Hey growers, welcome back to the Pineapple Upside Down grow journal — week 17 of veg. The plant keeps showing solid, consistent growth week after week. Her structure is getting stronger, and the canopy’s really starting to fill out nicely. Leaves are broad, green, and vibrant — a sign that she’s fully balanced and comfortable in her environment. Nutrient uptake looks perfect; the roots are clearly doing their job. I decided to raise the EC slightly, moving up to 1.8, since she’s been drinking more and showing signs of higher demand. pH remains stable, and the overall system is clean, well oxygenated, and running smoothly. For now, there’s no sign of deficiencies or stress. Everything’s running exactly as planned. I’m still unsure whether I’ll top her before moving to flower. That decision will depend on the final height and how much space she takes once she’s ready to transition into the flowering box. At this point, I prefer to let her develop naturally, focusing on strength and branch structure rather than manipulation. This phase is all about preparing her for a smooth transition into bloom, with maximum vigor and balanced nutrition. So for now, patience and observation. Week 8 done! Harvest is right there! The countdown begins! 🤤💚👊

This week the girls are doing really good the flowers are getting big and thicker. They just got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer. The height is the same as last week, the aroma coming out the tent is like sweet and sour.. it is a normal aroma not as strong for the 7 weeks.

Boom! Touchdown! I let her dry for 13 days before the trim. The humidity in the grow tent was maybe a bit lower than what I usually prefer, but I wanted to be extra cautious against budrot in the other plant drying in the same tent. It was a breeze to trim her and the final result was 84.4 grams of pure flower with no larf at all. In fact, I didn't even bother keeping the trim as there wasn't all that much of it.

She is doing great getting her feeding twice a week and hasn't shown any signs of stress or nutrient lockout ...good strain and smells tasty like fruity sugar or Berries . Did no training to this girl and she has a nice structure to her , great genetics so far with this grow looking forward to next week's growth cheers canna family ..

Ne Obliviscaris. Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

Week ten 64-70 days after germinating

I’ve added recharge to the plants to boost growth and they responded well, there’s one LSD-25 that isn’t getting as much growth out of her and seems to be very small. The Purple Lemonade has started to show signs of pre-flower development but the LSD-25’s continue to veg out. I’ve added pasture raised egg shells to my medium for more calcium to be available for the plants

I did not expect anything special from this crop, but !!! The expectation met all expectations, the growth and formation of bumps continued as usual, until this happened ... the bumps began to increase sharply and grow on top of each other, this is wonderful, they are very large, a lot of sugars, the color is from orange to purple, the smell is pleasant, while sheared, rolled hashish, this is a buzz)))) waited until you can try the cone for taste and I was not mistaken! The taste is amazing, the effect of the bomb))) I would give it for testing, but ....))) Thank you all)

Que pasa familia, vamos con la tercera semana de crecimiento de estas Gorilla cookies Auto de FastBuds. Tiene muy buenas reseñas y pues me animé a colocar 4 plantas. Alimentamos nuestras plantas con Agrobeta. Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 24 horas e intentando mantener la humedad un poco alta al principio. La temperatura está entorno al 22/24 grados y la humedad anda sobre el 60%. De uno de los ejemplares la cague un poco, como siempre que no falte, al quitar la piel de la cáscara de la semilla? Pues arranque los cotiledones sin querer, pero no pasó nada salió adelante y todo perfecto. Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Gaia F1 is looking to be experiencing a bit of a growth spurt, which is nice to see! Hopefully, she will start progressing a little bit more next week. The leaves are a nice green colour looking very healthy, very pleased. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K PH: 6.5 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Comenzando la 5ta semana de floración y esto va así, a mi parecer bien, ya que tuve algunas carencias, los medidores de PH y EC murieron a la mitad del cultivo, y no pude seguir mediendo esos parámetros, fuera de eso todo lo demás está bien.
