420 Fastbuds FBT2304 Week 6 This week has been exciting for sure. Both have definitely transitioned into flower now, showing flower sites everywhere.Had some calmag issues but I think we got that under control by upping the feeding to 1tsp per gal. Over all I'd say Happy Growing.

Black Opium is looking very nice, healthy green colour and we are growing nicely. As she's still a little tall I have left the prop, so the stem gets to strengthen up and she won't fall over in the meantime. End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

The week as all seedling wasn't quite special but I did notice alot of girls starting to display pistles very early on , which isn't a bad sign at all just hopfully they achieve a good size 30inch to 40 inch I would prefer . Watering I've got under control already with the LEDs . Temps are a different story they have been a nitemare to keep under control , two heaters full power and the LEDS are only keeping the room about 20oC at best sometimes ... So gonna buy some insulation and seal the room up some more and hopfully keep some heat trapped inside the room and hopfully the heating bill reduces by some as this run will cost appox 900£ gbp 1200$ appox 1000€ appox Thoe come this years summer run my temps will be ideal without even using a heater at all which will reduce power to 1kw/h from 2kw/h . I think these @VIPARSPECTRA lights are playing a good part in allowing these girls to use what light is needed for a healthy structure Runtz ZAMNESIA Girls are looking like there genicitis has lots of potential for a very vigorous plant , the last runtz I grew was very big plants hoping for the same type of growth . One does appear to acquire some molding on the frist true leaves but seems not to have slowed any growth or reduced vigorous growth so if you spot this I'm not worried , very vigorous strain Lemon haze - ETS look like they could be bigger plants hopfully they make for a nice grow and don't get out of control making me think should I top my haze ? Blueberry Headbang- ETS This has been the hardest Germination of any seeds and I only got 1 decent seed pop up this one plant I'm taking super good care of as I wanna try Blueberry headbang Headlight kush - ETS a few of these have come up in good old fashion no visible problems and look to grow pretty good I think where gonna have a couple of headlights kush . Seem to be solid and all in sync to whatever part of growth there meant to be at . All plants are doing amazing 👏 they where showing great vigorous growth and some steady growth . Planning on keeping as many girls as possible alothough 16 might be the upper limit if these girls get big as this is the frist time I've used LEDs Im not sure what to expect . The same as hps ? Definitely no the growth from the LEDs is alot better than HPS and I haven't even dailed the temps to stay super steady Going to introduce my GHE flora line at low dosage to not shock the little girls and not to stun any growth . She seems to be a little finicky to low humidity and seems to be a nute whore. Her clone I took 3 or so weeks ago was exibiting same characteristics as this one with low humidity. In living soil but also use Fish Shit and HPK. She'll take as much as I want to give here while the others in the tent want me to back off a bit except Pink Kush she's a nute whore too. Overall happy with her, understandable for a "boutique" strain. Also decided to double down on lighting, running 2 250 true watt quantum boards in my 2x4. Currently turned up on both to 75%. Plan on cranking to full 500w last few weeks.

This will be a good run if things progress like they have. Lights are running 100% about 1400 PPFD. CO2 is set at 1500ppm and this could be a reason for such early development. Temperature is 80-82 degrees, leaf temp 78-80 with 60-65% humidity. I tend to lean toward the high temp/high humidity. I’ve tried managing VPD with lower temps and lower humidity and the quality/yield just isn’t the same. Things will stay this way til the last 2 weeks of flower. I’m excited to see what’s to come. The other 3 plants are in their 4th week of flowering while the deformed one is still vegetating. I'll be changing to mid bloom nute regime soon and it wont be suitable for veg plants anyways. Plus I'll be wasting the nutrients on it. Oh well... At least it was a good learning experience. I really thought it was some plant viral infection and was quite worried about it infecting the healthy plants. Didn't get much response from forums, so I actually asked Lex Blazer (the Youtuber) about it. He thinks its a type of abnormal growth is caused by a rare mutation and it's not some viral infection. 11/10/2021 - I changed the light to Migro Aray 8 since the stretching has stopped. 15/10/2021 - Minor defoliation done.
