First week outdoors and the girls are just loving the fresh air and sunshine! Have been bringing them into solarium at night because we are still hitting 1°-2° some nights, and the solarium only gets down to 14°. Warm nights (>12°) should be here to stay in the next few days, will have them grounded then. Soil pickup and pot preparation today. I get my soil from a local landscape material yard. They do a great "garden mix", has good drainage and very healthy soil. Plants always seem to love it, and at $45 a yard it's so much cheaper than bagged soil. Also today is the day I pick my two of the litter before the other two go to their homes at my in-laws place. Probably take the black pots, all four girls look so good might as well take a tall and a short see which does best! Plants were topped Day 29 from seed and recovered well, quite noticable thickening of the main stem, and by end of week about 1" new growth on tops.

These are starting to get me excited, I'm glad now that I did not cull the 3rd cultivar that was behind, she filled out nicely and is still a bit behind just starting to hit preflower.. however she may end up being the biggest out of the 3 in the long run do to the added veg time.. only thing I don't like about that pheno is she was quite leafy and the bottoms grew a bit wild, however I did the required defoliation and now have her scrogged out in bamboo steaks ✌️

Dernière semaine de croissance. Changement de solution fait le dimanche 22/11 car le ph commençait à descendre en dessous de 6.2 et cela faisait 1 semaine que j'avais fais le précèdent changement. Le PH lors du changement était de 6,8. Il est monté jusqu'à 7.5 mais je laisse le filtre faire son oeuvre. Il est actuellement à 7.1 et continue de descendre naturellement. carence en fer. Ajout d'une dose supplémentaire de Sensi CalMg Edit au 25 : Malheureusement ce que je sentais venir est arrivé, saturation en N. Le Ph et l'EC continuaient de baisser tous les deux. Les parties basses des plantes étant sombre et ayant une carence en fer sur la partie haute (puisque élément mobile), j'en ai déduit que c'était une carence en fer induite par une surfertilisation en N. J'étais à un EC de 1, je suis revenu à 0,8 le mardi 25 au soir. La bioponie est très capricieuse au niveau de l'azote. Le mercredi 26 le ph remonte ce qui signifie qu'on a stopé le processus de dégradation du N. Je devrais changer la solution mais je dois passer bientôt en flo donc j'ai enlevé de l'eau et rajouter, histoire de tenir jusqu'au prochain changement de solution qui est prévu samedi sauf si la situation dégénere de nouveau avec le PH. I should change the solution but I have to float soon so I removed some water and added more, to hold until the next change of solution which is planned for Saturday unless the situation degenerates again with the PH. Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

It’s really difficult trying to figure out the watering at this point. Besides that and the lighting everything else seems to be easier to control due to the technology. The human nature aspect and learning about my medicine and how the plants start to develop more growth and require different needs and attention in each stage is fascinating. It’s my first time and trying to mash up all the information I read online. Well anyways to everyone reading and doing their thing, thanks for all the support and here’s my part 2… Currently feeding distilled water every time I feel my fingers in the dirt are dry about 4” down. I’m scared to water till run off at this point as the roots are still young. I Fed 1/2 cup great white on 12/8 12/11 morning, showed first sign of vegetational stage(7sets of true leaves). 12/11 pm fed nutes(called advance and the guy was great very informative and helpful. Said for autoflowers to give half the dosage that is printed because those measurements are for photo’s) 2mil sense grow ph perfect a 2mil sense grow ph perfect b 4mil voodoo juice 4mil b-52 Mix all these into 1 gallon distilled in order from top to bottom. Then I fed 1/2 cup of that mix to each plant. Used cheap Amazon test kit 270ppm/ water temp 67 / water ph 5.75 12/12 am low stress training I forgot to mention that I increased the dimming from 4-6 on my light which gives the plants 420par ;) and I think 17000lux gotta learn how to use yet another cheap Amazon tool. Hey it works to give a general idea and as long as the numbers are consistent then why not use it as a reference.
