it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

Been battling caterpillars & powdery mildew , gave them both a spray over night with some Lost Coast Therapy for the mildew & I will be spraying in another day or two with Monterey BT for the caterpillars, a lot of the mildew disappeared, about two more applications it should be totally gone. This will literally be my last major outside grow

She is growing great ! Started flowering this week, I did a flush after the pre flower and increased the nutrient intake for flowering now. Got a lil light burn so put the light a bit further away, dim is on 80% now. Tie down and partial defoliation did well in evening the canopy and not letting it grow too high, but more in the sides.

Von der ursprünglichen Balkonpflanze #2...die ausgewildert wurde (guerilla) hab ich noch keine aktuellen Bilder...aber kommen noch...in der Woche 9 gibts welche...nicht groß...aber sensationele Farbe und Glanz

She is moving right along. She comes inside at night. She makes the entire garage stink and the hallway leading to it. She is a few days into the week. The weather has been cloudy from the hurricane. She is drinking a lot less, have not had to water her in a few days. Supposed to be cloudy for a few more days. She is close to being done, 1 or 2 weeks tops and she will be harvested. 10/2 Day 108. She is drinking very little, it has been very cloudy outside. Don't like her pot sitting around wet. Although at this point there is very little that could cause a serious problem She either comes in the garage or stays on the porch and maybe gets a fan blowing on her. Depending on the humidity. Last couple of days humidity has been in the 50s and windy. I am guessing 1 possibly 2 weeks and she will be harvest ready. First site of an amber tricomb and she is coming down. 9/4 Day 109. Cloudy out and her pot is still heavy. The last time I watered her could be considered a flush. She is on plain water until harvest. She smells so good, very hard to describe, a fruity diesel. 9/5 day 110 Another cloudy and rain day. Will harvest soon. Don't want anything going wrong, I am too close. 9/6 day 111 finally a sunny day after a week of rain or clouds. She is close to being done. The first amber tricomb I see and she is coming down.

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

More defoliation, it never stops. She looks super healthy and ready to go into flower. Today was her last day in veg. Bring on flower and let's pray to the bud development gods to be kind 😂

D64 - We're at the start of the fifth week of flower, and the girls are looking better day by day. However, a few days I noticed very minor leaf damage on two leaves on the second girl that "might" be thrips damage. It's not a huge deal since the girls will finish in two to three weeks, but I figured it would be prudent to be proactive before the next grow, so I ordered some Cucumeris predatory mites. They arrived today, and I hung a sachet with mites on each girl. D68 - Today, I disconnected the Inkbird controller and humidifier that kept the humidity in the tent high. It is getting towards the end of flower, and I want to decrease the RH in the tent to avoid botrytis. I also set the exhaust fan to run constantly. I hope that will be enough as there isn't enough space in the tent to fit a dehumidifier. #tinytentproblems D69 - The humidity in the tent is still too high for my liking so I had to get creative. I drilled a hole in my dehumidifier so that it can hang in the tent. It's only a small dehumidifier and not very powerful but the tent is tiny and the dehumidifier should be enough to drop the RH by around 10%. D70 - We have reached the end of the fifth week of flower and the girls are rocking it in the tent and their buds are getting fatter as each day passes by. It's only a waiting game at this point although a game where I'm trying to avoid budrot. I adjusted the light schedule yesterday so that the hottest hours of the tent are during the coldest hours of the day. That should even out the temps a bit, and I also keep a flap open on the tent to further reduce the temperature and humidity. The girls are looking great and I would hate to get botrytis and lose part of the harvest.

Ganz Aktuell wurde die Gorilla Cookies Auto von 2Fast4Buds hier bei den Grow Awards 2026 in der Kategorie Best Strain auf Platz 3 und in der Kategorie Best Autoflowering Strain auf Platz 1 gewählt. Das macht mich noch neugieriger... Für den Grow verwende ich 15 Liter ROOTiES Stofftöpfe. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit der Sonnenerde, deshalb habe ich nachbestellt. Sonnenerde hat seine Mischung für die Bio Hanferde letzten Oktober/November geändert. Jetzt sind da kleine Tonkügelchen drin und kleine Gipsstückchen. Laut Sonnenerde soll das die Erde luftiger machen. Auf den Fotos kann man die unterschiedlichen Mischungen gut erkennen. In den AirPots ist die alte Sonnenerde, in den Stofftöpfen die neue. So kann man das Wachstum in den verschiedenen Erden schön vergleichen. Die Smart Start Plugs von zamnesia hab ich wieder verwendet. Tag 79: Die Gorilla Cookies Auto von 2Fast4Buds bekommt dicke, klebrige Blüten die nach Linoleum riechen und 1,0 Liter Wasser. Tag 82: 1,0 Liter Wasser. Tag 83: 1,0 Liter Wasser. 5/17/24. Going into week 3 So the times actually not so sexy currently. Euphoria seems pissed and I’m not sure why. She’s been in droop mode for basically after the first week. I’ve tried not watering.. watering. Now it looks as though her bottom leaves are having some issues. I didn’t think droopy leaves was caused by hunger, but on account of the way the bottom leaves are looking I’d say she probably wants some food. This doesn’t make much sense either since she was transplanted into a bigger pot with fresh soil that I’m sure has plenty nutrients for her. If anyone has any ideas I welcome the input. Not much has changed since other updates. Haven’t fed, but will next watering Temperature between about 75-80f. Humid between 55-62. Lights at 100% about 22 inches up. Hoping I can figure out what’s causing this girls sadness. She’s falling behind the other 2 growing with her. Also, just hate seeing a not happy little plant :( 5/18/24. Whatever the problems is.. it’s progressing badly and fast. Moved her out of direct light this morning and still it’s gotten worse. Ugh. I think that’s everything for this update. I think they've been under attack from the outdoor critters but trichomes all cloudy so may chop in a fee days before any budget has chance too appear as wheather is terrible atm! 🌱

This week, we had a lot of filling out. Violet doesn't seem to grow as tall as wide! The leaves are so pretty, it's heartbreaking to cut them. 9/13 day 37 I thought I started noticing yesterday, but today, Violet quite obviously has red hairs! Hard to notice at a distance, up close, most of the buds have definite red hairs that match my own. Happy about her recent feeding, her luster is returning, and she's more and more full every day. 9/15 day 39 Every day is crazy hair day around this camp, and Violet always shows out with her long, white pistils. Over the last couple of days, the red hairs have been drowned out by more long whites, though I don't know why the back and forth. She is still getting very droopy kind of early, and no light adjustment seems to alleviate this. I've been reluctant to turn the light up to a proper level for flower so far because of it. Can not enough light cause similar symptoms? Every couple of days, I remove a leaf or two, do some tucking to uncover bud tops, and add or adjust LST. Getting wider than taller, she's really started to fill up the cabinet! 9/17 day 41 I take Violet out of the cabinet for what will probably be one of the last times, if not the very last. One fault of our cabinet is the narrow doorway, which we probably need to widen out at some point. Her layers are so well-defined and even, it is easy to see the separate tiers when looking at her straight on. I take off four big, sexy leaves, two of them the remaining original big fan leaves from the first nodes. There are still a couple more that need to come off the very top, but I can do those later, and I don't want to shock her too much at once. I also water 1gal today, enough to barely run out to preserve those nutes from last week's feeding. She looks very tired and sad as I tuck her back into the cabinet. Hopefully she will recover for morning pics. 9/18 day 42 Violet is slow to wake today. I have to detangle all her little leaves every morning, and today is extra. I'm going to adjust her light today. I've been waiting for her to not be so droopy at night, but we're going to see if it maybe helps instead of hurts. I do a moderate raise to 750 PPFD, about 45 DLI, to see how it goes. I also notice the return of the red hairs this morning! Unfortunately, there is no smell whatsoever yet, other than plant. Everyone who sees her says how healthy she looks. Anything that was appearing as light tips has filled out with color, and the beautiful blue-green leaves are full and lush. If everything I've read about this strain is true, we should only have a few weeks left with this plant, and the buds look like they're going to be nicely formed if we stay on course. I have so much hope for Violet's harvest!

It is week 4 of flowering, and both plants are now receiving 1.5 ml/L of Calmag. I suspect this was due to the cold temperatures falling below 19°C during the dark phase, which prevented the Calmag from being transported properly. However, since the outdoor temperatures are currently rising to around 12 °C at night and 20 °C in the tent when the lamp is off, this should solve the Calmag problem.
