Trimmed em both up late in their day yesterday. Open it up a bit so the lowers on WG can bulk up too. Adding to the list of things I should have done differently and will share at the very end. =========================================================================================== Day 45- ditched the net AGAIN tonight. No leak, shit was just annoying being in my way. Also been thinking ALLOT about my choices in life... latest is why did I plant two diff strains in the same pot and how can I make the best of it? They don't grow at the same rate or eat the same. WG is a PIG! Thought long and hard and have made the decision to cut back GC some to give WG her room to bloom. WG didn't stretch much and GC is still going. Keep supercropping it to keep it out of the fan and same distance from the light as WG. I have to keep both alive till the end, unless I throw in the towel on GC at WG harvest and chop em both. Really don't want to waste the experiment, so I may get creative at the end. Only have the one tent and was planning on drying in it since I've got the closet its in dialed in. Really don't want to make a cardboard dry box... =========================================================================================== Day 46- Going to wean these girls off the N next RES change. GC is starting to stretch more, and still refusing to make the transition. maybe less N will do the trick?? kick up the bloom a bit as well. WG is ready for it for sure. GC may have an issue with it, but she'll survive. gave em both a defol before lights out today. heavier on GC than WG since WG isnt bushing up as fast as she used to. the light frosting is getting more populated also. side RES is working out beautifully! =========================================================================================== Day 47- little prune on GC today to keep it out of WG's way. Plucked a few here and there off WG to keep it opened up. Colas everywhere! Going to be one short dense plant that's for sure. If GC gets to a finish, it's going to be a bunch of popcorn from the looks of it. Time will tell. =========================================================================================== Day 48- light prune on GC to keep it out of the way, since its decided to be like 3wk behind WG. maybe tonights RES change will punt it in gear, and itll start exploding in flowers... yeah, i smoked before typing this so the pipe dreams are real on this one.. dialing back the calmag plus (since it has N in it) to 4mL a gallon. dialing back the N in the modified formulation from GHE week 3 "mid bloom" medium feed. formulation as follows: Tap/Zero Water - 2.5gal/2.5gal 81ppm calmag plus - 20mL ^ to 307ppm Micro - 26.5mL Grow - 26.5mL Bloom - 41mL RES totals after PH corrections - 1148ppm @ 5.63. And that's all folks!! Turned out very leafy and gave me 38g in total dried and cured. She may not have smelt of much or anything like her other sister but still a nice knockout high.....struggled with it having wake n bakes hahaha. Cheers all who followed this. i run in a bit calmag defiency i dont know why, my only guess is overwatering, other plant (tangiematic) didnt have this problem with same feeding. maybe the light was too close and burned a bit faster trough the calmag as it has 2.75 par.

Week 1 of veg was a tough one. In the middle of updating my grow tent gear, i stumbled upon hardship with the young ladies. The first days was with my old LED light, and when i switched to the new light, they suffered from light burn and high temps adjusting it. They are looking crusty, but we will get through it. 👉29/8 With Viparspectra V300 Lights 👉30/8 Viparspectra V300 👉31/8 Switch from Viparspectra V300 to Lumatek 300W Pro 👉1/9 Adjusting temps, hanging height and applying new gadgets. 👉2/9 First signs of too high temps/light burn. They all doin pretty good, leaves are a little too yellow for my liking at this point I should have added some grow to the mix but they will be fine I think. I have 3 of these going one is at an earlier stage but they seem to have very elongated bud structure with a solid stretch in flower. With all these 3 grows I have just harvested I have made them suffer through lack of watering due to family emergency where I was a day or two late watering them. But they have all thrived I have loved the footprint of this little lady she was so small and compact and still gave a good amount of top shelf weed would definitely recommend to anyone🙏✌️👍

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the updates. ** THIS TEXT SERVES FOR WEEKS 14-18** I had ALOT of problems with this lady these past 4 weeks. Really bad weather, rain, wind, blazing heat, cloudy, temps going from 17-35C every other day for 2 WEEKS straight.. very sketchy! World's going to shit y'all! Also had a Spider mites battle for 3 weeks and finally got rid of them. And on top of that, all of the pictures I had weekly were deleted off my pc.. Only have a few for each week, luckly found those on my phone. I've been watering 2L every other day for the past 4 weeks. Some days less.. about 1.6L beacuase there just wasn't enough sun for her to drink up. On week 16 there were some crazy-ass MFing winds. I'm talking gone with the wind style. As I had the spider mite problem, I didn't want to bring her in the house and risk those little fuckers finding their way to my grow room. (As I have that section perfectly isolated and pest free, wanted to keep it that way.) The result of not bringing her inside? The bottom branches that weren't tied down properly because I didn't think they would be damaged as the balcony has a little wind breaker on the bottom half. But to my surpise.. all three branches snapped and broke, So i decided to go ahead and take them off. I know it isn't much info for the past weeks, but It's what I've been battling with. The buds are airy as a result of all the stress, don't look to appleaing to be honest. My other two GSC came out GREAT, awesome lovely dense buds but those were different conditions. I'm just finishing her to harvest because she made it through a big battle and deserves to be harvested as a champion she is. Keeping in mind this was just a balcony experiment to see what I can and can't do with this balcony.. I'm not too worried about the final outcome. Luckily she pulled through so i'll make some hash with what I harvest. I'll also be joining the FastBuds Halloweed contest with this lady before harvesting and I've got the perfect idea... 😏 Hope you all enjoyed the update and again sorry for the long delay on this one. This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The broken mainled blue has fully recovered from last week's damage, and is quickly catching up the my other mainled experiment. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, but is still the weakest of the 3. The strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.

I feed her with full strength of nutes in every 4 days. The leaves are much healthier, so this is the way to go. The smell is lacking which is weird, but hopefully the end product will be fine.

D-37 : Done the third topping, but I broke one of the branch of the most healthy Desfran :( I'm very sad about that so I will try to do a fourth topping to have the good amount of flowers. The others are going well ! D-43 : Everything still ok ! The LST is almost over, and I think I'll turn to flowering mode winthin 10 days max.
