Perfect strain for begginer growers and not only. Very easy to grow. Plant is very resistant to any stressful conditions . (Heat, cold, I was overfeeding but she was taking it more and more without any problems) She was growing very fast in vegetation, But took 12 weeks of flowering period. (Maybe that was my faulth cause it’s only my second grow and i missed something) Buds are very dense with sweet berry aroma. I could not wait untill the end of drying period and had a taste of just a little bud. That shit is very strong even for experienced smokers. Huge to breeders 11/10. If you have not tryed to gro Green Gelato yet i wouls advise it to everybody. She will not dissapoint you. 💥👌🏽👌🏽

She’s finally there! She’s been flushing for just over 2 weeks now. Been checking the trichomes and for me she is at perfect ripeness! 🤩 Now just need to get her cut and dried, will probably take me a while as I’m on the upper end of the humidity scale atm, even with a dehumidifier! Super happy with how my first photo has gone and can’t wait to start another run!

11/3 - Today is technically the first day of Week 5 and also the first day I could see a visible drop in her water level since her last check-in (~12 hours apart). As a result, her ppms shot up to around 800. I diluted the solution with straight tap (7.5pH, 170ppm) since her pH was registering around 5.3. This brought her up to 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would have liked to adjust her pH more, but the water level ended up at the bottom of the basket. I'll adjust further as necessary. The other day while attempting to LST her top branches, they ended up snapping off, so I just topped her down one node and broadened her other LST to make her as squat as possible. Once I am able to find a suitable individual ScrOG screen, I will put it on her. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. The first of which is a visible difference between her foliage density in a span of 36 hours. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 645ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. This girl grew for 72 days. She shared a bed with 2 other plants and only used one of the lights in the darkroom (180 watt electric sky). She produced beautiful dark buds that smell insanely sweet. I have only vaporized 1 decent sized bowl through my mighty vaporizer and I must say it tastes pretty good even without a cure. No green earth taste and it tastes just like it smells. Doesn't produce any dry mouth or eyes so that's nice. I Vaped it right before I left for work and I didn't even get chinky eyed when I walked outside into the light. So it's a great daytime smoke. I definitely feel high, I just don't feel like other people can tell :). She grew in living soil And I am convinced that it's the way to be 💪0

All received their final feeding early this week and they are on ph water here on out. Had to add the humidifier in this week for the first time with these girls as the humidity dropped to 47%. They should be on cruise control from here with just water. They have a really nice fade happening to their leaves and developing nice purple hues. Hopefully they will be ready to harvest in a week or so time. Daiquiri Lime is the frostiness by far!!!

Today was the day! Both girls have been chopped at day 55 of flower. Reason being is after 2 days of plain water **(I’m aware this is a short flush, but nutes were tapered down in the week leading up to this, then with plain non pH’d water there was 6 fertigations, 4l per plant per time over the last 48 hours - the runoff has been coming out plain 0.3EC tap water, same as the inflow).** The trichomes that we’re only cloudy on top had began to change over to amber and the lowers that were clear became milky after having plain water so I pulled them down for peak potency. Maybe could have had a couple days more but not the end of the world I am still very happy so far with the result from what I can see so far. I have just removed the largest fan leaves off and separated into branches or more like clusters of tops on branches. In a couple days I will probably remove a little more leaves or if they are drying evenly and nicely I will just remove them when I dry trim. They are now hung inside the tent, aiming for 18-20°C temps & set to 50% RH, hooked up to a Inkbird Humidity Controller and a dehumidifier. Hoping these will take a week to ten days to dry so the flavour and smell is not lost. Both Phenos of this strain have come out in beautiful colours under the torch on video, I can’t wait to see them both when their dry and all trimmed up in all their glory. January 20th: The trichomes on pheno#1 (purple) are about 60% cloudy / 40% clear. The trichomes on pheno#2 (smaller plant) are about 50%/50% cloudy/clear. The trichomes on pheno#3 are around half/half, as well. I might be harvesting them in the next few weeks, depending on how everything goes. Light intensity: 75%
