She didn't like the toping done at week 3 at all! She it's by far the shortest in the tent. She does make up for her size by how pretty she is. Already peach/off white pistills she is going to be a beauty! Like her size she doesn't drink much .5 gal every day and she's fine!

The girls just keep on cooking...and things are starting to get really bushy. I'm hoping that we're close to finished on the vertical growth front. Chem Brûlée just keeps getting bigger and bigger, but she seems to be spreading OUT faster than she is growing UP at this point (she's already 56" call). Pineapple Meatball is just a straight up bush. French Macaron is 62" tall and VERY thick on the vegetation front, but not as WIDE as the chem brûlée. 7/13 Sprayed with light neem/castille spray

I think they are ready. I’ve just given her one last watering. Will wait for the soil to dry out now over the next two days and then put her in complete darkness for 32 hours then I will be trimming her down. Thanks a lot guys for the people who have kept on top of this diary. Peace

Day 63 - 28 of Flower Changes this week include adding a 4th Maxibright 315w lamp and Agro bulb. I wanted to run 4 but originally could only afford to buy 3. These retail at £250 each per kit so theres now £1000 just in lighting. A huge improvement to overall light spread around the plants and more light penetrating the canopy to the lower bud sights. I've also spent the weekend insulating my space for 2 reasons. Obviously temperature fluctuations being one. I found the temps were anywhere between 17 and 31 degrees throughout a 24 hour cycle and wanted to get a more consistent day and night temperature. With the extra light it needs to be cooler too. 2nd reason was humidity. With the great British weather being as damp as it is the night time humidity has been over 75% some days which now we are deep into flower could quickly lead to bud rot. Insulating the space and running my exterior AC unit has now got that figure to below 56% at all times. I'm very happy with that. Feeding ratio remains unchanged this week. I'm going to continue running the PK13/14 for at least another 7 days or untill the buds finish fattening out. Still feeding 6 litres every other day. No further training at this point just pulling a few colas out of the way of the fan and one main cola from directly under a lamp as it was burning. Also stretch has now finished which is a massive relief as I've no headspace left in the tent at all. I didn't have time to take many photos of the buds in the dark but the ones I have put on show just how frosty these stardawgs get! Really living up to their name considering they are only half way through predicted flower time. The only further upgrade I would like at this point is a proper co2 with digital regulator. I have however read that they dont benefit much from extra co2 from this point onwards?? What is everyone's thoughts on that? Obviously I have my natural co2 generator and will leave it in untill the end of the grow. I realise I really underestimated the size of these plants and 6 sativa dominant species is a stupid idea. The tent is just too packed so on the next run I'll opt for less and go with a scrog. Thanks for checking in! I cant wait to see how the next week plays out.

***UPDATE 03/26/25*** Gave each plant 350ml of dechlorinated tap water at a PH of 6.0 Rearranged the plants so they are directly underneath the bars of light above! The Strawberry Dawg Pie is looking much better at the start of week 3, hoping no more issues with water & light! Temps & RH have been good so far today, RH is on the climb to 70%! ***UPDATE 03/27/25*** Plants responded fairly well to yesterdays watering! Little bit of droop but should perk back up over the next 12 hours or so, 350ml next feed will be best vs jumping right to 500ml, am gonna wait until they have completely dried out before feeding again! Will keep an eye on all 4 plants over the next couple of days, want to remove large fan leaves prior to mainlining! Temps & RH have been pretty good so far today as well! ***UPDATE 03/28/25*** Not much needed to be done today, will probably defoliate in the next day or two & begin mainlining! Temps & RH have been good so far today! ***UPDATE 03/29/25*** Pots are still saturated & I will not have to water for another day or two, some clawing on new growth even at 350ml per plant! Should be able to defoliate & begin LST tomorrow afternoon! Temps & RH have been good so far today, RH will slowly climb back up to 70% over the next hour or two now that the door to the tent is closed! ***UPDATE 03/30/25*** Nothing needs to be done today, will be feeding tomoroow afternoon alongside defoliation & LST! ***UPDATE 03/31/25*** Gave each plant 250ml of dechlorinated tap water mixed with nutrients listed above at a PH of 6.2 All 4 plants have been clawing so I decided to dial it back a bit water wise for now Defoliated, topped & have started LST! RH has been good today but temps have been quite low! ***UPDATE 04/01/25*** Plants responded well to yesterdays feed! Still a bit of clawing but pots are drying up much quicker at 250ml will probably need to water again tomorrow! Some more LST today, had to pinch to soften tissue in order to get the plants anchored down properly! Noticed a couple hairs on the Gravely Ghost, am hoping I still got a bit of time to train & top before flower! RO system showed up today! Got that mounted to a cutting board with L brackets for feet so I can move it around! 5 Gal bucket is currently filling up but is quite a slow process.. Gonna double check with other people who own the unit to see if it's is a normal speed! (Aquatic Life RO Buddie 4-Stage Reverse Osmosis, picture & video above) Checked TDS & is looking like 300ppm ish straight from the tap, RO filtered water is sitting at 4ppm which is good! Temps & Humidity have been pretty good today!

Place your seat backs and try tables in their upright and locked position Mexican Airlines is prepared for take off!!!👍 She's bursting at the seams and in pre-flowering stretch (does pre-flowering count as flowering or vegetation?). Gave her some recharge over the weekend and she LOVED it, major growth within 24 hours. I'm doing my first LST with her and not really sure what I am doing, but it looks good to me. Yo, we’re hittin’ the home stretch of veg, and these girls look like they’ve been pumpin’ iron or somethin’. Stalks thick as a palm trunk, leaves lookin’ like they tryin' to catch all the rays. Ain’t no stuntin’ goin’ on here – these ladies in full-on beast mode. Still feedin’ that Advanced Nutrients on RO water, You know, that extra sauce to keep ‘em strong, gettin' rid of them lower leaves that ain’t doin’ much. Gotta make sure all the energy goes where it counts. The roots gotta be massive by now – these girls takin' up water like a sponge in the swamp, but no signs of droop or deficiencies. The stretch is slowin’ down, but that’s all good. They’re lookin' sturdy, like they ready to handle whatever comes next. Just about time to flip the switch and let ‘em show us what they really got. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. 7/19 Rained all last night. Weather report says it will be rainy for several days. I "suited up" did some slight defoliation and fed two gallons to the garden. Still need to apply BT and get inside and prune with clippers. I'm hesitant due to this huge rash but I need to find a way to do this. Plants look good just need to be cleaned up. 7/20 No water as it's been pretty rainy. Thunderstorms tonight and rain tomorrow. I'll have to wait to apply either Spinosid or BT (as a preventative). I took down the tarps on the back. The wind isn't bad. Usually it's like a wind tunnel but I think this was the right decision. They are still attached at the bottom so the cam go back up quick if high winds come. Considering top dressing with cow manure. It's what I have on hand. I also need to find time to defoliate inside the plants. I'll have to do it when it's wet I guess to avoid the moths. I saw nests at my girlfriend's house on a bunch of apple trees so maybe I got this rash there. I hope so. 7/21 I watered despite some of the soil being damp. It MIGHT rain today but even if it does it wouldn't REALLY give my plants the water they are used to. I also cut some branches inside the plants. I have a lot more to do though. I found a brown-tail moth caterpillar crawling on the soil of one of those buckets outside my cage. Leaving his little poisonous hairs behind. I killed it with fire. I'll update after I spray and/or prune. Humidity is 98% today 70 degrees at 9am. "I'm going to need a bigger boat." 7/22 I put the tarps back up after finding the tall unsupported plant looked all blown over. I removed it from the cage. It's a 30 gallon tote so it opened up my area a little more. I watered this morning as it's supposed to be a nice sunny hot day. Later I plan to LST that seedling that I just left in the 30 gallon tote and kinda neglected. At least I didn't show it the love I had the clones. It's in reveg as well (the only one) and I'm questioning whether it might have a better home elsewhere. I'll check it out when I go for my evening inspection. Looks like possible thunderstorms tonight so I don't know if spraying is feasible. Thank you to all who have been following and helping me on this journey. Much cooler than it has been 65 degrees at 10:30am. 7/23 Watered this morning. I also did some defoliation and pruned lower limbs. I need a night without rain so I can continue with my IPM. I see pillar damage so it will probably be BT that I use. I weed Wacked around the cage this morning and was planning to feed but I ran out of time. The girls will have to wait until tomorrow to eat. The garden looks very healthy as a whole. Slight issues here and there but nothing an outdoor grower wouldn't expect. It's been a great year for growing cannabis thus far! I'll do another video once I get the cage weed Wacked. 7/24 Watered slightly before I Fed two gallons to the garden. Still have leaves turning yellow and falling off but I think its normal. At least the same thing happened the last two years right around this time. Plants have EXPLODED in growth and look great. The stretch is real. I took a minute video that might or might not upload. Took a few pictures too. Internet is pretty slow so I'll probably have to upload pics tomm. Reached the 80s today. Nice and sunny. Oh and walking down to the garden is like getting punched in the face by a skunk lol. The smell is incredible. 7/25 No water as it is supposed to rain today and they drank pretty good yesterday. Still need to defoliate a bit. A few of the seedlings are reveging. That's ok though. I hate seeing leaves die but looking at my previous diary (and the paper one before that) it seems to happen the same time of year right when the stretch starts. For the most part the garden is in preflower so I may start the next week as flower. I also STILL need to spray preventative. I don't really have a problem (besides slight pm and a few random critters but hey it's outdoors) but I need to keep up with the IPM. Im super happy with progress this far.

So far so good, setting her up for some big yields. Letting her recover after last topping, due a defoliation which i might do today on day 57. Day 61 - growth has taken off, loads of LST, BENDING and tying down. Growth on top is doing really well as is the root zone. Bigplantscience is doing its job well! Very close to flipping her to 12/12 Day 62 - all is well, i think kts time to see some fruits! Stay tuned.
